Good to see u back posting earlier Angus, hope your back for good. Interested to get your take on goings on while u were away. What's your take on Stewart and Thelwell situation as u were more willing than others to give people time? And most importantly what's your view on appointment of Danny Rohl? Was he your choice or was there another? Personally I'm really happy with Danny and believe if he gets the support he'll begin to sort out the mess he was left with.
It's going to take some amount of work but he's the man for the job.

Kaiser, have popped in occasionally usually after matches but stayed clear of the madness on referee conspiracies and poor players. MPHs post seemed a 'safe' way to comment and have a chat about football.
re your question both hired a rotten manager and suffered for that but recent events show that there was perhaps more to it.
I still believe we have better players than they show at the moment and with a few decent experienced additions they will come good playing the right tactics, in the right positions with all the fans support.
Raskin's interview today was telling in that he said the fans support was great for him and got him through when it was going badly. we all need to hear that and try to give the same support to the others no matter our opinion on their ability. the manager will decide if they are good enough or fit into his plans.
I never have a choice for manager as I don't know enough of the context around what the club is looking for. But Rohl has started reasonably well but he needs time. there will be bad results along the way but I have always said whoever is manager needs the time to build a team and a squad. that doesn't happen quickly unfortunately but if we want to challenge we need to allow the club to build for the future on and off the pitch. I just hope the narrative around Celtic being so poor doesn't cause fans to turn if we don't win the league. personally I would rather be challenging and winning for future years even if the trade offs giving DR this season to get us closer to that. not everyone will agree.

Still pushing that party line Angus as if the fans are to blame for players poor performance. Yawn.

Nice to see you posting again Angus.

Butcher Bangage and what is your opinion on playing with two cf's ????.
27 Nov 2025 07:02:16
Agree with you Angus, we have decent players, but the dressing room chemistry needs resolved before it will all come good.
27 Nov 2025 07:34:02
Good post Angus, can criticise them on forms like this but I wish people would get behind them at the games as it will only help them.
27 Nov 2025 07:35:22
Does this mean we're going to be seeing more "balance" to the forum now Yoda's back? Oh goodie!

Thanks for the response mate. Aye probably best thing picking and choosing which bits of madness to join in. ?. Interesting when many blame the fans Raskin says the opposite and thanked the fans.
Also think Rohl will be given more time as fans can understand what he's been left with on and off the park. While one of two might improve the vast majority are miles off being good enough. Martin and others actually had the foundations a decent team to build on yet he blamed others for our lack of success but only made us far worse. Obviously some fans like at all clubs can be a bit extreme and others just expect immediate success but think the majority realise the size of the task at hand and everything that is going on needing fixed. Certainly going by the songs for him despite continued poor performances.
Rohl has also came in and worked hard to show respect for the club and the fans in complete contrast to RM and from what I hear continues to do so behind the scenes so is establishing a great relationship off the park as well as trying to get things better on it.

Butchers bandage. if you read rather than just trying to troll then you would see that I am not blaming any fan for anything. I am urging us to use our support for the good of the club during matches when we can give players confidence to play better and try things without fear.
how about giving something constructive though rather than just continually picking on another users views.
BTW the party line means that the 'party' i. e. the club have been using that argument. try to get the brain cells chatting to one another mate it helps with rational thought.
27 Nov 2025 08:03:54
Butcher are you actually saying the fans have no effect on a player, absolute nonsense or is Raskin lying?
27 Nov 2025 10:18:33
Sunshine I stopped posting as I realised my views were different from the majority and there seemed no point falling out all the time. I also see that a lot of the posters who do see things differently don't post any more or as often as well and that is sad from the forum's point of view.
there are posters like Kaiser and a few others who despite thinking differently from me you can come on and have a decent discussion with.
however just to keep you happy not back but MPH had a post which I thought was interesting to post a response to and just did that. then as Kaiser asked I responded to him; just being polite. I will leave you to your constant negativity about the club you support ?.

Would rather you were back Angus, really enjoy your take mate and looking at it differently.
27 Nov 2025 11:27:34
I'm not trolling and I did read your post Angus. You were pushing that narrative of fans being at fault since PC and you were alluding to it again. If a player is not of the required standard, no amount of cheering will make them better. Just the same as if a player is mentally strong, no amount of booing will make them worse.
The problem is and always has been the standard of player recruited because we have had incompetent managers and directors of football. As soon as we fix this issue we will be in a much better place.
Its not the fault of the fans.
Two strikers would be a great idea.

Thought as much boomerang.
27 Nov 2025 11:57:08
Nice to see you back Angus, I'm sure the vast majority have missed your posts recently,

We had our arguments Angus but am glad you are back posting keep it up.
