We're going to regret Bailey Rice kid has the best composure at the club and should be deployed as Rangers number 6.

He hasn't kicked on and is a very average player. Why the hype?. he had a chance and it never clicked. I wish him all the best if he leaves.

Not according to the coaches at the club, from what I've heard from a couple of people is that he's not ready to play that 6 role.
I heard he may go out on loan but not sure if that's the case.

We need players who will improve us. for me, Rice isn't going to do that. It's time for him to go.
Really is ridiculous the amount of players at the club that aren't good enough.

Nonsense.

Rice should have stayed at Motherwell and got much more experience, but he is only 19, nothing is saying he'll not have a very good career, but he needs regular games and sadly that won't be at Rangers.

Not ready yet but should sign new deal and go out on loan for a couple of seasons. No point going to EPL or championship apart from money if it's about getting game time for next few years.
02 Dec 2025 22:54:02
I'd go with that Kasier, even check him out after been on loan a season.
02 Dec 2025 23:01:34
Another youngster ruined by Rangers, we are the ones to blame not the boys, cause we don't give them a chance to kick-on.
03 Dec 2025 02:20:51
Both parties are at fault I feel. Rangers should have loaned him back to Motherwell for a couple of seasons to develop. But at the same time his work ethic on the defensive side of the game has a loooong way to go.
Seemed to give up a lot when the team were out of possession. Cup game as a major example when he gave up on the tackle that led to a goal.
03 Dec 2025 08:01:08
The point on going to championship is he'll get a place in the squad of those teams and compete to prove himself, and with epl he'll get put into u23s and compete for a good few years against players ahead of him in every way really. This will allow him to develop, something he won't and doesn't get in Scotland.

Thought Rice was injured?
03 Dec 2025 08:42:18
Lad just needs a couple of 4 year contracts down south and probs will have a very nice life with none of the hassle/pressure playing for our team. good luck to him.
03 Dec 2025 08:50:54
He is injured, underwent surgery last week.

Rices passing ability probably mean that No 6 is he best position but he hasn't developed to play that role at first team level. He's not physical or mobile enough yet to do that. The trouble is he's not got the skillset required for the other midfield roles to allow him to play and get experience. Its catch 22 really.
Maybe he should have had a loan before now but unfortunately the club has to keep young Scots around in case they are required for Europe. I know he's got a bad injury but if he were to sign an extension ( which seems highly unlikely ) we should try and get him a loan at a decent level where he will play most weeks.
