Just after hearing that maurice ross has been definitely spoken to and the frontrunner to be appointed as part of Danny Rohl's backroom team ?
Allegedly Rohl was very impressed with mo ross when they held talks together ?Has either John, EHL or Asa heard anything regarding mo ross possibly going to be announced sometime next week ? Only passing on what i've just been told guys and shared it with one and all on here ???.

So John, do you reckon maurice ross is in the final 3 now shortlisted to join Danny Rohl's backroom team ?As i say mate, i was told earlier he's now the frontrunner and preferred candidate but time will tell and we should find out by the end of next week ?Rhys McCabe's dad Kevin giving absolutely nothing away and told again from a close family member he's not been spoken to although it could be he's keeping his cards close to his chest ?.

To be fair he's not a great commentator with regards to entertainment as he's quite mono tone and dry, however he come across as very knowledabe to the amatuer ear. i'm no coach and don't know what it takes to be a coach, i'm sure its more than just football knowledge, he has to be the right fit for the coaching team, SPL, squad and Rangers football club.

Maurice Ross would be a disaster of an appointment, flopped hugely when coaching at Cowdenbeath in the lowland league. I know many people connected to Cowdenbeath and they describe him as aloof and above himself. Literally anyone else would be a better appointment in my opinion.

I have known Mo since he was 11 years old. I actually has a txt from him the other day. I first saw him in the under 13 Scottish Cup final in the early 90s when he was playing centre half for Dundee Fairmuir boys club against Mill United from Hamilton in Dundee and his team lost 6-1.
When he came to Ibrox as an S form I had high hopes for him. As he moved into coaching years later I heard that he wasn't particularly popular or even all that competent.
As far as I'm led to believe his coaching career so far has been one of mediocrity and nowhere near what we need. And his txt to me recently made no hint that he was anywhere near being a front runner for the Rangers job. In fact he didn't even hint at it.

There was a few we had quite a good site at one point, not that it's not now. But the info on this site at one point was absolutely incredible.
I worry that the Tim's came in and caused a lot of drama and arguing on purpose woth bad comments and digs and this ruining the guys who were giving the info to the rest of us.
It's a pity, I've no doubt it will pick back up again.
The more the fans aremt happy I think the more info will be given to appease us.
Ue targets and sponsorship deals and stadium. And training ground rights and so on.
They things may well start to come into the gossip mill from good reliable sources to appease the fans protests a bit.

The games about opinions boys. My personal opinion is he talks a load of crap when he's on Rangers TV. And he's done poorly as a coach. We've appointed enough coaches and managers over the years who have no right to be appointed as part of our staff, and he falls firmly into that category.
Just because he came through our youth system doesn't deserve him a job on our staff.

Our club always amazes me.
The fact that we're debating the appointment of a first team coach, who's specific role hasn't even been clarified blows my mind.
Having spoken to a few of the current coaches, Rohl has assessed the structure of coaches and has identified a number of gaps, so we'll probably see 3 or 4 new coaches appointed over the coming months.

SWS it probably won't be either, but I'd like to see McCann or Davis or both. They leave Mo Ross standing in terms of ability, stature and experience. I've known him since he was a wee boy, but the thought of Mo as a Rangers first team coach leaves me cold.

Personally I really enjoy mo Ross's take on the game, doesn't like the extra passes, likes more urgency and hates mucking about, obviously can't be sure his true credentials just from that alone but on listening to him alone I'd like that type of attitude instilled into our squad.

No way anyone with 3 candidates is going to tell any one of them they are the frontrunner. why would you do that then risk alienating the others should you change your mind.
its the same as people saying Rohl was 3rd choice, when it is known he was spoken to before Martin was employed. some people need to understand media release clickbait every single day. take it with a pinch of salt and wait until Rangers announce it.

Mo Ross is very astute, thorough and has a good eye for the small details I think he would thrive in a coaching role as opposed to being his own manager.
