I’d like to see the same line up for Thursday with the possible exception of Camara for Arfield, who has been brilliant of late. I just feel Camara can play that sitting role with Jack and allow Aribo to link with the front three of Kent Alfie and Roofe.

We have everything to play for in this and a win would see us through and allow us to rest in the other games later on and give game time to others. This season is looking great so far. Long way to go, but so many positives thus far.

I’d rather swap Kamara for Aribo if i'm honest. Aribo is a good player but for me Arfield makes us tic in final 3rd with his great passes that are always perfectly weighted and him running beyond the strikers creating space for them in box.

I think he will go with Kamara in with Aribo going fwd one and Roofe dropping out. Jack Kamara and Davis would be my choice but leaves no space for Arfield lol Big decisions but that’s what you want as a manager.

Balogun's pace could be crucial, though his lack of concentration when he nearly got caught in possession a couple of times against Aberdeen might be an issue against a better side like Benfica.
Or do we go with Helander who's slower than a week in the jail but has tremendous positional sense and is a brilliant tackler?
I'm in the Balogun camp for the Benfica game.

Helander will probably be back in and the main reason being he’s a left footer which gives us better balance at the back. You’ll notice that Barasic is never quite as affective when Balogun is in the team. With Balogun being right footed, when he brings the ball out from the back he is always looking to pas the ball into one of the midfielders or turn it inside to Goldson. Barasic doesn’t get the early service that he does when Helander brings the ball out and is naturally looking to push the ball up the line to him. Barasic has said it himself in the past that he feels he operates better with a left footed CB beside him. Gerrard prefers playing with one right footer and one left footer as his CB’s. it helps with the way we play, with early service going to our attacking fullbacks.

This Rangers squad is strong, deep and are flying in every game. If we are still at least 14 points ahead in January after the Celtic game then we WILL win #55. The key for me on this season's squad to last season's squad is from the bench now, we can replace quality with quality 👌 That for me will make the difference this season, along with the tweak of the system, where gerrard has our players interchanging constantly, making it hard for the opposition to mark 👍
The players are playing the system superbly and without shouting its over, because its not, or anything like that, this is why i do fancy us to win the league title this season 👍🙏.

The reason i'm asking John25,is because although we don't continually want park and bennett picking up the shortfall every season, i do think some of the scaremongering is over the top and the guys running our club will make sure we're fine 👍We all must have knew this season, with this terrible virus etc and our expenditure on players and wages, that we would have a significant loss in our accounts, this year 🤔.

Snell, i agree with SRK that i also do believe that ryan kent is our most valuable asset. Kent will make us more in a transfer fee than barisic imo because of 2 main reasons. Kent is younger than barisic and the type of player kent is 👌I truly think when we do eventually sell kent, we will easily get £20million +👍.

Leeds will come back in with a 20M offer for Kent in January. I hope that an agreement is put in place for the deal to be structured around a summer move and not for a jan move, so he’s able to stay for the 55 party.
Borna fee and future will be heavily influenced by how he does at the euros as will Kamara’s.

Borna has qualities that are very difficult to find, for me he's Rangers most valuable player, but I don't think he'll go for the most money.

We can speculate all we want but a player is worth what someone is prepared to pay. Kent is a big asset in the lucrative English market because of his nationality, while Barisic and Morelos probably hold wider appeal, in Spain for instance or even Germany in the case of Borna. Kamara is another player with wider appeal and is highly thought of on the continent because of his technical ability. As well as that, Aribo, Helander, Katic and one or two others might attract attention. We really do have a valuable squad right now, and it would not be a problem to raise £20m next year if necessary. At the end of this season maybe two of our bigger players will go, probably Kent and Morelos.

I noticed yesterday that our game was being covered by the BBC radio scotland and had full match live commentary. Great news for anyone who drives for a living getting to listen to our matches live. We really need to sell someone for a ton of cash, just to even the books. There won't be a two in a row until we stop making losses. The other side keep going on about this, but I'm also worried about where we're going to get the money to keep the momentum going.

I'm not being negative here. I just want us to sustain the progress and be positive for many years to come.

A lot of Clubs run at a loss for tax purposes, Celtic could end up in a more precarious position than us financially, and long term if they lose on Thursday putting them out of Europe, then you'll see a meltdown. They are all, not just Celtic Fans, clutching at straws with any Rangers story because we're playing so well, don't forget, these muppets all tried to bury us once before and failed, I trust our Board. Our Commercial side of things will produce a lot of additional revenue for us, and as someone else has posted, the Castore money is not in these figures.

Trust the guys running our club, as they're confident and ain't perturbed in the least and have given reasons for this loss 🤔Its wishful thinking by the anthill mob regarding a lot of the scaremongering, but they can't full a lot of us, as rangers will be just fine financially 👍No need to sell any of our top players in january, unless of course it was a crazy amount of money we were being offered for ie. alfredo morelos, ryan kent, joe aribo, glen kamara etc! For ffp to kick in you need to exceed ffp four years in a row. Ie 0ver 70% of revenue.
We r 59.64,71 and 74. UEFA have already said to clubs this year ie 74 % won’t count as season was curtailed.

This can't be compared to 2012 mate, there's no comparison. Back then we had a conman at the helm with no concern for the club at all, whereas this time we have true Rangers men running the club who are prepared to put their own money in until we get through this. On top of this support we have European money, merchandise money, sponsorship revenue, season ticket money (granted we are taking a hit with no fans in the stadium) and millions in equity from our playing squad which is worth more than it has in many years.
Yes, things don't look great, but we must trust these guys running the club as they all know what they're doing as they've been very successful business men for many years.

Hi John, he was actually getting interviewed in one of the papers the other day, and at first because of his name (apologies for being so small minded lol) I thought here we go again, but no he was actually very informative and came across well and not like the usual east end "Rangers finances experts" you find coming out of the woodwork this time each year. This guy is an expert, and gave an honest, unbiased and informative explanation on why things are nowhere near as dire as many would hope.
