Disappointed that Ross mcCrory appears on his way the boy never truly been given a chance under Gerrard but I trust his judgement he sees players every day in training. Let's make sure we get ore than 200k reported I'd think 500k more realistic.

13 Aug 2020 20:39:41
Just a name I wanted to float out there to see what people thought. Yannick bolasie? Looks like Everton want to offload or possibly loan out. Would anyone take him?

13 Aug 2020 21:18:56
Oooft wages be a deal breaker.

13 Aug 2020 22:06:51
Maybe 5 years ago.

14 Aug 2020 01:19:43
Not for me Deecee. didn't do well at Sporting Lisbon. I think we have better at the club already.

13 Aug 2020 20:23:20
Thanks to bolingoli and the Aberdeen 8 all training for over 18s in Scotland suspended (outwith spl) until 24th at earliest, pending statement regarding new rules to deal with breaches of guidelines. Shambles.

13 Aug 2020 21:20:16
These new rules are pointless if retrospective action isn't taken against the sheep and septic.

13 Aug 2020 22:12:02
No thanks good player 2 years ago but not for me.

13 Aug 2020 20:05:00
Does anyone think that Goldsons position might possibly be under threat? Just due to the form of Balagoun and Helander has done well when he has come in. Or do you think it will always be Goldson and a. n. other.

13 Aug 2020 20:19:31
Goldson and another.

13 Aug 2020 20:20:13
No i don't Daethebouncy, because both balogun and helander are left footed/ sided centre halfs and the ideal/ perfect balance is with Connor Goldson playing beside one of those 2 left sided centre halfs, it gives our team a much better balance for me anyway! Gerrard into the bargain rates big goldson very highly and will play him first and foremost 👍.

13 Aug 2020 20:24:39
In fairness Goldson looking much better with an experienced player beside him than say Katic or Goldson.

13 Aug 2020 20:25:09
Bouncy I think big Goldson has been great since start of season. The big guy deserves to keep the jersey imo.

13 Aug 2020 20:59:15
John when has Goldson played next to Goldson? I would have thought that was impossible lol.

13 Aug 2020 21:33:08
Sgl has a direct line to sg like batman and commissioner gordon so he'll know better than us troops.

13 Aug 2020 21:59:13
Goldson has done very well so far so why drop him?

13 Aug 2020 22:13:02
Lol ka meant Edmundson. Can’t even blame predictive test. And I only had one glass of red.

14 Aug 2020 01:02:42
Good point

Edmundson is going to find himself way down the pecking order

Again how is the young guy going to develop when he won’t get a lot of game time?

14 Aug 2020 01:30:46
Goldson is untouchable. He's first name on the team sheet. Although I've been critical in the past I think Goldson has started the season reasonably well. Last night he had a couple of bad mistakes that would or could have been punished by better opposition but overall I can see he is the main communicator in the back four and he organises well. Balogun has been good and Helander is a great reader of the game even if he lacks pace. David Weir looked like he was running in quick sand at times but his lack of pace didn't hold him back. Balogun is right footed even although he plays mainly on the left side of centre defence so it would be interesting to see him on right centre defence with Helander on the left.

14 Aug 2020 02:36:47
SGL you are correct about the balance of the pairing and of course Goldson deserves to keep the jersey anyway as he is playing so well right now. I know he hasn't come here to sit on the bench, but if Balogan's injury keeps him out for a couple of games he might find it hard to get back in if Helander keeps up good form. A great headache for the boss to have, considering there are another two who want a jersey too.

14 Aug 2020 07:36:58
Am just messing anyway John lol.

14 Aug 2020 09:21:54
Steven Gerard loyal balogun is indeed right footed pal. maybe the youth coach said otherwise 😁.

13 Aug 2020 20:00:28
Got a rumour from some N. Doncaster apparently this season will be scrapped and the title will be awarded to the top team or was it a dream?

13 Aug 2020 20:31:39
Wouldn't suit yately's conspiracy agenda🤭👍.

13 Aug 2020 21:32:18
No conspiracy from me about handing out a League Title only 2 weeks into a C.V. C.V.? Strange one that and even Edd had his take on that today admitting lunacy! Anyway I will leave the last word to you as always🤔🤭👍👍👍👍👍👍👍.

13 Aug 2020 21:39:00
The good thing is Coldo I think you are coming to my way of thinking and spreading the word🤔🤭👍👍👍👍👍.

13 Aug 2020 19:13:17
Another good 3 points last night never managed to see any of the game but heard from a few people they played some really good stuff. The key is consistency taking each game as it comes.
Think it will b a difficult game on Sunday against Livingston but think we will get the 3 points.

13 Aug 2020 19:21:20
Barisic was different gravy The coop 👌We just can't afford to sell him even more so than selling morelos!
He's got a wand of a left peg, so he has! One of the best left backs in britain bar none and most definitely by far the best left back in scottish football 👌.

13 Aug 2020 19:55:39
Boy I know still insists greg taylor is a better lb 😂😂😂.

13 Aug 2020 20:23:48
Greg Taylor better than Borna Barisic, hillarious that lot are mate 😂😂Taylor ain't in the same planet ability wise to the rangers/ croatian no.1 left back BB! 👌.

13 Aug 2020 20:26:12
Barasic if sold should be same kinda money that boy the Celtics sold.

13 Aug 2020 22:02:23
Heard another balloon on ssb say that not one Rangers player would get in their squad! Seriously deluded. 55 will be so sweet 😂.

13 Aug 2020 16:59:20
Seen someone state Borna shoulda be in the same fee level of Tierney 25mil, hopefully dos t leave this season as he’s key to us winning trophies this year imo but if a bid of 20mil odd bid came for his services think rangers will find it hard to turn down hopefully stays not had as much consistent performer since Sasa p!

13 Aug 2020 17:35:27
I loved sasa papac and thought the world of him. He was always very steady and very rarely gave a below 6 performance 👍Having said that and being totally honest here, borna barisic is on a different level as a left back, to our very popular former left back sasa papac fellow bears!
In my opinion barisic is easily the best left back we've had, since the wonderful arthur numan 👌.

13 Aug 2020 18:07:43
I smell a poll.

13 Aug 2020 18:15:11
Agree re barisic. Sgl.

13 Aug 2020 18:18:20
Coop, my favourite was Davie Robertson who was solid and never ever injured although Arthur was class. Borna is certainly different from any left back we have had in the past in my time and is excellent. A minimum £20 if sold✌️🇬🇧.

13 Aug 2020 18:18:26
SGL have to agree, Papac whilst a very steady and reliable journeyman doesn't have the skillset nor the speed that Barisic has. still recall many of the same current haters of Morelos saying to get rid of Barisic 2 years ago. thank god our board don't listen to this forum eh.

13 Aug 2020 18:46:54
Geesa I think most bears had there doubts on Barisic that first year, he seemed mentally weak, injury issues and maybe even struggling to fit into Scottish football, it was actually like the flicking of a switch when he scored that free kick against St Mirren and He’s never looked back and gets stronger and stronger every time we see him.
Seriously big asset but he’s at an age that the big fee would be now if we were to get one.

13 Aug 2020 19:01:19
100% different level but the consistency has not been there since Sasa he was an old fashioned full back did his job didn’t need the headlines point I was trying to make its took years to replace the consistency so hope Borna stays.

13 Aug 2020 19:24:11
Yip yately01,i thought davie robertson was also a superb left back and just behind numan for me,
but only just! 👍.

13 Aug 2020 21:19:32
For us oldies, Eric Caldow was a superb left back.

13 Aug 2020 21:40:59
Yip DOIGER, my late dad used to talk so highly of eric caldow mate! 👌👍.

13 Aug 2020 22:03:39
Loved Caldow, Robertson and Sasa but Numan was the best imo.

13 Aug 2020 22:11:38
Human, barisic, Robertson, Munro, papac in that order for me.

14 Aug 2020 09:34:06
Eric Caldow was class. He was never booked in his long career, for a defender that shows how good he was.

14 Aug 2020 09:59:21
I didn't see caldow but dad says he was the best we had.

13 Aug 2020 14:50:08
Thought Roofe looked very rusty when he came on yesterday but what I liked to see was that even after a few errors, he would still have his head up looking to receive the ball and try get into space. As the gaffer said he is a week or so behind the others in terms of his fitness. Once he is more match sharp I think he will be a real good signing. Also hadn't realised until yesterday that Hagi might even be a slower runner than Helander haha. He is getting a good bit of stick and his performances haven't been great in fairness but he will be a big game player for us and there is no denying that he can pick a pass. Happy with this start to the season so far!

13 Aug 2020 16:04:14
Hagi is not the quickest, which is a pity. Thought Roofe looked quite quick and sharp. Also not scared to put himself about.

13 Aug 2020 17:14:06
Seems to be growing campaign against haji. Needs to stop.

13 Aug 2020 17:34:16
I like Hagi tbh and I think he will come good. He's just not on his game at the moment.

13 Aug 2020 17:42:25
You're correct 6counties it isn't right and has to stop! That's what some on here continually do pal!
Its now hagi, whereas its been tav,
kamara, goldson and even morelos!
They don't totally get the picture and constantly think our players are robots and have to play immense mostly all the time. Football doesn't work like that and its not just black or white, as there's many contributing factors in between!
Get behind the team for god's sake instead of continually on their backs and the ones that constantly do it, know who they are!

13 Aug 2020 17:55:17
SGL I disagree I have said from the start about hagi you will have more bad games than good he has been like that at every club and wasn’t worth the money paid no matter what you say.

13 Aug 2020 18:16:30
SGL everyone entitled to opinion, Counties regular runs down Morelos so a laugh he should moan.

13 Aug 2020 18:19:13
Hagi will come good🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧.

13 Aug 2020 18:32:40
How many Rangers fans were talking about how good Hagi was after his 2 goals against Braga?
We are all entitled to our opinion but we have had in the past Tav, Kamara, Goldson, Morelos, and Barasic slated on this forum.
Some of the names mentioned have recently attracted interest from other clubs.

13 Aug 2020 18:54:26
Our supporters dragged this club singlehanded through our recent tough times, in incredible ways, some financially to their own detriment. Why when a player has a dip do some feel the need to hammer them continually? The players who are struggling for form need the supporters backing and not slating. Get behind every player who pulls on our jersey and as a man we will achieve together.

13 Aug 2020 19:59:48
How is it running him down, people have just pointed out he's been very poor. Which he has, I posted last season I didn't think he was suited to scottish football, and nothing I've saw yet makes me change my mind.

13 Aug 2020 21:36:48
If you are all referring to me then Iv got to say I don't think I’ve been too harsh, all Iv said is he’s not the quickest and hasn’t been as good as we know he can be for the first 3 games but had his good moments which is a valid point. Was shocked he never played against Leverkusen because I think he is a big game player.

14 Aug 2020 00:26:55
👍jv 95. Think those are the games he's more suited to if that makes sense. he's a good player but I think s lot of gsmes when teams are putting it about, he's a bit lightweight. Talented lad, just not 100%sure he was the right signing. Obviously hope to god I'm proved wrong.

13 Aug 2020 13:34:00
Ed001 - what's your take on the full shenanigans going on in Scottish Football just now?
Is it all about "amateur hour" compared to the English Premier League who managed to complete their season without any major incidents?
Compared to us, who've already had 2 and the new seasons only a couple of weeks old.

{Ed001's Note - I think it was a mistake not finishing the season to get all these incidents sorted out and rules in place to deal with any issues. It is very amateurish how they are acting, they had not even considered how to act in these cases. It is beyond me why no one had considered that players, who are not exactly the brightest of people at the best of times, would make stupid decisions. We saw multiple cases during the lockdown of idiot childish footballers arsing things up, so surely that should have made them come up with a way of dealing with it? This issue with Aberdeen, Bolingoli and the Leigh Griffiths party are all issues that should have had a process in place to deal with. Everyone should have known where they stood, but instead you are all left wondering what on earth is the punishment. It is very amateurish.}

13 Aug 2020 15:14:49
Totally agree Ed001s🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇦🇺⚽️😎👍.

{Ed001's Note - it reminds me of the English Football League, where, no matter how many warnings from elsewhere they get, they never actually act to prepare for anything until after it happens.}

13 Aug 2020 15:35:46
Exactly Ed.
Can't suddenly start making up rules for retrospective punishment now.
Even though as banter we'd all love Celtic to be docked points and handed 3 - 0 defeats as punishment 😂
This should have been all ironed out before the season started.
Do you think the money involved in England ( not that some players in Scotland aren't earning peanuts ) means that once the football started back up they were all on their best behaviour?

{Ed001's Note - I think they were just glad of the chance to play and finish off the season. There were games that mattered as it was towards the end of the season, rather than the start of the season when games seem a little less important. Also they were playing almost every other day, so they got little time off to get into bother.}

13 Aug 2020 15:43:26
Good debate lads. Surely if the Scottish League had been allowed to finish (as in England and other countries) at least the season would have been played out, no qualms about who won what or was relegated and start afresh. The SFA and SPFL clearly don't have a clue! They've had MORE time to put procedures and policies/ rules in place but have failed dismally. A bunch of absolute amateurs.

13 Aug 2020 16:01:06
That's probably an excellent point about the games being every couple of days Ed. 👍.

{Ed001's Note - it did change things I think. The likes of Grealish and Kyle Walker (among many others) were having lots of parties etc during lockdown, but when the football was back that stopped. The players barely had time to think about it really.}

13 Aug 2020 16:17:14
Edd, you are 100% correct and the Scottish League could have waited and played out the season with the Tim’s maybe even winning the Title instead of handing it out! The minute null and void was mentioned it was ran through the system! What the SPFL done to Hearts was absolutely criminal and had the cheek to have their own enquiry to see if it was legal!

{Ed001's Note - I did find it odd that they even wanted it in the circumstances. They had won the previous 8, had a decent lead, I would have thought they would want to do all they could to get football back playing again to reassert dominance. It is not like they had been waiting for a few years to get in the position they were in.}

13 Aug 2020 13:28:25
Delighted with last night's scoreline but how many agree with me that we are just lacking that wee bit? Hagi, aside from a couple of good moments, was very poor, losing possession and giving the ball away etc. I think the big problem is the lack of atmosphere, however I have a theory in that the teams that can somehow overcome this, whether it is by using sports psychology therapists or whatever, will be more likely to have a successful season. On the plus side, we have played 3 games, scored 7 goals without reply, and, apart from maybe 2 instances, have not even looked like conceding. If we can keep grinding out the wins we will be hard to overhaul in the second half of the season. Btw I thought Jack and Kamara absolutely strolled the game last night. I really think they are class players and vital to the team. Great goals ny Barisic and Kent.

13 Aug 2020 15:44:42
I actually thought St Johnstone started really well and actually reminded me of the 2 Hearts games after the winter break by getting into Rangers faces.
The difference this time was the players never panicked.
Like you said, Jack and Kamara were composed in the middle.
Kent was willing to run at them.
Barisic's crossing was exceptional.
And we are still keeping clean sheets.
Consistency will be our key and we haven't hit top gear yet.
Only negative - I'd love to see the new strikers score sooner rather than later. Just for their own confidence. 👍
One game at a time though.

13 Aug 2020 16:28:42
If you think the St Johnstone players got into the faces of the players early on wait till you see Sunday. No doubt Holt will be telling them to get right in about us with their usual enthusiastic challenges. Just hope the ref is strong and stamps on it very quickly.

13 Aug 2020 17:29:17
Once the players are up to full speed think we need to be more attacking play either jack or Kamara with 2 upfront esp at Ibrox finding the form to breaking down teams who sit deep is the downfall last season I recon we played Celtic off the park the majority of the games Last season and before as we have the players to do so if teams come at us, scoring early opens up the game and allows us too play football.

13 Aug 2020 11:43:29
I hope Castore place the items that are being sold in club shop on the online store ASAP for those that live elsewhere so we get the chance to get some of the quality merchandise that I have seen in pics. The black 3rd top not even in there yet.

13 Aug 2020 13:30:26
Hopefully they get more strips in stock asap.
That fat rat ashley has been selling his quota which is sad to see some folk are lining the pockets of that @rse h*le.

13 Aug 2020 14:40:35
Do they actually have strips for sale in shop? Online has nothing? 😡.

13 Aug 2020 15:33:10
3cheers unfortunately with my choice of clothing i wear its almost impossible not to line ashleys pockets.

13 Aug 2020 10:57:17
I do love a celtic fans voice on our signings. Quote a few. I.E. Sutton and mcnamara.

Where do The Rangers get this money from to bring in two St's. They will soon end up back in administration.

They need to sell morelos or barisic to fund these players.

Didn't celtic go for Otten in January for £1.5m but only to be told they where to pay £5m.

We don't know what money we have to pay for players, only gerrard and the board know.

As for Sutton I really do hope he gets the sack for most his snide comments.

On another note.

Olsen. His parent team want £5m source my mate he don't knkw anything about football ( he's working an art project in Florence) don't know if any truth but apparently they rejected a bid from rangers for £2.7m

Do we need this guy?

We need to consentrate on the league keep our best players add one or two and hope we stop this 10iar pish. Let juventus be the first to get it.

Thoughts?

13 Aug 2020 11:14:13
Only on Sutton Fifaguy, he's not worth reading or listening to, a bitter twisted person. I would love to see his face when we win the league this season though. Mind you, Lawell and his courtiers will be planning to void the whole season if C.V. spikes again, with nobody declared champions.

13 Aug 2020 11:33:18
Would take Skov Olsen in a heartbeat yeah.

13 Aug 2020 12:32:57
Its not that hard to work out that we do probably need to sell b4 spending more tho imo. Losing over 10mill a year in the accounts is not sustainable year after year. Team os in a good place and the moment. Maybe another midfielder in the door. Think we need to be prepared for some big bids coming in for borna tho.

13 Aug 2020 13:46:30
Totaly agree that we are going to have many strong bids coming in for Borna as he is without doubt our most prized asset at the club.
He would be very difficult to replace
The guy is brilliant and left backs like him don't grow on trees he has come on leaps and bounds and is right up there with the best of them. His ability to run up and down that wing and pin point accuracy crossing is second to none not to mention his ability from a dead ball situation too and that's my fear that we are going to be offered money that will be very hard to turn down.

13 Aug 2020 10:39:43
Couldn't believe Gudi on SSB last night he's advocating that from now any C.V. breach is punished but doesn't believe in retrospective punishment of Sheep and them!
So basically the get a free hit, no punishment and possibly crowd revenue given when these games are likely to be played!
If there is no punishment In whatever form it takes placed on those 2 teams, surely precedent has been set and how then if any of the other 10 teams then stupidly step out of line
Could they be hit with whatever sanction
The madness of the SSB pundit continues!

13 Aug 2020 10:50:20
Blue Sea, you are right but no crowds will be in at matches for next 3 months Or more as government ain’t going to let it happen and Liewell can bump his gums as much as he wants✌️.

13 Aug 2020 11:22:22
Pundits opinions are meaningless Bbs, just like ours on here they are after all just personal opinions mate.

13 Aug 2020 13:15:52
Aye Yately but they are talking about playing the postponed Celtic games in the new year when there possibly will be crowds. That can't be fair.

13 Aug 2020 16:10:52
You might be right Seeker and we are probably better waiting until Caldo tells us how this should be dealt with🤪🇬🇧.

13 Aug 2020 17:49:38
Its all part of the grand plan yately between liewell and the sfa to have season void because the tims dropped points the other day🤷‍♂️. Doesthat suit your agenda🤔🤭🤦‍♂️😂👍.

13 Aug 2020 18:14:14
If the postponed matches are replayed on front of fans the ticket money should be donated to the NHS by the mankies and the sheep.

13 Aug 2020 10:28:52
I have to say I’m not very impressed with the thought about selling Docherty and McCrorie 2 players with I’d say decent potential, I think Gerrard has ruled out a loan for both players witch I can’t understand! I doubt their value is very high at the moment, if we can loan them out to another spl team and they have a good season their value goes up or possibly they play their way back into Gerrards plans. Also they wouldn’t play against us so possibly weakening these team when we come to play them. I just don’t get it🤷🏽‍♂️.

13 Aug 2020 10:42:00
We need to generate funds to strengthen the squad. Docherty not good enough but McCrorie would be useful, but if we are going to sign another CM then McCrorie will be further down the pecking order. Its just life in football. 👍.

13 Aug 2020 10:47:56
Not sure about McCrorie but believe Docherty is in last year of contract so loan would be no good as could then leave for nothing. Let’s face it, he wasn’t able to get into the team over the last 2 years and we are now bringing in players of a higher quality to what we had back then so he’s not going to get in it now. We can’t just keep going with a squad of over 25 players, paying all those wages. We need to let players who aren’t going to play go. Plus I’m sure those players also want to be playing 30/ 40 games a season (which they won’t do here) not just sitting in the stand and maybe getting the occasional sub appearance or cup game.

13 Aug 2020 11:00:08
I like mccrorie but docherty will never be good enough. he's away to turn 24 so hardly one for the future anymore?

13 Aug 2020 11:18:15
They are not young anymore mate they are at a stage where they want to belong somewhere and play for that team. We need as strong a squad as possible and if that means Gerrard has to move two on off the wage bill to bring in one that will be in the 11 or in squad then that’s how it will have to be, we all want Scottish players to do well but fact is these guys ain’t the next Barry Ferguson or Ian durrant etc they are bang average, league one England players when we need SPL winning players and European capable players.

13 Aug 2020 11:58:44
Don’t know why people are saying keep one and not the other both aren’t good enough it’s as simple as that neither will take us to a higher level.

I would not sell them to teams in Scotland tho.

13 Aug 2020 13:17:03
Both contracted to 2022.

13 Aug 2020 13:19:21
Unfortunately both aren't good enough.
Ask yourself - who would they replace in the first team? No one.
Then ask yourself - going forward would you have them as back up or do we require better again?
Then it's a simple get rid off.

13 Aug 2020 13:34:31
Some won’t like this but coully you say they are bang average, Ryan Jack for me is average he couldn’t lace Barry Ferguson’s boots, he’s decent yes but my point is you can’t compare everyone to Barry Ferguson!

13 Aug 2020 13:57:01
Mccrorie as a backup to Jack? Yes.

13 Aug 2020 15:35:46
Highland bear ok I will compare them to what we have now

Jack-neither anywhere near
Kamara-neither anywhere near
Davis- closest to being anywhere near as Davis looking age lately
Arfield-neither anywhere near
Aribo-neither Anywhere near

Plus we are looking to sign better than the above so I’m assuming that they won’t be anywhere near that guy aswell.

13 Aug 2020 16:11:25
Must admit I thought Barry was world class. You know I don't really see what else Ryan Jack can do during a game. He covers every blade of grass, as does Kamara, linking the defence and attacking midfielders and front men. Stevie obviously rates him and Kamara very highly and so do I. Both are big game performers and I really think both are key if we are to win this title, that"s how highly I rate them.

13 Aug 2020 17:48:08
I’m not convinced that McCrorie especially isn’t anywhere near the guys you mentioned but it’s all about opinions, he’s still only 22 where was Ryan jack when he was 22? I’m just a little frustrated I guess I thought McCrorie had the tools, still do! Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

13 Aug 2020 18:51:01
So did I mate and I actually think Gerrard thought he did, but he has not done it when out on loan and not shown it in training and games when at Ibrox in gaffers eyes. When him and doc go we will see the arrival of one midfielder that will be in our 11 or squad unlike 2 guys that are not. We are trying to free up the wages.

If reports we are trying to sign Olsen are true this must spell the end for jones Stewart Murphy etc.

13 Aug 2020 10:16:57
We need a decent sized first team squad. In saying that I think Jones and docherty will be away.

13 Aug 2020 10:51:21
Jones, Docherty, Stewart and Murphy will be moved on.

13 Aug 2020 11:20:24
They will all go if there is takers, we might need to lose doc and mccrorie to free up the wages for 1 new cm and then a couple out of jones/ Murphy/ Stewart to help fund Skov Olsen. Reducing the squad but adding much better quality seems to be the plan.

Missed the game last night due to working

But came home at 1.39am this morning and watched the highlights

Looked another good all round polished performance
And great to get another win and 3 points in the board
And seeing the team build momentum

Seen headlines this morning

Doc and mcrrorie both in talk to permanently leave the club

In my honest opinion don't feel the 2 of them for a fair crack ar it under Gerrard

Can't help feel both will be a loss to the club and not slot of money going to be made from to young players who most of us thought had a big future for them at Rangers

Disappointing that the coaches didn't feel they could enhance there game and given more game time could have potentially brought them on
Especially last season when our form fell away to nightingale and Gerrard stuck with the same lot
That could have been there chance to have a fair crack at it

Any way best of luck to them both and I honestly think there careers will get better now there leaving
And we might end up seeing the potential of the 2 players now start growing again when they start getting more 1st team football.

13 Aug 2020 12:00:23
Neither will be a loss to the club they are just not good enough.

13 Aug 2020 08:40:15
Only 12 months ago the Boss was telling us big Ross McCrorie was a future Captain of the club and an excellent player. What has happened or have we moved on as I really like the lad as a player?

13 Aug 2020 09:00:08
Sad to say but clearly McCrorie hasn’t pushed on as expected. Better for him to go elsewhere and if Hibs are willing to spend whatever’s money they have then he’s more likely to play for them week in week out.

13 Aug 2020 09:00:36
I'd keep mccrorie, can do a job at CB RB CM. We are obviously going to sign another CM then👍.

13 Aug 2020 09:29:29
i ageee coldo espesh as cover for jack / kamara in CM

they are both likely to pick up suspensions and poss injuries playing in the engine room so i'd keep big ross.

13 Aug 2020 09:36:08
Don't know what is going on but I am agreeing with coldo again 🤔.

13 Aug 2020 09:37:43
Its sad to see this happening and obviously he's not progressing enough to our managers and coaches liking. Which is a great pity because i'm sure every rangers fan would love one of our own pulling on the armband as captain sitting under the picture of her majesty in our home dressing room getting the team prepared for battle and another 3 points.

13 Aug 2020 09:56:27
Told you grumpy that you'd get the hang of it😁👍.

13 Aug 2020 09:59:16
The issue I see with McCrorie is kind of what you have eluded to Coldo. He ‘can’ play at CB, CM or even RB. However he is not strong enough at any of those Individual positions. We currently have better players in all of those positions. We have 5 strong CB’s (and as we know that’s not his strongest position anyway) . He can play RB, but with our system we need attacking fullbacks who are good at taking players on and creating chances, again not his strength. His best position is probably DCM but although he is strong in the tackle, his distribution isn’t fantastic and he’s no where near as comfortable on the ball as Kamara, Jack or Davis, plus we are also looking to bring in another centre mid. Therefore, he just ain’t going to get a game.

13 Aug 2020 10:04:52
The £200k offered by Hibs is a joke and was rightly kicked into touch. Would rather we didn’t do any sort of business with them.

13 Aug 2020 10:14:08
Mccrorie is easily still good enough to play for rangers. Especially games in the premiership.

13 Aug 2020 10:36:16
Was he getting a game at Portsmouth every week? Players improve with age and experience but maybe not to the levels required. McCrorie or Docherty will not get near the team so need to go permanently for the sake of their own careers.

13 Aug 2020 10:59:57
He's not good enough.

13 Aug 2020 11:53:39
McCrorie isn’t good enough simple as that.

13 Aug 2020 12:01:41
Mr Grumpy he is obviously not good enough to play for us or he would be the manager ain’t going to play him so better to move him on.

13 Aug 2020 14:03:42
I am one of SG biggest fans but I don't know what his idea is with some of the players. 2 seasons ago mccrorie played in over 30 games, including the Europa League. I don't remember him letting us down.
We signed up some of the best young talent in Scotland in docherty, Hastie and Jones. Have any of them really had a fair crack? 🤔
As someone already has posted, SG talked about mccrorie as a potential captain, what happened?
Not buying, he/ they are not good enough for Scottish football.

Another good, professional performance last night guys and job done and now on to livingston on sunday. Regarding our 3-0 win over the perth saints last night, it again reiterated to me and probably most of you how we must at all costs keep our fantastic left back borna barisic. I totall agreed with KT in match commentary that barisic was MOTM, with his sublime free kick and fantastic assist for kent's goal. Kent did take it well though as well 👌I would also like to mention a midfielder who gets a lot of undue stick at times on here, who again last night i thought was terrific, glen kamara! He had a great game and kept everything moving with simplicity, as smooth as silk he was 👌
Again i've always rated kamara and that's his proper midfield position, where he can build the play and sees the game in front of him. He's most definitely a sitting midfielder and not a box to box midfielder, who runs beyond the striker. I always remember when we signed kamara and gerrard thanked neil mccann for the job he did, coaching kamara,
while he was the dundee manager. Mccann told gerrard that once kamara got into the rangers midfield, nobody would budge him from that position and he rated kamara that highly, that he predicted when rangers eventually sold him, he'd make rangers big money on his transfer fee 👍Hope that doesn't happen for a while yet though!
There's a good few clubs wishing to buy kamara, but i hope we resist as much as we can and don't sell him, unless its astronomical money! He's a very smooth operating midfielder, in my eyes and can never understand the constant stick this guy gets on here 🤔.

13 Aug 2020 08:26:14
Kamara was class coop, bossed the game from start to finish. I knew barasic free kick was in before he it and you're right kent's finish was class aswell. 👍.

13 Aug 2020 08:34:02
Sgl you are 100% right about Kamara. I do sometimes think he plays within himself but definitely better sitting in with game in front of him. I hope he stays as he’d be hard to replace, sometimes we don’t realise how good someone is till they’ve left.

13 Aug 2020 08:36:45
Coops, I agree Kamara was excellent last night although to be honest I have been a critic of him in the past. It was mainly down to his distribution in our own half giving the ball away (Scottish Cup game against Aberdeen at Ibrox) and a few more. But you are right he is a good player and with StevieG his mentor he can only get bette. If we do win the League and he has a descent signing and good transfer fee could be recouped✌️🇬🇧.

13 Aug 2020 08:39:06
Weve got nobody else who can dictate a game like kamara when he's on it.

13 Aug 2020 08:43:32
Well said thought Kamara was top drawer last night and I still remember when he left Scott Brown for dead at Ibrox to lay on a goal £50000 a bargain.

13 Aug 2020 08:51:41
Like I said yesterday guys Kamara is a really good player. Bgate w I don't think he plays within himself at all I honestly think its a confidence thing. With 50000 fans getting on your back when you make a sideways pass that they don't agree with its going to impact most people. It doesn't surprise me at all that he is playing better with no fans. He's an easy target for some who think that the transfer fee we paid means he's not "Rangers Class". Instead they should be thinking "How did we get a player that good for as little as we did".

13 Aug 2020 09:04:21
I think gerrard tinkering for no reason MOC is key to players losing form. 👍.

13 Aug 2020 09:27:34
Possibly Coldo, I don't disagree with that. Sometimes in football although keeping the ball and going back to start again is key to building attacks. When I'm at games I get so frustrated when you hear the groans from the stand because the ball didn't get played forward. Kamara is a master at recycling the ball and making the other team chase it but you are right with what you say.

13 Aug 2020 09:58:27
He's very good MOC. Wish he was more physical but he's a top player. 👍.

13 Aug 2020 10:58:22
Kamara looked class last night and strolled it. The only player I'm concerned about is Goldson. Again, he gave the ball away in the opposition's half and was chasing his backside trying to get back. Too many silly mistakes like that will come back and haunt us against better teams.

Some supporters need to lay off young Hagi as this boy has talent which needs to be nurtured. Confidence will play a massive part in this young 21 year old fulfilling his potential, and the last thing he needs is supporters on his back.

13 Aug 2020 13:25:20
Surely Hagi can play with a freedom without pressure just now as there is no supporters in the stadium to be on his back🤔
Maybe the same imaginary supporters need to get off Goldson's back then? 👍.
