A name passed onto me recently was Xavier Mbuyamba. In the final 6 months of his contract and I know we had enquired about him previously.

Honestly not sure, just passing on a name given to me but you could be correct.
In fairness, pretty sure someone on here said that the club were looking at players previously profiled and tracked during Koppens time. He may be one.
