Heart and hand sting close to announcing Muscat time to get right behind him when he comes after the league ends in China.
16 Oct 2025 15:24:48
He should be coming now, why are we all normalising this is the way it should be done. A club the size of ours now having to wait another 6 weeks for the new manager to arrive so he can finish the season in what is essentially a junior league.
We have massive European games and a semi final coming and still important league games.
Embarrassing.
16 Oct 2025 15:52:15
He will get my full support, Storm.
Fingers crossed for the club and all our sanity this is finally the correct appointment. ??⚪??.
16 Oct 2025 17:02:54
Cause the man has respect. You don't leave a team with 4 games to go challenging for the league.
16 Oct 2025 17:04:00
Rick they are top of the league by 2 points and 4 games to go, what manager in there right mind leaves that. says a lot about his character to stick with his team till it's done.
For arguement sake if they were 12 points ahead with 4 games to go I'd say he probably leaves knowing his job is done.
16 Oct 2025 17:07:13
Ill wait 6 weeks to get Muscat in-- not a problem. would like to have seen someone other than an under 19's coach as Interim. If we get beat or draw on saturday it won't bode well for him. thrown into the Lions den comes to mind. then there's the semi wi the timskees. too much for this lad. get neil in if he is part of km team.
16 Oct 2025 17:13:27
Being a bit disrespectful RickWitter re: the Chinese league imo. Its hardly a junior league. Their top 4 teams would turn over most teams in our SPL.
16 Oct 2025 17:16:00
Would be more worried if he jumped ship in this situation.
16 Oct 2025 17:25:01
Rick if he walked out on that club with 4 games to go and 2 points clear then I wouldn't want him.
16 Oct 2025 17:26:44
Correct highest pie but some fans just blow my mind and think Rangers are a big club worldwide (which I might upset people we aren't in grand scheme of things not anymore) I like the fact he is loyal.
I am sitting on the fence with this one but he gets my full support.
16 Oct 2025 17:34:24
So you don't remember Graeme souness then do you?
16 Oct 2025 17:48:03
He left right now, I wouldn't be impressed with that.
16 Oct 2025 18:13:54
Nothing wrong with a bit of loyalty, and finishing what he started, good trait in a man.
16 Oct 2025 18:28:18
What do we all think about Graeme Souness, he did exactly that to Rangers?
16 Oct 2025 18:36:37
Agreed Strom1, in the grand scheme of things we are not a 'big team' any more.
1 we are in a small provincial league with mo major sponsor
2 we can't compete with ' big clubs' on transfer fees or salary's
3 we have not had stability as a club for 10 years
4 we have literally won nothing of note for a long time, while other countries and teams have stretched away from us and will continue to do so, if the current situation continues.
Sorry if the truth hurts some, it hurts me!
16 Oct 2025 18:36:41
Couldnt agree more stoem going to need all help can get feom fans we need to be patient on this one.
16 Oct 2025 19:05:52
Souness tbf, offered to see out the season but David Murray told him to leave immediately.
16 Oct 2025 19:26:10
The Souness scenario was slightly different. He didn't jump ship, he offered to stay the rest of the season but Sir David Murray told him to go now, if my memory serves me right. ?.

My auld uncle just told me we got Scot Symon from East Fife via Preston and the jungle fighter Harold Davis from East Fife. nobody complained or whined.
