With Gerrard looking a stick on, what's our thoughts on the hope and expectations of Cameron and Barron under his stewardship?
He always thought highly of Ryan Jack.
Will he look at these 2 in the same light and get the best out of them?
Or will they continue to be squad players?

Should it be Gerrard i think he'll have a positive influence on all the midfielders, will be interesting to see the progress of Cameron and how he would improve Raskin also.

Personally think Cameron was a great signing, been a bit under the radar compared to other signings but the lad has all the attributes to be a great player for us.

I think they will thrive, and gary mac and possibly davis into that. An absoloute wealth of knowledge. I think the players will be over the moon martins out and even more so if they get sg and co in.

I've always thought Barron was more suited to a Jack type role rather than as a No 6, although like Jack he can do this. He needs to add a bit more going forward and some goals (again as did Jack) and who better to teach him than Gerrard . Raskin, Cameron, Diomande and Rice will all benefit from having a manager who understands their position as they did under Ferguson, to be fair.

Barron more like Jack and Cameron more like an Arfield type. I for one would be happy to have Gerrard back, i think at this moment in time he would be the best choice for a number of reasons.
Never going to please everyone but i think majority are in favour of him returning.

Don't know about those two but pretty confident that he will like Rothwell as I'm sure we were looking at him from his first spell, he will see the benefit of playing him as an 8.
And expect Raskin should improve under his guidance.

Rose, Rangers were interested in Rothwell is his Blackburn days under Gerrard mate, but he was out of our reach, Gerrard rates Rothwell, why I'm thinking he's in his three, Rothwell can play by the way, I'm thinking we'll all see a different Rothwell under Gerrard.

I think he's the man to get the best out them that's for sure mph. It's more the defence i worry about.

If it is Gerard it will be interesting to see how he sets up the midfield, as I can't see many of our current midfielders adapting to play in the system he used the last time.

He more or less played a three all the time with Davis sitting, don't see why Raskin can't play that role with plenty of options to play either side of him.

EHI - The spoofs are gone and we should have winners in the dug-out pretty soon. Solutions will be found. That's what management and coaching are all about. I'm optimistic for the first time in years.
