Devils advocate here. Can an employee publicly declare he's signed a contract at a new employer while under an existing contract which isn't due to end until December 2026.
Surely if he's announced, his contract is bought out and he starts immediately?
Has anyone seen another example of this?
Not like he's moving on at the end of an expired contract, which sounds reasonable.

KNGS it will be bought out from a period of time not immediately given the conditions of his current team league placement.
Pre-contracts are a thing.

We need him now. not an interim team till he finishes season. I think he will be a helluva lot better than ye know who. but I don't think we can wait. this could be absolutely horrendous till he arrives. may struggle for a top 5 if that's the case. on a brighter note we know he's a winner if he stays till he's won the league over there.
