A summary of Kevin Thelwell's time at Rangers:
1. Appointed his 26 year old son as head of recruitment
2. Has appointed his 31 year old ex colleague Dan Purdy as technical director
3. Is due to appoint his friend and ex colleague Jonathan Hunter Barret from Wolves as head of youth development
4. Paid £10 million + add ons for an unproven ex Everton striker
5. Paid significant loan fee and club record for loan wages to sign Djiga from his friend Matt Hobbs at his ex club Wolves
6. Has paid significant amount of money to sign Mikey Moore from his friend Johan Lange at Spurs who he worked with at Wolves.
Some of this goes beyond incompetence and actually stinks.

You forgot one:
Seemingly personally championed the recruitment of Russell Martin, the worst manager in the history of Rangers Football Club, het regarded by Thelwell as "one of the best coaches he had ever worked with".
The man has been an unmitigated disaster, yet he remains in-post.
This is 100% on the 49ers ownership.

You forgot to add buying some guy called Fernandez for £3.5m that can't even get a game in the training ground.
And the icing on the cake is he brought us Russell Martin the best coach he has ever worked with.

Im no Thelwell fan but 1 and 3 haven't happened, 4 is 8m, Djigas wage is approx £15k p/ w if we are paying in full and Thelwell probably has people he has worked with in the past at most clubs in EPL so nothing suspicious in any of this. His choice of RM was wrong and some of the clubs signings have been questionable but we don't need the drama of insinuating he's crook. Still i'd be surprised if he's still here come end of the season.
