Not sure what everyone expected, to be honest.

It seems the main candidates genuinely interested were Gerrard, Rohl, and Muscat I didn't really hear of any other top managers wanting to come, so it was never going to be a crowd pleaser. What we've got instead is a more experienced manager who's actually won things before.

A lot of people didn't want Gerrard, but now some are moaning about Muscat. Realistically, we can't say Rohl would've been any better -he's never managed up here either. At least Muscat has a few trophies on his CV.

Given all the turmoil in the squad, with players divided and some unhappy, maybe what we really need is a tough-talking manager who can get everyone working on the same page. To me, that sounds exactly like what Muscat brings a winner with real experience.

Personally, I'd have been delighted with Gerrard for my own reasons, but I'm still very happy with Muscat.

Honestly, I'm not sure who else even wanted the job right now. We need to focus on rebuilding our club's reputation, and I believe Muscat can do that and bring success back.

We just need to give him time if the fans back him, I truly think we'll see a massive turnaround in our fortunes.

It might not be the "Let's Go" I was expecting

but it's still a proud and hopeful Let's Go.!

Agree with you, top, proven managers aren't going to come to Scotland. Rangers and Celtic fans see our clubs as bigger than most others see us. Time to be realistic, we aren't attracting anything near top notch managers.

I think as well look at the wages we offer compared to some, big bucks to be made.

It's not so much a "Let's Go" Stig, more of a. "ach well a suppose a should move if a have tae"
