So if the rumours are correct and figures are what's quoted on here, Raskin 15 million, Gassama 5million and a bus fare for Rothwell that's about 20 million and I'd imagine a huge salary saving. Could the 20million be reinvested in the squad? And would we spend it wisely? Also read interest in Aasgaard? Not sure how much we could punt him for?

No question we have to reinvest it Bunster although Pirlo is that slow and knackered he probably qualifies for a free bus pass. Who's interested in Aasgaard? He's another that is hopeless, looked a player in the Champ though.

not sure how it all works but if we get 15 million for Raskin it won't be 15 up front probably instalments so not sure 15 million counts towards the available spend for january, that being said we also may be paying for players in instalments.
Like i say i'm not 100% clued up on how it works but if we sell £20m of players we probably won't have £20m to spend.

How do you know he looked a player in the championship charlie? He was literally only there 4/5 months and got relegated back to league 1 then we signed him.
He will be another that probably has interest from the championship and is young enough that we can probably recoup what we paid.
Raskin won't be sold in January even if £15m is offered, maybe if his deal expired 2027 but it doesn't and Belgium will be very good at this world cup and no doubt we know it should raise his price.

The trouble with that is, it does give us around £20million but its achieved by getting rid of and having to replace two of our better players and we are still stuck with all the ones we really want rid of. We need a midfielder along with Nico not instead of and if we sell him we need two, and Gassama for all his faults is much better than Antman and anybody else we've tried on the wing although Curtis shows promise.
Get these guys some decent players to play with and we'll see them thrive and be worth even more money.
