We should have tried playing either a back 3 with Sterling on the right and tav as wing back.
Or with 3 cm’s and Sterling dropping in to cover tav in the same way Jacko and kamara see to do under gio for tav and bb.
That’s what we need to do to get best out of tav against better wide players with strong pace.

It could be worse for us as Maeda can’t cross a ball, got an engine on him but not much technically or we would be in more trouble down our right.

Tav Needs a good defensive mid to help cover when needed - He needs to pick the correct times to attack ie no needless marauding runs and also a centre back who sniffs danger and is mobile enough to move across at right time to support if spaces occur at RB position- truth be told I don't think we have good enough players who can do that for full game so herein lies our problem from many a season - we need to be solid for first 20mins and don't turn over ball cheaply as has been done in the past OF games and CANNOT lose a farcical goal in first minute as they will come at us like a tsunami at start of game - its going to be a rocky ride imo!
