We have a real problem at number 10, cantwell has no where near the technical ability of Tom Lawrence, however Lawrence has not got the legs and ability to get around the park that cantwell does. I’d start cantwell next week and bring Lawrence on about 65 mins.

I’d play both of them. We’re lacking width because of injuries so we might as well get our best players on the park.
I’d also get Sterling back into midfield to cover Tav.

I agree, it's a position we haven't been able to nail down for a long time.
Hopefully next week we don't play a 'ten' - would like to see us play with two 'eights' instead and try and dominate the midfield.
For that to work though we'd need Dessers to to be on form and hold the ball up for the midfielders to allow the midfield to get beyond.

So what your saying here wishybear is that combining the ability of both cantwell and lawrence there's an outstanding no.10 ?I think both are talented players ?A question not only for you wishybear but for all on here is this ?Do you think we should keep tom lawrence at rangers next season and beyond ?I'm asking as there were numerous stories last week doing the rounds that he had been told to find a new club ?He scored a superb goal against Kilmarnock today and undoubtedly can score goals from the midfield ? There's nothing to choose between him and cantwell as both are talented players imo ? Cantwell obviously a few years younger.

Sir Walter I personally think we need far better than Lawrence and cantwell next season. If we got a decent fee for either I’d sell.

I’d play them both. Sterling Lundstram and Diomande as a 3 and Cantwell and Lawrence as two 10’s. Something Gerrard did a few times. Sterling and Diomande have the legs to do the roles Jack and Kamara would often do. Worth will come from Tav and hopefully Ridvan if fit anyway. We keep losing the midfield battle against them and it can’t continue. Whoever wins the midfield generally does well in these games.

both are here because nobody in england wanted them, both have talent but are flawed, they don't have a end product, altho both are capable of the occassional flash of brilliance
our team is full of them, its winners we need, , dessers was an almost comical figure today, totally unable to control any type of ball and its painful to watch,
