16 Dec 2019 23:27:43
Hi
Still can't believe, how far Rangers have come in a short spell under Gerrard.

Glad we took a chance on him, he is still learning but he could be the next best thing.

He is already turning heads around the world and will be in big demand if when he leaves Rangers.

I honestly think he will win us the league this season and seasons to come, thank god we got him.

he's getting us there.

17 Dec 2019 07:40:11
Just think - we nearly had Mcinnes- what a let off!

17 Dec 2019 02:24:02
I think we want to add that coaching team as I think they have a heavy hand in this also.

17 Dec 2019 19:33:34
we would have struggled everywhere with no advancement in club structure.

16 Dec 2019 18:59:18
Good draw both teams should get into the last 16 that will make others take notice of Scotland again I hope Rangers and Celtic go through.

16 Dec 2019 19:17:20
Nah, only us!

16 Dec 2019 19:26:41
I personally don't even think of the other lot. I just want the gers to get through.
🔴⚪🔵.

16 Dec 2019 20:09:57
Any gamblers on here any idea where i could get odds on old firm last 16. if so would meet them 3 times in a week.

16 Dec 2019 20:20:00
Paul save your money.

16 Dec 2019 21:35:04
Its obviously a long shot but i would certainly through 50 on it. More than expect both to make it through.

16 Dec 2019 22:18:33
if everything fell in line and we did get them in the last 16 could we play our home tie at wembely to maximise income from match?

16 Dec 2019 22:25:15
FTW, only Ibrox for me I'm afraid.
I wouldn't want any of our HOME ties switched to any other stadium. 🔴⚪🔵.

16 Dec 2019 23:42:44
Paul86., i like a wee bet mate, i recon most big betting shops would cover your bet, pop into any of them pal, you can only ask, odds on it would be mega, if they weren't mega, its all a big con, lol .

17 Dec 2019 05:39:59
Couldn't care less about them! Its ONLY glasgow rangers i'm interested in. Let the other mob as they do anyway, show interest in US, not the other way round with some fellow bears! F**k celtic, its all about the rangers!

17 Dec 2019 07:01:08
Don’t get this, firstly you will get odds in any betting shop and I think you probably know that, or you could simply look online, 2ndly why on earth is it a long shot that Rangers and celtic will beat Copenhagen and brags? As a longtime serious punter I would imagine around 5/ 2 - 11/ 4, not much more, really don’t know how you would think it’s a long shot?

17 Dec 2019 07:22:21
In what dream land do you think the police would allow us to randomly play at wembley hahahahahah.

17 Dec 2019 09:14:24
Tomster for me the long shot is drawing each other in round of 16, not the Qualifying.

17 Dec 2019 11:43:44
Rangers v Smellies in London? You mad.

17 Dec 2019 14:34:33
John25, i thought like yourself that tomster was asking bookies for the odds on rangers v celtic in next draw, is that not what you meant tomster55?

16 Dec 2019 17:57:31
Good draw and I fancy us to proceed. But how many times do we see these euro teams not doing so well in their domestic league but still seem to perform in euro competition. They won a decent group scoring in every match, we must not underestimate them and try and stop the away goal at ibrox.

16 Dec 2019 18:55:08
Top scorers in the group stage, most shots converted to goals. Undefeated and topped a group with Wolves. We can do it but it won't be easy.

16 Dec 2019 19:28:58
We will need to be playing high tempo and well organised at the back to come up trumps against them but I'm sure its possible.
🔴⚪🔵.

17 Dec 2019 07:02:09
Not easy at all, a team primed for europa and very dangerous,

16 Dec 2019 14:46:03
really hope that ryan kent proves that he is worth the 7 million we paid for him, after all he is our second most expensive buy ever.

16 Dec 2019 15:23:19
He will come good when his confidence improves and he gets among the goals. He is certainly talented, just heavy weight on his shoulders at moment.

16 Dec 2019 16:43:36
he is trying a bit too hard at moment. just needs to relax a bit more and let it flow better.

16 Dec 2019 16:47:08
sir ryan ---the stepover king of the half way line lol.

16 Dec 2019 18:29:07
Apparently Kent nearly missed cup final with calf issue, getting jags to play till winter break.

16 Dec 2019 19:01:32
That might explain his lack of taking players on for pace, it's not good carrying an injury when pace is your main asset.

17 Dec 2019 11:19:44
Think of all the weight of carrying Coldo's endorsement on his shoulders.

16 Dec 2019 14:23:20
In a customers house, a Celtic supporter and he was going on about Rangers easy draw in Europe

After listening to him for 5 mins I asked him who Celtic got and he said, I've not checked yet, then carried on for a bit more about our easy draw.

16 Dec 2019 15:43:58
Either made up or you are very gullable.

16 Dec 2019 16:35:55
Myles, Sitting in the house with no work having a look at Rangers Rumours? You couldn’t make it up😭🇬🇧🇬🇧.

16 Dec 2019 19:32:08
Belter yately01 👍
All about the famous. 🔴⚪🔵.

16 Dec 2019 19:34:58
My mate at work was too busy watching the rangers game yesterday that he FORGOT Celtic were playing at home and he's a season ticket holder.
Missed the game because of it.
All about the rangers
100% true fact.

16 Dec 2019 13:22:17
Feel like the draw has been very kind to us. Obviously there won't be any easy games/ teams at this stage of the competition but i think considering they are 9th in their domestic league then this is a draw we could come out on top over the two legs especially if we play how we all know we can.

16 Dec 2019 13:36:35
Cant really call anything in european games but there were far far tougher teams would could have been pulled out against us. Hopefully full team is fit and if we play the way we played against porto then we should be able to beat them home and away.

16 Dec 2019 13:48:32
If we play as well as we can. We can get a win against braga.

16 Dec 2019 14:08:14
Summed up by the 3 lads above, we defeated Porto who are far superior to Braga, but, as per normal, we won't anticipate anything and just do our usual job.

16 Dec 2019 14:12:02
Agree if we play well we can win comfortably.

Only issue is that we are not playing with confidence at the moment - Kent needs to regain his form and we need Davis back.

16 Dec 2019 14:40:47
They qualified with 14 points and no defeats. Won't be straight forward. We will need to be on top of our game.

16 Dec 2019 15:33:02
Correct coi. However, we get 500000 for being runner up.
Now we will get another full house, circa 2 million, then if we can win tie another 1 million.
This does not include share of tv money for last 32.
Eac roux we play in knockout stage can be worth 3-5 million.
Money we do need.

16 Dec 2019 16:00:47
A really good chance to get to the last 16 but this mob are no mugs and we will need to be on our game.

The big negative is no Ryan Jack for our home tie. Wrap Davis in cotton wool.

16 Dec 2019 13:18:50
What's happened to Coldo I enjoyed his posts and had some disagreements at times but he was like SGL totally committed
👍👍.

16 Dec 2019 13:31:29
Some say he left (By foot) 2 weeks ago, heading for Liverpool, in a bid to convince them to recall Sheyi Ojo?

16 Dec 2019 13:35:28
Bbs I was thinking the same. But noticed he had posted on the Rumours page on the 14th, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇦🇺⚽️👍😎.

16 Dec 2019 13:50:00
Don't worry about coldo, he'll be back 👍.

16 Dec 2019 14:08:05
Whilst in Liverpool he might be asking them to take back his boy Kent as well!

Strange that his favourites never receive criticism for poor form when he repeatedly points out others poor form!

16 Dec 2019 14:20:17
Not commenting due aribo out performing kent. And kamara basically getting jack sent off v young boys with giving away posession again.

16 Dec 2019 14:30:30
He’ll be back when Kent has a good game.
Here’s a thumbs up in true Coldo fashion to get you lads by👍.

16 Dec 2019 15:34:11
Hope coldo returns soon and is well, don’t agree with some of his views but he does add to this site.

16 Dec 2019 15:45:46
He embarrassed himself by saying a cup final against Celtic was meaningless! 🤡
Don’t think he’ll ever recover from that and the fact the love of his life - Kent - is being outplayed by a £300K buy from Charlton in Aribo! 😂.

16 Dec 2019 16:36:53
Totally Pac-Man 😀🇬🇧.

16 Dec 2019 17:05:39
Thinks kamara is our best midfielder👍.

16 Dec 2019 18:01:46
Coldo's been on a couple of times lately. He'll be back!

16 Dec 2019 12:39:13
Folks flights stanstead to Porto on Wednesday return Friday Gatwick 58 each person easyjet
Boojed.

16 Dec 2019 18:33:05
I was looking earlier john one of the boys was straight on fone about it. No holidays left at work would have to take it unpaid n it is not long after xmas. Gony drop some not so subtle hints to the good lady later lol.

16 Dec 2019 19:19:17
Herewego, flights now 250 per person.

16 Dec 2019 13:14:09
Well folks what do we think of the draw Braga at home I really think we can make it to the last 16 we've beaten Porto so don't see why we couldn't beat Braga?

16 Dec 2019 18:33:36
Remember its 2 legs mate 👍.

16 Dec 2019 13:17:40
Now that Rod the fraud has been called out by the green brigade, should we accept him back, given he was a massive bluenose in the past? Yeah I get it that he's an enormous dobber, but some of his songs are catchy. It's a tough one. Maybe a poll? I'm inclined to say no and let Thistle have him tbh.

{Ed033's Note -

Rod Stewart Poll

16 Dec 2019 16:31:10
Of course we take him back a convert to the cause they would be ragin. And his wife's tidy too.

16 Dec 2019 19:45:05
Are you for real gooner?
No chance would I welcome him at ibrox. 🔴⚪🔵.

17 Dec 2019 11:29:06
BluebellAndy, nah was just having a bit of a chuckle at Rod the prod and his pretend love of a club whose poisoned political beliefs he completely misjudged. I do like some of his tunes though, and he's banged some absolute belters. There's a degree of respect, but not enough to welcome him back.

16 Dec 2019 11:00:05
Probably get some stick for this, but Katic sometimes seems TO EAGER to win high balls. Reminds me of a certain Mr Amoruso.

16 Dec 2019 13:03:21
Got to have that desire to win them 87 . how can one be to eager? He scored a goal . if he wasn’t he might not have and who knows what might have been.

16 Dec 2019 14:08:12
Cannot believe you would not have another Amoruso.

16 Dec 2019 14:14:05
I'll say again, Katic showed the threat he is at set pieces, as did Borna, all set pieces around the box should be Borna from the left, and Jack from the right. Penalty kicks should be Borna or Arfield.

16 Dec 2019 14:47:12
irvger, Tav will back on form and confidence soon.

Wasn't long ago his crossing and free kicks were winning games for us.

As soon as Alf scores one against Celtic there will be many more against them - Penalities are probably his for now.

16 Dec 2019 09:23:12
Cant wait for the next 2 games. Managed to get a ticket for the game against celtic. Cost me a fortune but worth it. this is how my xmas is going to be

1. On friday enjoy a few beers with the lads n the missus while rangers beat hibs.

2. Xmas day with my sons

3. 29th december - head to parkhead with an old pair of shoes on (only place you have to wipe your feet on the way out) watch the famous beat Celtic. morelos WILL score that day. and do you know why? Missus asked me what i wanted for xmas. i says rangers to win at parkhead and morelos to score. she's never let me down before at xmas.

🇬🇧lets go🇬🇧in gerrard we trust🇬🇧.

16 Dec 2019 10:27:13
I'm hoping Santa can give the bears a nice early Christmas present and pair us up with Lask or Istanbul in the Europa draw today.

16 Dec 2019 10:31:11
Hope your right!

16 Dec 2019 10:59:52
Id be wary of lask geromino had some crackin results and going toe to toe with salzburg in the league, malmo or gent for me.

16 Dec 2019 11:37:54
Id love a go at man utd and i'm sure our manager would too👍.

16 Dec 2019 13:06:22
Well done stop the 9 . been to Parkhead once . never again . stay safe . loved the bit about your shoes 👍.

16 Dec 2019 13:22:56
Hope you have a great time stop the 9. And btw the answer was Jim Baxter!

16 Dec 2019 13:15:04
Braga it is boys . let’s go.

16 Dec 2019 13:17:24
Braga, great draw and one that is very much winnable. Now back down to business before Christmas.

16 Dec 2019 13:22:28
Braga or gent for me.

16 Dec 2019 14:11:05
Ha got your wish John, any ideas on the lottery this week?
On another note Alfie deserved his yellow for incitement. we’ve got to be honest here . you can’t get away with that in the heat of the moment. Ok the Celtic did it but that was after the game . I honestly think however that Alfie didn't realise how provocative it was. He knows now.

Another thing if he wants a move down to England surely learning English can only help him . Sometimes think he’s a bit daft at times but hey he’s my hero and has been from day one. remember on here defending him at the start . love him . he’s much more of a talisman than they have . A huge character. now feared in Europe.

16 Dec 2019 14:17:37
John25, you off to Portugal for X'mas, or are you planning for the Braga game, either way enjoy mate.

16 Dec 2019 14:21:44
Enjoy the game. I really hope it aas another rangers man selling the ticket and its cost u a fortune nothing quite like ripping off your own.

16 Dec 2019 14:25:18
Yes agree with u molsgoals re Alf, hopefully only a blip.

16 Dec 2019 14:29:14
When has stop the 9 ever been right lol?
He can't even get his name right as he thinks we are on 4.

16 Dec 2019 15:58:48
Irvger Dubai new year then Braga February for two nights to see the rangers game.

17 Dec 2019 00:06:13
Molsgoals, do you honestly still not think alfie doesn't speak or understand our lingo, c'mon mate, get your thinking head on, lol.

16 Dec 2019 09:13:30
This regular "The world and the BBC are against us" attitude is embarrassing for a club such as ours.

Whilst I don't believe it is the case, if it was we should take it as a complement and get on and do our thing regardless.

We have a problem with inconsistent refereeing - all clubs win and lose on these decisions.

Lets worry about what we do - fix the sectarianism and abuse of our players by our own fans to start with.

16 Dec 2019 13:10:00
👍well said DK.

16 Dec 2019 13:54:29
Dk19. , don't know about the world being against us lol, but the s. f. a. And the media do there bit, just need to watch sportsceene to know there is some truth in it, i. m. o.

A To Z: AFC Bournemouth

16 Dec 2019 07:39:02
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, A To Z: AFC Bournemouth

16 Dec 2019 01:52:20
Absolutely made up for Katic today. Hopefully gerrard sees that he deserves to keep his spot. Another solid performance from Borna, hopefully that's Aribo no kicking into gear and showing up what he can do. Certainly has great quick feet. Arfield looking far better in the mid 3 than out wide. Stewart in for Kent v Hibs imo. Wee kenty just not doing the business. Hopefully gets back to it soon. Also good to see polster get a wee run out today.

16 Dec 2019 06:33:52
I like big katic but at times and it did happen on a couple of occasions yesterday again, he comes too far out of position to try and win headers from crazy areas! That then leaves space in behind where he should be,
for the opposition to exploit and it did happen yesterday. He needs to brush up on that and his decision making at times, as there's a really good centre half in him.

16 Dec 2019 07:41:08
I agree sg loyal love the big man but he was too keen at times yesterday. Sometimes just needs to hold his position and let others deal with things. Delighted he got his goal and you csn see he loves it.

16 Dec 2019 09:04:09
no matter how bad Katic's decision making is, it will always be better than Goldston's.

16 Dec 2019 09:24:22
Agreed SGL. But due to pace i still have far more confindence in him than Helander.

16 Dec 2019 09:37:25
His distribution is also horrendous at times. He’s not the superstar he’s made out to be by some on here.
But there’s no denying the big mans passion and commitment for the jersey which I love. 👍🔴⚪️🔵.

16 Dec 2019 13:10:19
Spot on DEEB. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇦🇺⚽️👍😎.

16 Dec 2019 13:12:19
Thought Kent had a good game against Motherwell definitely a better shout than Stewart. for me.

16 Dec 2019 13:19:33
Mr Pacman, Katic is a young player who is developing well, I agree re his heading at times and passing.
I feel that’s why not a fixture in the team. The manager sees it every day in training.
Goldston despite the moaners on here is our best CH . Helander reads a game very well, Edmundson has potential to be the best.
Also as a guy who does not think tav is good enough, he is playing well just now and defending much better last few weeks.

15 Dec 2019 23:56:49
So Stewart or Defoe against the spoonburners? Personally I would go with Stewart and see if he takes his chance in a high press.

16 Dec 2019 07:42:05
Got to be defoe. Best finisher we have and we won't get as many chances Friday.

16 Dec 2019 11:39:23
Correct, Stewart all day for me.

15 Dec 2019 23:51:24
Pleaae stop defending the indefensive actions of morellos
He needs to get a grip like it or not
Shame as he a great striker.

16 Dec 2019 09:10:13
Sorry tilla, its you that needs to get a grip, how many times have players and managers of other teams made gestures to us, at home and away, with no censure what so ever? Do we need a list of gestures that you can give. Is the shoosh gesture OK or the hands at the ears perhaps or no gestures at all? Some are happy to sit back at let them kick us others get annoyed when it happens you've made your position clear that's fair enough but don't get angry at the rest of us who are frustrated to say the least!

16 Dec 2019 10:12:56
Not sure how Morelos actions can be defended. (forget the they did this so we did that - does not make it right and large clubs should not lower their standards because of what others do).

Had he cupped his ear after scoring then he would be showing how he silences critics etc. Cheeky but not provocative. I get the adrenalin flowing and the tension release.
Running to celebrate with your own fans - again, not a problem (they paid good money to follow the club - and help pay his wages - so why not? )

The guy ran to the opposition fans arm fist pumping, which could have caused a worse reaction than it got. That is not acceptable from any player at any club.
Players know the rules and consequences before they step on the field of play (as do managers).

No doubt my name here will get me the "what about Broony" etc. but, like I said, unacceptable behaviour by any player from any team.

16 Dec 2019 10:18:21
It was a second yellow card and he was going to get sent off a mile away. He was niggling all game. Stevie should have pulled him.

16 Dec 2019 10:18:37
Not angry at anyone mate can assure you
I firmly have a grip on reality.

16 Dec 2019 10:35:14
Theres no one disagreeing tim but what you are saying is that some gestures are fine and others are not. I can name two players sent off for gestures BOTH Rangers players remember the disgrace that was Halliday seeing red against morton.

16 Dec 2019 11:07:24
Fair point tilla, you think we are being treated the same as every other team I dont, let agree to disagree.

16 Dec 2019 13:21:40
3 jyf mate, don't forget candies getting sent on for blowing anton Ferdinand a kiss.

16 Dec 2019 13:04:50
Jyf -
I am saying that.
Years back I watched Gazza playing a pretend flute - never bothered me or a lot of my friends (red hot 'Tic fans) one bit. We thought it was hilarious.
The time he gestured to the ref with his dropped cards - again hilarious.

I would have no problem with a player scoring then putting his hand to his ear.
What Morelos did went way beyond any of that and the message was quite clear (he ran towards the opposing fans for goodness sake).

The players are not angels and they get passionate but they have to temper that with common sense.
Needless red card and now his services are lost.

16 Dec 2019 18:48:02
You print up your list then tiny Ill print mine. Have other players had such silly bookings? We are actually in agreement to a degree here.

15 Dec 2019 23:31:49
Watching sport scene think it’s funny how they show all of Morelos’s incidents but boy the tackle on him when the player got booked looked like a bad tackle from where I was sitting.

16 Dec 2019 00:06:33
Kent has to go back to basics as he will be a stand out if he does, take a ball with his in step, pass it normally and forget all the fancy touches and skills. Go back to basics, you don't need half of that rubbish to beat a team like Motherwell .

He's trying too hard to be our main man. Stop moving inside and filling others spaces and stay wide and go man for man and do your thing. He's frustrating the life our of me. He's getting criticism and rightly so for trying to be too much of a game changer. He's not ready to be a no. 10 yet . opinions?

16 Dec 2019 13:16:04
Thought he played well against Motherwell.

17 Dec 2019 00:14:16
Scotty123, its now known kent was playing with an, injury, mate, pain kiling jags.
