Lots of knowledgeable media saying Brighton are preparing a bid for Tav., I think you all know I'm a great fan of him up here. I think he may struggle down south, pure energy and enthusiasm won't get the job done in the EPL, if he does indeed go, hope I'm wrong wish him all the best. Reasonable price tag? to us he's worth at least £15-20m even at that we will not replace him. Just get a very good right back, our defence improves, and hope the rest of the team can produce some of his assists. Wow a serious post from me I just impressed myself.

1.) 25 Jul 2019 19:31:29
Honestly mate, at least £50m, this transfer should be close to a world record transfer fee for a defender. How this guy isn’t on 50 caps for England is beyond me, he is honestly the best player ever to play at Ibrox.

2.) 25 Jul 2019 21:58:15
Thats why we can't take you seriously bluepete 15-20mil😂😂😂👍.

3.) 25 Jul 2019 22:36:34
Tav worth about three million.

4.) 26 Jul 2019 00:56:02
John 25. £3m for tav are you for real he's worth at least £15m.

5.) 26 Jul 2019 01:15:53
Johns a tim. Sick of folk raggin on tav. Name another fullback never mind in british or european football WORLD football that scores as many or assists as many goals as tav does? and we got him for a mere 100k 200k for him and waggy so a split it ok. Wan baw sacka went for 50 damn million tavs head and shoulders above him he's hardly a worldy. Tierney they want 25 for a guy whos scored 5 goals in his whole celtic career his final ball is a punt Tavs got nearly 50 goals for us and probably triple that in assists in 4 years n uve got john25 sayin he's only worth 3 million 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️.

6.) 26 Jul 2019 02:44:31
I think £115, 218,216.12.

7.) 26 Jul 2019 08:29:55
Tav must be worth 12-15m if down south up here we will get 8-10. should tell them to beat it. we won't replace his assists with a regular right back.
Imagine joining a Rangers rumours page when your not a supporter. obsessed man.

8.) 26 Jul 2019 09:21:55
Harhun who u referring to?
Quality reply brogue, he must be a Tim, I have attended in excess of 2,000 Gers games, how many for u?
Also clocked up my 100 euro tie last season, what about you?.

9.) 26 Jul 2019 09:30:05
We will get at least 8m no more than 10 with some add ons I'd imaging.

10.) 26 Jul 2019 09:48:13
Hope you're right frustrated, I have my doubts. Not sure he would cut it in epl.

11.) 26 Jul 2019 10:24:07
Ok your not a Tim but your valuation of Tav is absolute magumba.

12.) 26 Jul 2019 11:46:42
Tav is rotten. £6m would be a sensible and fair price for him.

13.) 26 Jul 2019 12:35:54
Sharpshooter all about opinions mate.

14.) 26 Jul 2019 17:57:25
2000+ rangers games? At 20 games a season that's over 100 years. You're doing well still being able to type for a man who is about 110.

15.) 26 Jul 2019 18:40:20
Shawlands try every home game and away game from 1968 till 2010 all home games since,
All home Europe ties, 100 away Europe ties
Multiple friendliest, Glasgow cup league cup Scottish cup dryburgh cup tea coffee cup etc makes over 2000 for a man in his sixties
I have not counted reserve or age group.

16.) 26 Jul 2019 18:43:18
For some of our other members how often have u seen the rangers live, SGL I suspect your number is high.

17.) 26 Jul 2019 19:21:58

Don’t think we can question your commitment to the Gers and agree with your valuation of TAV. He is worth£3m to anyone buying a player from Scotland and if he played in the championship inEngland someone might pay £10m. Even though he has done well for us there is good reason why he left Newcastle and cost us £200k - he cannot defend if we got anything upwards of 3m I would take it tommorrow.

18.) 26 Jul 2019 19:56:11
MOLS must admit it was a bit tongue in cheek. However he won’t hack it in EPL or go on to win England caps.
His value is what a team is prepared to pay and what we will accept.
I agree he is a poor defender, I note he is sitting back more so far this season.

19.) 26 Jul 2019 20:24:30
Enthusiasm? Tav? Not on the park most of the time during games . trudges about like he’s lost his dummy. ok when he scores or we score he’s happy and I think he has a good crack off the park . but that is where a lot of his mistakes come from . when his head goes down. rather than picking up on sharpness.

11 Jul 2019 18:08:26
Towards the end of last season I posted a joke post about selling Morelos and buying Olie McBurnie and Kent. Bryan1978 has just posted a Permanent Kent move is on. Now the guy who told me we were going to sign Goldson a good 2 weeks before it hit the media, my one and only real rumour, has told me its true. He told me we were still working on Roofe but that Kent deal agreed at £7m. No mention of McBurnie / sniff.

1.) 11 Jul 2019 18:51:31
kent playing for liverpool tonight.

2.) 11 Jul 2019 18:55:08
Absolute no danger we are paying 7mill for Kent. Any deal will be a loan deal. Pretty sure about that.

3.) 11 Jul 2019 19:24:28
Absolutely no danger we're getting Defoe, absolutely no danger we're paying 4m for a Swedish defender nobody has heard off, absolutely no danger we're getting 15m for Morelos, and on and on and on.

4.) 11 Jul 2019 19:28:26
Morelos played for us on Tuesday, means nothing, if a bit comes in that Liverpool feel is enough to let him go then he'll be a Rangers player.

5.) 11 Jul 2019 20:44:02
Rumour (noun) - a currently circulating story or report of uncertain or doubtful truth.

Some folk forget that on here Bryan. Just ignore it.

6.) 12 Jul 2019 08:27:51
Well said Blue 89!
I love a good rumour, obviously we all poke holes in them when they appear far fetched or at least unrealistic but don’t understand when people totally disregard rumours that are plausible.

Anyway loving the 8 pieces (soon) of the jigsaw Stevie G has added already, and the timely fashion so hopefully they will have gelled a fair bit for the later qualifiers providing we are in them and our opening few games in league.

7.) 12 Jul 2019 08:28:38
can’t see Kent coming for 7 million and he ain’t worth that anyway.

8.) 12 Jul 2019 10:34:54
Gannet 10. Kent 4 million max.

9.) 12 Jul 2019 14:46:47
McBurnie is exactly the kind of player I'd like if Morelos goes, unfortunately I think his career is in England for the time being.

10.) 12 Jul 2019 19:41:45
when gerrard say morelos won't go late. i think he is having a little joke as in. the premierships window closes before the rest of europe and only a prem team could afford him and that's were mo sees himself playing.

21 May 2019 11:34:33
Shoot the messenger if you like. Just back from Bedford and in the Hotel chatting football and a guy asked that we keep our hands off Ian Toney. Told the guy I'd never heard of him and he was adamant Rangers had been scouting him.

1.) 21 May 2019 11:43:32
Sorry should have added the guy was a Posh fan.

2.) 21 May 2019 12:31:48
I think you mean Ivan Toney ex Newcastle Utd Striker who signed a long term deal with Peterborough last summer for a fee believed to be aroung £650,000. Scored 19 goals in all competitions last season.

10 May 2019 15:28:19
Not a real rumour, I have no sources, but read we may be interested in Axel Tuanzebe (sp) . My step-brother, who knows nothing about football, how could he, he supports Man U. Anyway he rates the lad very highly. He missed half of last season with a broken foot but on his comeback he played every week on loan to Aston Villa. Very mobile and fast good awareness and passing range. I watch Hull and Aston Villa on Tv and the lad impressed me.

1.) 10 May 2019 17:40:20
There is ABSOLUTELY no chance of that mate, he is going back to Utd to be involved next year and that's from the mouth of Ole on MUTV.

2.) 10 May 2019 21:45:10
Your step brother knows nothing about football buts rated him highly? So why would you listen to him then.

02 Apr 2019 08:28:54
Anyone watch Polish football? Being reported that we are looking at Adam Buksa!8 games 9 goals 4 assists decent stats 22 so good age. With him being 1.9 m so aerial threat I'd guess. Just passing on what I read.

1.) 02 Apr 2019 11:52:28
80 games in career, 20 goals, will be one of hindered names mentioned.

2.) 02 Apr 2019 12:43:31
Blue pete, my best mate is polish and he says there are some genuinely cracking players over there and like scotland these players are quite highly under rated. Robert Gumny is another player i think looks good in polish football. Cracking young Right back who can defend i might and.

3.) 02 Apr 2019 15:30:11
Thanks Yogi just seen a pic of Buska OMFG it would be a hard call between him and Morelos in a Gurning competition and Jboy as I said 18 games 9 goals this season lad must be improving.

4.) 02 Apr 2019 16:24:20
Blue. Looks like an 8, with exclamation mark. However, I'm correct with 20 in 80.

I read we were looking for a right wing player in Jan. I much prefer us bringing in young players, looking at Scotland we have Hastie, probably the best young one here Hearts Morrison probably second best imo neither good enough. Anything from England will most likely be over-priced I don't watch much European footie anymore so you guys have anyone in mind?

1.) 13 Nov 2019 15:22:00

2.) 13 Nov 2019 21:37:17
Kai Kennedy and Josh McPake😉.

3.) 13 Nov 2019 22:03:56
Kai Kennedy left sided, mcpake can’t get a game at Dundee so not ready yet.

4.) 14 Nov 2019 07:57:46
Ikpeazu, a monster up front and holds the ball well.

16 Sep 2019 07:59:36
Stupid question time, now that we are back and some of us delusional enough to think we can really challenge this year, and yes I include myself, Would you have rather we missed the ride through the lower leagues? I'm not sure I would, some great memories through the hard times.

1.) 16 Sep 2019 09:35:45
It’s had its good points and bad points. Should never have happened in the first place and was horrible at times. Still think if we’d tried to stick with more youth players than bringing in folk like Nicky Clarke we could be in a better position now than what we are. And it’s caused a lot of ill feeling towards icons like McCoist, for mistakes made in his very first managerial experience.

On the other side, think it’s unified the support more than ever before.

Big picture though, yes I would gladly have avoided it. Think it’s set Scottish football back a great deal (not that the other clubs would admit it) and bred a lot of bitterness at the same time which is contributing to the crowd troubles that keep cropping up.

2.) 16 Sep 2019 10:51:57
Yes stupid question very good.

3.) 16 Sep 2019 10:58:00
I could have lived without it. I don't think any of us who believe we can topple Celtic this season are delusional. That accusation is simply self defeatist. We have a great squad.

4.) 17 Sep 2019 12:18:33
Should never have happened?
So u think its ok to do what you did and get straight into the top division?

02 Sep 2019 17:01:30
We were poor all over yesterday, usually players who control the ball well finding their first touch punting the ball 2 yards away, passing generally horrific.
Lets (through gritted teeth) give some respect to Celtic and dare I sat lennon Kicking the ball into touch from the kick-off and then full on pressing us, just as we did to them last season, rattled our lads imo. I don't understand our set up, without width, but it was wrong. Best team on the day won. What hurts more than anything is the best team did not have to play well to beat us.

1.) 02 Sep 2019 17:45:35
Spot on blue Pete. Set up was all wrong. Thing is, can these players in big games turn it on when they are favourites. Learning curve I hope.

06 Aug 2019 10:03:46
Hate posting like this, I'm an optimist by nature, No glossing over no excuses after a great pre-season we were very poor against Progres both legs, yes we should/ could have scored a lot more at Ibrox still we were poor. Killie didn't even show up in the first half and again we looked clueless they got confidence from our ineptitude and gave us a hard time in the second half. I put it down to our new signings too many new players to integrate easily has our squad strengthened in depth? undoubtedly, has our best 11 improved? on the evidence so far NO. Jack Kamara and Davis our still our best mids Aribo has shown flashes so give him time. Our front 3 are diminished greatly by the loss of Kent. Ojo has again shown flashes but for a big lad if someone in the crowd sneezes he's on the deck. SG said Hastie was going nowhere till he'd seen him, he's not going to see much if he don't play him. Early days but hoping for a big improvement or and 2 new signings of REAL QUALITY.

1.) 06 Aug 2019 12:04:40
Good post Bluepete36. Yes, why not give Hastie a run? He looks big and strong and can score goals.

2.) 06 Aug 2019 12:16:11
Understand Hastie is receiving special attention and development in training. If goes well he will be progressed to the bench in September.

3.) 06 Aug 2019 12:36:39
I think we will get 2 signings before closes, definitely one. I think they will be wingers.

For me Kent is coming. I would love to see McPake get his chance, the lad is of a high calibre.

We are weaker than last season, I think that’s clear. Candeias was a sore one for me, I like the lad a lot. He wasn’t perfect however he was also only £950k not £9.5m!

Ojo will step up in the bigger games when the game is more open, that’s his type of game not Kilmarnock.

4.) 06 Aug 2019 12:47:20
McPake is going out on loan, couple of Scottish Championship teams fighting it out.

5.) 06 Aug 2019 14:36:13
I can see is getting Kent until January at which point Liverpool will try and sell him again.

Thankfully our window doesn’t close on Thursday and I can see us adding at least one forward thinking player.

6.) 06 Aug 2019 14:41:53
Agreed bluepete 👍.

7.) 06 Aug 2019 17:06:19
Mcpake to a scottish championship team on loan? Better playing for the reserves than that league tbh.

08 Jul 2019 19:44:06
Hate to say "I told you so" but how good were Mayo and McPake? TOLD YOU SO. Ok everybody and their dogs were tipping them both actually my daughters dog Kaori don't rate Mayo but she's French.

1.) 08 Jul 2019 22:26:14
McPake for me should be keeping Kent away. I like Kent, one of the best loans in Rangers history. However McPake, for me, has all the promise in the world to be one of the biggest things to come out of our club.

2.) 09 Jul 2019 06:12:58
I think Ojo will score more goals than Kent did, it would be be nice to have both though!

3.) 09 Jul 2019 08:53:05
Not being negative. it's nice to have youth in the team and I'm an advocate for it. We need to let these boys get their selves through the first team dressing room door before we hype them up too much. They look promising but will be raw and we've had too many child prodigies ending up in obscurity. Give them time. We'll done to the staff for getting the youth to the point where we can argue about it though.

Buzzing for today though.

4.) 10 Jul 2019 00:01:50
McPake played about 10 minutes before going off, showed a lovely bit of skill but a bit early for the I told you sos. Mayo is nowhere near ready for the first team.

5.) 10 Jul 2019 00:04:32
He did get a red in that villareal game but yeh Gerrard said in presser that its due to numbers. Better players a head of him basically.

No I won't stop slating, what I believe are very poor signings, and I'll tell you why. I was opposed to Flanagan signing, not for football reasons, I was appalled at us signing Lafferty. Now since they have been Rangers players find a post of mine that disses either of them. You can't cause i refuse to slag them when they are ours.

With my super human powers I popped into the future and sadly I forgot the lads name. So with my superior brain I thought about it. Then the wife said "If you don't get your super ass into the garden and sort it yer dead" So i'm off gardening.

When your team plays well, as ours have most games this year, expectations rise we expect it when we play truly exceptional stuff, as against Porto we love it and want that every week. Having said that It's not unreasonable to expect better than we played against Motherwell I never have nor ever will boo my team or any of the players but I do expect better.
