I reckon games like yesterday are the type of game where a forward like shankland would have came in useful.

Most semi decent players bar the ones on the pitch would've came in useful yesterday. This warm weather training nonsense in Dubai or wherever else needs patched. They've came back from a feckin pampered holiday and look devoid of any hunger or desire. It's not good enough and needs sorted asap or our title challenge will be humped by end of February.

Agree re Shankland but united won't sell to us. He was scoring goals for fun for Ayr and was worth a shout when available there. The Dubai trip clearly isn't working as we seem to continually return badly from the 3 Week break. Perhaps a trip to Gullane sands might be more appropriate for next year and improve their fitness.

Our midfield couldn't cope yesterday never in control at anytime, not enough going forward and woeful tracking back, now with this injury to jack, why are we trying to ship young Greg Doherty, we've stuck some duds in all over the outfield in recent weeks and this lad who is a baller who can make things happen, personally I'd be keeping him, act in haste repent at leisure.

Shankland is a no-brainer at this point, would have given their centre halves more trouble than Defoe yesterday. And Docherty deserves his chance now as the likes of Kamara are not doing enough to keep the jerseys.

I agree regarding Docherty as well and while i had a bad feeling about yesterday, hindsight is a great thing! If Gerrard did play him, Paterson etc and it was the same performance/ result then he'd have been slaughtered. The brunt of the criticism from yesterday has been aimed at the players and rightly so! I hope heads are rolling at the team meeting today! They need to get their act together pronto man.

scumdee won't get anywhere near 3mill for shankland, if he stays till end of season and they go up he will struggle to score as many goals in top division, his price will plummett, he will end up the same as nicky clark and would be a knee jerk buy, think we would be better getting someone on loan with a view to buy if he works out.

I'd try an 11th hour swap deal with some of our dead wood to get Shankland after all he'd give us that bit of extra will power with him being a blue nose as well and tbh from what I've seen on the training videos ect something doesn't sit right with Jones he seems to be a classic "I'm at a big club I've made it" seems to act like Billy big balls always mucking about and not fully concentrating on his training don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong g with having a muck about and a laugh in work but he always seems to be at it and mabey that's what Gerrard sees and that's why he's not starting games he needs to screw the nut and knuckle down and let us really see if he's good enough to play for the famous glasgow rangers? For me he just doesn't show he wants it enough and someone needs to have a work in his ear back in the day somone like Ian Ferguson would have put him in his place.

People keep going on about how we need a new right sided forward/ winger or mabey another striker we have Greg Stewart to play as a forward I know he's not everyone's cup of tea and some don't think he's good enough to play for us but I do and think if he was given an extended run in the side as a forward.

So what would happen if in a game one of the kids jumps and heads the ball when in the air as sometimes it's a natural instinct when playing football does the other team get a free kick does the kid get a yellow similar to when a handball occurs? That would just turn kids away from playing I think but as it's been medically proven there must be something else they can do.

I'm just worried about who comes in to replace injured players I would be had Flanners in her minutes on hemis legs it's great to see boys from the academy getting a chance in the team but those really isn't the sesont to be doing that we need a trophy at the end of the season in saying that young Patterson had a very decent game. By the way I would've had flanners just. Ecause of his experience and to get game time in his legs.

Something like the retro style one we wore in Div 3 I'd go for or for 1 season only move away from the royal blue to white tops with a light blue star like the Gallant Pioneers were wearing mabey with the RFC Crest inside the star or vice versa a light blue top with a white star.
