Mistaken last night regarding Jones and Kamara, but Gerrard and team HAVE to change the formation. Shambles again. Throwin polster under the bus is a fekn joke. Tav and goldson make mistakes every game, but they play on. This new money coming in sounds good, but I think the new investors might not support the current staff. Not one trophy in two years. European qualification and progression is a massive incentive though. In 6 months I think things will look very different.

Rossco, I'm a pro Gerrard fan, but I agree that blaming Polster was shocking, and, I now believe that therein lies a possible reason for some unrest in the squad, I don't know for definite though. The decision to postpone Football at this time is a very sensible action by the SFA and SPFL, as peoples health and safety are the main concern just now, and for the foreseeable future.

Regarding the comments by Lennon and Brown regarding the League Title, I personally think it is in bad taste to even mention it at this time, as it is not mathematically won yet, I agree that it would be unlikely that they will lose it, but nothing is certain in football.

Imo uefa should make the call so that all leagues are doing the same thing. Can't have some leagues saying null and void, some playing out remaining games and some then just going with current standings. Needs to be the same across all European leagues. IMO.

I want it null and void for obvious reasons, but you can't say that champions league places etc should go to teams who are in they positions the now because that's only fair, but then turn around and say that if your winning the league it shouldn't count. Other teams still have mathematical chances to get those european spots, just like we do to win the league.

Surely Celtic can't be given the title, a precedent has already been set, on sept 13 1939 the the league was abandoned due to the war starting, with Rangers in 1st position in the league, we weren't awarded the league then so surely celtic can't get it now!

2 games against them plus game in hand. if we took 3 points from each of those games that's the gap closed from 13 to 4 with 18 points still to go for.

If the league was to be null and void the chase to stop the 9 would obviously have to start again next season. not saying we would win all those games but obviously celtic can't say we wouldn't so either this season continues at some point or it starts again. if it was the other way round then obv we would be gutted but all is fair in love and war. sure hearts would have something to say about it aswell . Feel sorry for liverpool but if its still mathematically possible to lose something then can't be awarded anything.

This coronavirus is terrible but in terms of football, surely if the Scottish Premiership can't be completed then the competition has to be declared null and void? We have 9 games to play so mathematically could still win the league, having to play Celtic twice. They can't possibly be awarded the title in such circumstances, even though Lennon is claiming they should in a statement today. It is a difficult one but should Celtic be awarded the title in the event that the season is abandoned it would be yet another tainted title. First and foremost let us keep ourselves and our families safe. I'm sick to death of the media scaremongering over this.

I saw a post earlier on this, saying that this would be a great time to sort out a new league structure, e, g, 18 in SPLand Championshipe with the rest forming leagues1 &2, obviously a chance for Highland, Lowland and some top Junior sides to enter the fray, sounds not a bad idea TBH, and would get rid of this s--t of playing every team 4 times.

Wouldn't get too excited. uefa has stated null and void will not be an option due to euro qualification requirements. and it there is spfl rules that state the league finishes when the spfl decide ( in unusual circumstances ) and that there is no defining reason that the league must have 38 games played. therefore in the event that the suspension of games continues then they would award prizes and demotions on " As Is " at the time the decision has to be made. if the points gap was close such as in Italy. a play off might be considered but not likely.

The sfa have just given the real reason Sundays game had been cancelled. They have stated that it's easier to cancel the game than it is to get 800 Tim's to wash their hands.

With the return leg cancelled and now English Football now cancelled until next month, how can our League continue this weekend? To all who say Barasic is our best player and worth mega millions. Did you see him last night? Absolutely awful. Completely out of his depth, admittedly, like most of them. What was most noticeable for me was him backing out of a 50/ 50, for the umpteenth time this season.

Also, can anyone explain to me how Davis can give the ball away so many times, match after match but still be playing? How bad must Hagi and Halliday have been in training not to be able to get in ahead of him.

Final point. Did you see their fitness coach working with that level of intensity with their subs for the entire second half? When they brought them on they were fully up to speed and had a massive impact. Our subs were sauntering along beside them and doing a few wee stretches.

Isn't it logical that their approach to this is better? A fully warned up player is better than one who has just jogged along to the Copeland and clapped 4 times? Honestly their drills were brilliant to watch. For so many years we have seen top class European teams look fitter and more athletic than us. We just look so damn Scottish compared to them!

I don't want to say Gerrard and co are clueless, but when you see the opposition preparing like that and then being so effective when they come on, you begin to wonder.

Soon as he tried clamping down on the boozing Barry Ferguson and co rallied against him and ousted him out, even laudrup, who is teetotal, was known to say he had never seen such relaxed boozing culture at any club he had been at, and he was a proper ‘professional ‘ footballer . I’m sick of the show pony mentality, I thought Stevie was going to drag the professionalism of our club into the 21st century, subs can’t even focus on coming into the game fully ready . Which players have improved? What’s happening in training? I only see them jog slower than Neil Lennon driving to a dentist appointment while chatting n smiling and then playing piggy in the middle on the training videos, followed by stretching and the odd couple of sit ups done the old way which wrecks your back 🤔 do they do stamina training? Cause Arfield and Davis all out of it, do they do sprint training? Cause none of our centre backs seemed to have made any speed progression, maybe ask Laura muir to come hold some stamina training and usain bolt to get their speed up, this is a deteriorating team nobody’s improved, except Ryan jack, taverniers getting dumber, mcgregors getting complacent, Davis is playing hide without the seek, Barisic who was phenomenal is buying into it, Kamara did do a sprint once but must’ve had a rush of blood that day and Morelos ate all the pies 🥧 the burgers 🍔 and the fries 🍟. I could go on but who apart from jack and Barisic when barasic was being sung about has actually shown they have improved?

So lads the season is most probably over in terms of competing for honours so what would we all like to see happen now?

I think let's go out on Sunday and remind Celtic that we are a really good team and they should be looking over their shoulders for next season. After Sunday I hope we get some clarity with regards to potential investment and what the situation is going to be with chairman etc. Once we get that I would hope that the club makes some sort of statement publicly backing Gerrard and start to build the anticipation for next season.

On the playing front I would like to see SG focus on playing the players that he wants/ knows will definitely be here next season and also give some young players some much needed experience. there's nothing better as a fan than seeing someone from your youth ranks come in and make an impression. I would probably play Kamberi to give the guy a real shot of convincing SG to make the move permanent. Morelos has probably already seen his value drop significantly since the winter break so I don't think benching him will have any further impact on his value. I'd like to see young Mebude play as back up to Kamberi as I think this boy has a real chance.

I think the European competitions might well just end here and now with no winners of both competitions this season. The 1993 Grand National was declared void due to two false starts and there weren't any football competitions during World War II, so there are precedents. I also seriously think that the same might happen to the Scottish Premiership and the other Scottish leagues and the EPL. If that happens, Celtic wouldn't win 9 IAR and poor Liverpool would miss out. The competitions would be declared void.

Probably the biggest game of morelos' carreer last night and he couldn't have seemed more disinterested if he tried. at one point i'm sure he had to be told to run to the ball. wonder wtf he does in training to be chosen

We got beaten by a far superior team and don't think any tacticts stevie chose wouldve changed the result. so fair play to bayer but i do thinkbmost of them couldve tried a little bit harder. an absolute mountain to climb next week.

Onto sunday. we must start kamberi against them. the guys begging for a deal and it shown when he's playing. He busts a gut and he's got goals in him.

These guys are our 1st team selection week in week out and right now wether we like it or not. our bread and butter is the domestic season and right now i'm delighted we done so well 1st half of season because of the league had started in january we would be sitting 5th or 6th i'm sure. so please forgive me if i'm not the serial optimist as i usually am. i'm just saying how i feel. but for someone to think i want rangers to lose is rather insulting. other posters have says far worse yet i gauruntee they don't want rangers to lose just to prove any point. season ticket holder for many years so no. I don't go to games to see rangers lose. i go and i sing at the top of my lungs and i cheer the rangers on the full 90 minutes. the other week at ibrox i was one of the select few who DID NOT boo the team after our defeat. i say it how i see it. if everyone had the same opinion all the time then life would be pretty boring.

SO IN CONCLUSION. REGARDLESS OF WHAT I WRITE WETHER IT BE GOOD OR BAD ONTOWARDS RANGERS UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WOULD I EVER IN A MONTH OF SUNDAYS WANT RANGERS TO LOSE. OR DRAW FOR THAT MATTER.

Hey guys

I thought tonight against a team that we were way underdogs anyway
And against a team values way above ourselves we played very well and can not fault the players at all
This is the performance we all want from our team every game in our domestic season and we would not be on here or in the stands moaning and groaning

By the way they might have won the game but our team made them fight for it and by the end of the game they knew they were in a game of football and that is all we can ask and hope for
And we cannot complain we had chances and played some good football and pressured them
Honestly if we played with that much intensity In domestic we wouldn't be so far behind that's the performance levels we want and expect froM a Rangers side and they can tonight hold there heads high

Honestly that's all I ever want to to see is a team playing to a level where they come off the pitch and say we tried our hardest

Apart from penalty there goals were good and skill full nothing we can do

Team has done really well getting this far
And if we score early on in next game
Who knows anything is possible

Why can't we play exactly the same way in domestic I'm not sure

Big kamberi I've really liked him since he's came in really adds something to the team

Hagi as someone already said really hasn't got pace and that is maybe where his downfall lies

Morelos no idea if going to be here next season

Kamarra seemed to play better tonight than he has for a long time trying things he doesn't normally in domestic - (what's that about)

Kent done ok - still at times holds onto ball a bit longer than he should and not enough killer balls through the middle and rather go side ways I think

Arfield works tirelessly but not enough stamina in a game like tonight

Going forward - hate to say it Need some big changes and need good pace, technical players who have fight and hunger
Not sure if next season going to come too quick I'm afraid

Funny feel like club in middle can't say we need new manger
Can't say we don't need new Manager

Definitely need a change of formation and tactics going forward and not just one tactic one formation
But different tactics formations depending who we are playing and play to our strengths and there weaknesses

Unfortunately I would let/ sale Davis, Morelos, tav, Goldson, Defoe, haliday Kamarra, Stewart, polster, Flanagan,
Go any decent offers let them go
But then would mean trying to gel new players for next season given Celtic another advantage
But can't see any other alternative on how past 2 seasons has went guys?

Probably agree with about 90% of that so I hit agree, as far as strengths n weaknesses and formations tactics concerned I’d do a 3-5-2 away against Leverkusen as they vulnerable from corners be good to have 3 centre backs on the park, Barisic and Tavernier on counter attack in the midfield but also marking their wingers when under the cosh, but tell Tavernier to stay to hell away from our own box.

Ryan jack behind Arfield and hagi, aribo replaces Arfield when he tires from stamina, Morelos and Kent up front looking to break, with Kamberi coming on to replace whoever tires first up front, Kamara can sit n watch try learn something.

Firstly, just like to say a get well soon to Mikel Arteta as our former player has tested positive for Coronavirus. No idea of the severity of the situation with him but thoughts go out to our former player. Onto tonight's game. I thought we did well lads. It was a big ask to beat that mob. For all their possession they had limited chances. Problem is the ones they got they took. In hindsight we stood off them to much the first half. Second half we played well when we got at them but when we open up and go at them they score twice. To be fair to them they have some fantastic players.

Health of humanity most definitely comes first and although i was at ibrox against leverkusen last night, i have my doubts as to whether supporters should have been allowed to attend the game! I think we should have followed most of europe on this, if i'm being honest. I obviously have the same thinking on the upcoming old firm game this sunday.

As for Hagi being on the bench, I think Gerrard has one eye on sunday and he probably knew we wouldn't win against a team like leverkusen so decided that he be best served for sunday as well as Kamberi.

I along with most fans do get frustrated with a lot that's happened/ happening with our team but fluck me how many managers can we go through before some people are happy (financially couldn't afford to pap Gerrard just now) so as a family of bears let's stick together and get behind our mighty gers and see where he takes us.

Shows work still needs to be done.
However, would fans prefer watching, Annan, Peterhead, Berwick et al or Bayer, Braga, Porto Warsaw and Feyenoord. We r making progress, anyone who says other wise does not really understand our journey.
