JFM I understand your concerns my friend and I share them but I will ask you to take this into consideration.
Danny Rohl took the 24th best team in the championship and finished 12th.
Is it so inconceivable that he could take the 2nd best team and make it 1st.
It was not minor adjustments at Wednesday it was a complete miracle.

I agree Asa he done a great job there.
Difference is there was no expectation there, where there is every expectation here.
Could he deliver under the Rangers pressure?

I agree Asathor. That was a basket case and improved them and had no option but to leave. The guy has got talent. He will be a great manager.

The vast majority wanted the safe bet of Gerrard, rightly or wrongly Rohl will not be given time because of the farce that's came before him, those in power have made an arse of this big time.

Sorry Asa your reply landed on a different page from the posts you were answering. If Rohl is the choice I will give him my backing he is another lazy championship choice by the board if he gets it. Same as players coming in, there are more options than England but that imo is down to Thelwell and his lack of knowledge outside of English leagues.

Agree would be unfair of Rohl if he gets it as the amount of pressure on him to hit the ground running is huge, partly down to the disconnect between the fans and the board and the last appointment, my take is, he may be a good young coach but the timing isn't right for this appointment where the expectations and pressures are huge, if he came in with an older head beside him possibly, but feel at this time it requires a steady head.
