I am sorry but Alfredo doesn't cut it with me he's not my centre, it's a pity Defoe is not a few years younger he's a super Ally, even Halliday said Morales scuffs the balls when shooting, in my opinion what we need is a poacher.

Don't think we can afford to keep Alfredo or Borasic- we had no funds before the C.V. so finances must be in a perilous state now plus we've made a few signings including Hagi so I believe those 2 have to be sold and hope we achieve £25m +. Wouldn't be surprised if Katic goes as well as SG doesn't seem to fancy him.

Defoe is clearly a better finisher But morelos can lead the line himself. Defoe has never played as a loan striker.

Woyld be interested to see if you've any stats on how defoe compared in his first 3 seasons at West ham compared to how morelos first 3 seasons with us have went.
Morelos is young, raw, bags of talent with a bit of baggage and attitude problem, give me this any day over some people's wishlist on here of dykes, shankland, Cosgrove, 🙈🙈🙈jesus wept.

Morelos and Defoe stats to the age of 22 are very similar pretty much scoring 1 in 2 games overall with Defoe edging it and he was Playing at a higher level.

For me, Polster was a squad player. He did alright in SPL. However he struggled against Leverkusen. I wish him well though if he goes.

This is now totally ridiculous and a total farce . If hearts and thistle win their case and calling if leagues and relegations and promotions deemed illegal the only winners are you know who?

the new top isn't out till the 1st of august so it was a real genuine fake strip he had.

Docherty has a bit of bite so he would be useful against some teams. Not an automatic choice but handy to have. Kamara is better technically but has no bottle.

Docherty in my opinion hasn’t shown he’s good enough, aye he’s never had a run but I watched him with jobs and Shrewsbury he can score a goal but playing for rangers is different as most teams play deep meaning less space. In 50/ 50s I seen him in he lost most of these and was often brushed aside and his ball retention is not great.

Sad to say I think hibs are his level.

Re Coldo and tactis and set up, I will give you some of that argument but still not totally convinced it would have a major effect on our league position over the season we need a bit of lady luck or reduce our bad luck with regards to injury's, red cards, bad ref decisions, poor signings and trial by TV etc. Celtic won the league cup with a bit of luck albeit we should have put the ball in the net. No doubt all things discussed have an effect and up for discussion how much however I will stand by my claim that better players will mean you can rely less on all of the above. We moved on some players that were just not good enough for Rangers at this stage and IMO we need to move on prob another 2 or 3 and bring in a handful of some high quality individuals in the MOLD (we can't afford that caliber of player) of Thomson, Souness, Mculloch or Ferguson. BTY what a midfield that would be, think the opposition would be stuck in the tunnel like a scared cat.

We were the best team in Scotland last season, VAR would have disallowed their goal and ordered a retake of our pen ( I know we don't have var but both decisions shouldn't have needed it), they stole the cup then they get awarded the title, did they warrant any of them? Not for me.

Hello Fellow Bears, and the usual timposters,
I have been keeping tabs on the proceedings in the virtual court regarding Hearts/ Thistle action.
Not actually sure if it being sent to arbitration by Lord Clark would benefit those clubs or the gang at spfl.
I thought being required to release documents would be a step in the right direction but suppose it depends on what documents they release (oops we seem to have misplaced some, sorry)
I know there are much sharper footballing and legal brains amongst our readers and posters so what's the consensus folks?

As I've said before all that's going to happen is that Hearts and Thistle will try and persuade the panel to get as much compensation as they can and that will be nowhere near £10 million.
Never a chance of this getting the league declared null and void or getting Hearts reinstated in the top flight. For a start Budge is perfectly happy that Celtic were awarded the league*. Personally, I'm getting a bit sick of unbiased BBC pundits (lol) like Michael Stewart and Tom English telling us all how wonderful Budge is. All I've heard is that she is a highly successful businesswoman, but they never seem to mention that Douglas Parks is even more successful in business.
