Said it on here months ago - sell tav and morelos grab as much as we can and give to our manager to re build. We get sucked into brown rubbish every time - why don’t they wait til after the match to have a word! - they are paid professionals: however must say I was expecting the worse at 110 and down to 10 men, the team reacted well and almost came back twice. we almost have a decent team and I’m sure the manager will sort in the summer. Morelos has been given the benefit on several occasions but his time is up and should be moved on. Sign McKenna, Kent on long term deals and find another striker.

We'll get a lot less for Morelos after today. No big club will touch him. He's simply not a big game player, that much is clear. Name one other 20 mill player in the world who gets 5 red cards a season. There aren't any.

If Rangers were to try and buy Kent I wouldn't offer anymore than 4-5 million. I think the defence are all needing replaced but not sure if club would change everyone. Worral will be back at Forest, I would sell Tav, Goldson is not consistent enough, and none of the left backs are good enough. I'm sure there will be at least 2 new defenders bought in the summer. Does anyone know if there any decent defensive prospects in the youngster squad. Hear a lot about the midfielders and strikers but not sure about defenders. For the height of both Goldson and Worrall, they don't seem to win many defensive headers at set pieces. I think Dave King needs to start looking about for some investment from somewhere. Also not convinced with Jack, doesn't seem to do much. Season is over now, looks like we will stay in 2nd, does anyone else think some of the youngsters should get some game time? Not necessarily starting but coming off the bench.

Shaft, have to agree with your comments, goldson and Worrall scare me to death when they've got the ball at their feet, glad Worrall is off back to forest. If Morelos' head has been turned by talk of European clubs looking at him and he wants to make sure we sell him in the summer, then that was a bloody unloyal way to do it in a match like that. I hope Gerrard sees that and keeps him off the team sheet for the rest of the season. Whatever we get for him now will be a bonus. Gerrard said in midweek that if you can't raise yourself for an old firm match, you are at the wrong club. A fair few in that team proved his point today.

Kent Turned up today but where has he been in previous games he is a good player but his assists and goals ratio for this season ain't great.
Even if we can improve that for the lad i feel we are fighting a lost cause to keep him.
We can not afford to going spend that amount on one player and i very much doubt we will as we need more than 3 quality new players next season especially if we sell morelos.

I have stuck up for Morelos as much as I can, he deserved 2 red cards 1 for the elbow and 1 for stupidity. Kent was lucky too, have not seen the Halliday 2 bookings in as many minutes so can't comment. Not sour grapes Celtics first half performance was excellent . Simulation is used, not often enough imo, for players diving without meaningful contact. Brown fouls Morelos off the ball, deliberately to wind him up, then goes down as if shot only to jump up and laugh as Mporelos, correctly, gets sent off. If that's not simulation what is it? I called it a disgrace when Lafferty did it and it's still a disgrace now from Brown. Will the SFA do anything? LOL I'm making myself laugh at that.

Looking back on this season since we exited Europa league we have played 20 games and only won 10 games and the games we have won are against smaller teams we have struggled again the top six teams.
That is not acceptable if we are to win trophies that says to me these players lack a big game mentality.
Going forward we need better quality in the first eleven and to do this we need to do better in the transfer market.
we spent round about 11 million on transfer fees this summer and only one player started today who we bought for fees this is not good enough from recruitment side.
Then we have all the loan players and freebies who have not worked out and now on good wages its been very poor recruitment from who ever in charge.
If we are going invest more money how about getting us some good scouts to spot players.

Good post Craig, we need three or four of the marquee signings SG refers to.
Hastie, Stewart and jones no better than we have. however may chip in more goals i. e. ten to twelve each.
That second half shows gap not massive, we need to turn draws into wins, reduce further goals lost in league.
Candeas, Tav, jack, lafferty, Halliday, Worrall, no better than squad players if even that.
Davis, Defoe, and sad to say it Morelos unless he has a brain transplant not the answer either.

Hastie and Jones will provide us with a much direct running style and take there man on hastie looks like he has goals in him so that should be plus and if Jones can add goals then the threat from the wings will be significantly improved will they be good enough to challenge Celtic time will tell.
As for Stewart he is no better than what we currently have so wouldn't bother signing him.
There is a lot of work required in the summer to the squad like the names you mention above there is few more fringe players that need be moved on as well but agree with all players you have said above.
As much as a like jack we need more assists and goals from that area of pitch and by the looks of arfield his legs look like they have gone in big games we need pace and energy in the middle park we seriously lack this and set up two defensive with 2 defence minded centre midfielders.
Our defence looked solid at start season and why gerrard decided to bring in worral to replace katic is a mystery.

I agree we should be aiming higher but it seems who ever is in charge of signing players seems intent on bringing in free signings
and that's why we have ended up with to many average players.
Untill we see serious money spent on half a dozen players and picked by the manager not mark allen then we will continue to sign the average players like jones kamara jack hastie lafferty from premiership.
But like i said hopefully that dirctness from both hastie and jones can improve us.

For everyone slagging and having a go at Tav, there is only person to blame for today and that person is Morelos. Yes, Tav made a mistake but that aside he had a good game and played a part in our goal. Morelos is to blame solely for today and should never play again - time to plan for next season. There are reasons to be optimistic, they are not that far ahead of us, it's the silly points we've dropped v Dundee, St Johnstone, Killie etc that has killed us this season.
