dundee rumoured to be changing their vote to yes.

14 Apr 2020 07:15:05
yea they have the other mob have gone into over drive looks like football next season now think the scottish is to be played in January as it has a sponsor as well.

14 Apr 2020 08:06:37
Where are you seeing this truebluesotrue, I wouldn't be surprised mind you. This farce has no credibility any more, Dundee FC and the SPFL Board will I hope be held to task, no matter what the result is, the clear attempt here is to do the sweeping job again.

14 Apr 2020 10:01:49
well when you have 28 days to work on it and started at 3.30pm Friday I think liewell would have a good chance of making that happen for the emergency meeting that he's been invited to despite not being on that board.

14 Apr 2020 10:47:40
cant believe a no vote is allowed to be changed and a yes vote is not, very democratic that, if stewart robertson is on the spfl board how come these things were not pointed out to him before, he had a legal adviser with him at the video vote to point this failure out, looks like another rangers legal slip up, hope they have something up their sleeve to bring a halt to this mess, papers also reporting dundee being offered bribes of lucrative matches against spl big hitters, and nelmes trying to get deals done with an spfl chief executive, its getting filthier by the day, nice easter holiday, talk about judas and the 30 pieces of silver comes to mind.

14 Apr 2020 12:18:54
I wonder if Dundee had voted yes and tried to change it after deadline would it been allowed. Nah me neither.

14 Apr 2020 13:12:16
truebluesotrue, you make an excellent point my friend, if and when this 'Yes' vote is received and Rangers Board don't act immediately on it, by providing all of the evidence they hold to every Club in Scotland, then, I will be at a loss for words, surely not a bluff.

14 Apr 2020 14:31:04
I would hope rangers would act now and present them with an interdict preventing anything happening untill investigated
True blue I have been made aware that it is company law that a yes vote at board level cannot be changed but a no vote can .
The big prob with that as I see . ( maybe someone can correct me ) is that the spfl are not a registered company governed by company house . but an independent governing body . ie they cannot be taken to court by any associated member . so the yes vote rule should surely not apply in this case.

13 Apr 2020 23:11:59
So Dundee are expected to vote yes now, couldn't make it up.

14 Apr 2020 08:07:38
Nothing wrong with that.

14 Apr 2020 09:34:00
Wrong in too many ways to list. If this is the case it is yet another tainted "title" for the club like no other. Never mind it will only delay the inevitable.

14 Apr 2020 10:06:29
Plenty wrong with that if the reports about phone calls after the vote was sent and then changed along with lucrative friendlies with spfl big hitters ie celtic being agreed for dundee. Shame on them utter disgrace.

14 Apr 2020 16:29:13
East belfast, this whole dundee vote rubbish let's us know how desperate the tims are to get number 9, and it also has me thinking if our corrupt s.p.f.l. board can do this what else could they do, or could have done without our knowledge.

13 Apr 2020 21:06:27
Just for the record and Michael Stewart I put my vote forward at approx 21.06 and 12 secs.

13 Apr 2020 20:15:25
Was hoping someone could shed some light on this . John or someone

There are so many suspect events regarding the gore on Friday . For me the biggest one was that Dundee submitted a vote but are now able to alter

I am hearing that company law dictates that a yes vote cannot be overturned but a no vote can? Anyone shed some light on this?
Even that being the case, the spfl have never been governed by company law as it is an I dependant body and nit a company . Thus enables them to write rules like they cannot be accountable in court . If anyone can shed a light please do . Can’t find anything on web.

13 Apr 2020 20:44:31
Molsgoals a complicated situation, lot may depend on the constitution, it’s all guesswork till lawyers get into it.

13 Apr 2020 21:06:16
Go onto Tim pages they’ll know after all that they were experts on EBTs and corporate law doubling up with expertise in company tax laws all that and being a windae cleaner.

13 Apr 2020 21:42:19
it is unclear if in there rules or just applied for this vote (or any that they choose) but it is certain they have been quoted as no vote can overturn but not a yes. get yer yes's and you have 28 days to work on your no's. sounds about right for them.

13 Apr 2020 21:47:31
Molsgoals, I believe that the rules are very similar to a "closed" tender, in that a deadline time and date are issued for submission. If Dundee submitted their vote, yes or no, before the deadline, that cannot be changed thereafter under any circumstances. Cheers.

14 Apr 2020 08:12:50
Molsgoals, i don't know either mate, but i see the guy mcclellen (spelling) that is telling rangers to talk to him, he is another that got his job from big pete, this is getting beyond a joke, there must be conflicts of interest somewhere down the line all these people are all taking orders from the same person.

14 Apr 2020 10:02:08
Billyb, i hope your right about this mate, the vote was shown all over the newspapers. a photocopy of the actual voting paper, with three clubs disagreeing.

14 Apr 2020 13:17:06
The time lines for everything concerning this fiasco will be recorded somewhere, a computer expert need brought in to examine this ASAP, as it will prove conclusively what actually happened, not speculation.

13 Apr 2020 15:20:07
Someone wrote earlier that we shouldn't go to any away games, so that we starve out the other teams. Couldn't agree more. Any opportunity that the other teams get to shaft us, they jump at it. Say on average, we have 3500 away supporters. Maybe 25-30 a ticket and 5-10 on something to eat or drink.

That's about 125,000 quid that we would put into their coffers in a day. At least 4 times a year. That's half a million quid a year at least, that they'd be losing. Massive money for livi or Kilmarnock for example. Maybe a vote is needed on this. e. g ( Should we not attend away matches) .

I understand the support is important, but stuff the other teams. Why should we be helping to keep them afloat, when they can't wait to screw us any way possible. They couldn't wait to throw us out of the league. Also, when I say vote, ed, once it's sent in, I don't think anyone should be able to withdraw it. Don't want to because a scandal;)

{Ed033's Note -

Attend Away Match poll

13 Apr 2020 16:28:10
Genius idea Rossco. let's starve the other clubs of much needed income and put our entire league un jeapordy. Thenother clubs in spl need ours and tics away fans money to keep the lights on.

13 Apr 2020 17:28:01
Ross o where are seeing this post that rangers fans should not go to away games.
Hope u r not twisting my post where I say I’m not going to away games.
At no time do I say or encourage others to boycott away games.

13 Apr 2020 18:00:42
Depending on how the SPFL handle this mess I would be all for boycotting selected away games.

13 Apr 2020 19:08:38
I don't think we play any teams away from home 4 times per year?

13 Apr 2020 20:19:06
We should have boycotted the away games after they all wanted us to down to the bottom division.

13 Apr 2020 22:15:16
Boycotting away games will hurt our players more. Imagine Pittodrie or Easter Road with no gers fans the team need all our support.

13 Apr 2020 20:33:56
Could be me but I thought the role of a supporter was to support the team.

Of course you can talk about supporting the team but the team won't hear you if you don't go to the match!

13 Apr 2020 20:44:26
At least 4 times a year, really.

13 Apr 2020 23:23:04
Buzz is your own page down?

14 Apr 2020 07:55:48
Buzz, i see you didn't reply to my new balance update for you yesterday? 🤔I wonder why? 😂Scroll down read and weep! 😂.

14 Apr 2020 09:09:51
2 some only 1 depending on top/ botton half finish. Figures are way off. Also yeah if u we want to have a chance nwxt year away fans are a must to back the team away from home.

14 Apr 2020 13:21:09
DK 19. U r right, but family issues and this virus can change perspective, my time for travelling in Scotland is over,
U and your family stay safe, we will get through this and we will win the league soon.

13 Apr 2020 13:25:28
Ed, can we have a poll on most obsessive Tim of the year. Options are Leon aka Buzz, Gazo, philtim88, jamesboyhail or other.

{Ed033's Note -

obsessive Tim poll

13 Apr 2020 13:41:59
Nice one ed. A like your little addition. Forgot about him 🤣.

13 Apr 2020 13:43:38
C of ibrox, buzz gets my vote, he is never off this site, he is here more often than the edds. he never or rarely posts on the celtic rumours site. i'm wondering if we have turned him, buzz, what team do you support?

13 Apr 2020 14:37:00
poor buzz more to be pitied than scolded i can assure you.

13 Apr 2020 14:45:09
U on the celtic site paul
Tut tut 😂.

13 Apr 2020 15:06:10
I tend to agree with you Paulellen,
buzz bomb is never off these pages 😂. By the way i've got news for buzz bomb so read up and weep my celtic friend. I know he'll read this as he's on our pages constantly.

Buzz Bomb, for the record new balance are the new rangers kit manufacturers and will replace current kit makers hummel and will make our kit whenever we get clearance to start the new season after we hopefully get this terrible virus under control and stop people tragically losing their lifes. Yes buzz bomb that boston sportswear brand who were formed by irishmen who wouldn't go near rangers 😂😂. Aye right so put that in your pipe and smoke it and i did tell you business is business!

13 Apr 2020 15:38:48
I voted for Buzz too Paul. Then I withdrew my vote and will take 28 days to think about it.

13 Apr 2020 16:34:36
Brilliant c of . only prob is this site is not as corrupt and once you vote is cast it cannot be changed . eh like all the voting procedures I gave ever known . apart from one . ridiculous.

13 Apr 2020 16:36:15
It was a difficult vote between Leon and Phil but after Phil's proclamation on the Monday that he wouldn't be back on here only for his obsession to get the better of him and he returned by Good Friday it was Philtim all day long. 👍😂.

13 Apr 2020 16:58:40
Pmsl lads. I am actually glad they pop in. They are good for a laugh if nothing else!

13 Apr 2020 18:05:11
You can withdraw your vote but no one else can and we are declaring the result.

13 Apr 2020 19:29:38
Apparently Phil voted for Leon.
Leon voted for himself.
Gazo is currently writing a 10 page paragraph reply why he isn't obsessed.
Jamesbhoy has tied his hands together to stop him replying to kid on he isn't obsessed.
The others all voted for Leon!

13 Apr 2020 20:15:55
So there was me having yet another virtual beer with the Trackie and my ex Pacific Shelf pals when the discussion turned to the big vote. None of them could believe that Timalloy was not listed as a front-runner and all wanted to bet me £500 each that philtim88 will finish ahead of Leon. Fools and their money eh! 🤣🤣.

13 Apr 2020 17:24:24
Brilliant. I feel honoured to be nominated. I'd like to thank my agent.

Can we have another one who uses the term "Obsessed" the most Ed? :)

13 Apr 2020 20:40:10
Leon voted for buzz. 😂😂.

14 Apr 2020 08:04:48
Gazo, while I personally didn't vote for you I had high hopes for you. Quite surprised by your poor backing.

14 Apr 2020 08:06:55
My daughter voted for Buzz Bomb on the banter page and I voted for Phil on the polls page. It’s been an honour to be considered and I would like to thank C of Ibrox for all his efforts in setting up the poll in the first place.

14 Apr 2020 10:13:46
Not a problem young man!

13 Apr 2020 09:42:40
Taking us away from this terrible virus for a moment and of course this inadequate spfl board (buffoons) with all their poor/ possible underhand decisions here's a question for us all to think about, when we hopefully can get back to football being up and running again.

Which players do you think/ want gerrard to sell/ let go and what players would you like him to hopefully sign, including talent within the scottish leagues, because there's undoubtedly talent within our shores? I think without doubt we'll sell alfredo morelos, possibly along with james tavernier and borna barisic, which i reckon we'll get a combined fee of no less than £33 million.

I think alnwick, foderingham, Flanagan, ojo will all go. I also think we'll sell kamara, jones, barker for obviously transfer fees. I like greg docherty but think he'll be allowed to go to hibs as part of a deal for kamberi to sign with us permanently. I also think unfortunately both jamie murphy and ross mccrorie will be sold on, although personally i'd keep both.

The players i think gerrard may well bring in are hladky the st. mirren goalkeeper, possibly clyne on a free from liverpool, young paterson and polster can cover our right back position, barry
douglas to replace barisic at left back, lewis ferguson, scott allan in midfield which would be replacements for kamara and docherty etc.

The young dundee utd winger louis appere along with dundee utd striker lawrence shankland. Obviously as i definitely think morelos will be sold, i think gerrard will quite possibly sign 3 strikers in the above mentioned lawrence shankland, lyndon dykes and josh maja.

It would be only 2 strikers if kamberi definitely stays permanently. I think we need good players who know what rangers are all about and very importantly, they can play in the scottish league! that's behind my thinking on who i think gerrard may go for and why! Thoughts on this fellow bears as we all have our different opinions? 🤔.

{Ed001's Note - you wouldn't want Clyne. Away from the fact he is recovering from a career-threatening injury, his lifestyle is terrible. You have seen the Kyle Walker stories about his sex parties on lockdown? Well they are every day life for Clyne!}

13 Apr 2020 10:06:35
Respect your opinion coop but we'll win f*ck all with those players you've mentioned.

13 Apr 2020 10:40:59
Its who i think ross wilson/ steven gerrard will go for around our leagues mrgrumpy, that's all mate!

13 Apr 2020 10:43:02
Cabin fever Supercoop, stay safe.

13 Apr 2020 10:45:16
We will win nothing with these signings. if that’s who Wilson wants he should go as well.

13 Apr 2020 10:45:51
If that's your list coop, then its 2 steps backwards as far as I'm concerned.
Too early to speculate as transfers loans etc are all up in the air.
But one thing I do know is we shouldn't be touching anyone from another Scottish team for at least 2 years.

13 Apr 2020 11:27:44
Okay you SGL dissenters, lol, I notice not one of you has named an alternative to his post which I agree with in a lot of respects. We can't afford big money for any new players, as I will be amazed if we get anything like the money being touted for Morelos, Tavernier and Barisic, money will be very tight worldwide for a long time following this terrible pandemic. Shankland would score goals for us, Ferguson is a typical hard midfielder who has done well at a reasonable level in Scotland, the ST Mirren goal keeper I also agree with, I'd keep Jones, as I think he will produce the goods if given a proper chance. If Hearts are eventually relegated, their young Left Back, Hickey is a good prospect. Just an opinion like SGL's, a bit of fun guys, we need something to cheer us up just now, all the best.

13 Apr 2020 11:37:53
Appreciate that we are moving on to a new topic but that list of players would be lucky to get us top six 🤣.

13 Apr 2020 12:02:13
Signing hickey for the future wouldn't be a bad shout. Ferguson? Maybe but the sheep won't want to deal with us.
I'd imagine the the D. O. F and the manager would be looking down in England and Europe for future signings.

13 Apr 2020 12:04:08
I don’t think these suggestions are all that bad,

Shankland decent striker probably not first choice but I’d still have him.

Ferguson I’d have him over most of our midfield he’s tough strong never hides and he’s a true blue so we’d get another 10% out of him.

Dykes would be a good edition I’d probably take him over kamberi

Scott Allan not for me I’d rather keep Docherty

Haldky is a good keeper I’m not saying he good enough I’ve not seen him that much just against us really but he’s certainly decent.

Josh Maja I really don’t know much about him so won’t comment.

But on our budget who else is available I don’t think past it pl player will do us any good I think Defoe as much as I like him he is a waste of a wage.

13 Apr 2020 12:13:48
I agree with all the OUTS but sorry SGL if we end up with the INS we will have taken a step back. We need better than Tav, same or better than borna, better than Kamara, Better than Morelos 2 off, right winger as good or better than RK, midfield enforcer to build a team around. If we get that we should do fine but all the players brought in must be tried n tested able to play in poor weather and put up with hammer throwers with a smile on their face.

13 Apr 2020 12:21:12
Defoe has 20 appearances in the league this season (9from the subs bench) and he's scored 13. Even at 37-38 he's a better striker than the players mentioned.

13 Apr 2020 13:46:31
Guys i've said this for a while now on here that livingston striker big lyndon dykes would be a terrific signing for us! Anyone tell me why they think he WOULDN'T be? I'll tell why i think he WOULD be. Dykes is a type of striker we most definitely could be doing with and currently haven't got! He's big very strong and powerful, a good turn of pace, very good in the air, can score goals with both feet, gives defenders a torrid time and IMO could lead the line up top on his own! Oh by the way can most definitely play in the scottish league with his all action style of play, with absolutely NO fear! What's not to like here fellow bears? 🤔.

13 Apr 2020 14:13:07
He'd be relatively cheap and low risk coop. Just think we need to be looking for better than that.

13 Apr 2020 13:44:11
great debate string though coop.

13 Apr 2020 14:35:31
S.g.l, I've always like the look of dykes, he will never be bullies off the ball, big strong looking guy, can score goals, what's not to like.

13 Apr 2020 14:26:21
Louis apere is honkin. Was loaned out to the juniors last season. Really not great.

13 Apr 2020 15:54:43
I think you'll find that after the devastating effects of the coronavirus, big money transfers may well be a thing of the past. I'd rather try some of our kids than the players you are mentioning Supercoop!

13 Apr 2020 20:19:10
Dykes is very hot and cold me thinks.

13 Apr 2020 22:54:14
I'd have dykes coops think he would run riot for us. Hoped for him in jan when it looked like we may be going for him.

13 Apr 2020 06:08:26
Best I've heard from the mhanks is and i quote "we want to complete the whole season but if its cancelled and we are given title then we'll be happy" why not show some respect and say. we won't accept unless all games are played. and before yous all start i'm sure if shoe was on the other foot quite a few bears would be wanting the title aswell. but this is only my opinion.

i personally would not accept it and i swear in my kids life i wouldnt. over the years teams have came back from looking down and out to winning leagues (woop woop) helicopter sunday. leicester few games away from relegation to winning the league the next. in football you just don't know. Yous are that desperate to getting 10 you can't see the bigger picture.

Cmon. the 1st 4 titles were a given. had rangers not been demoted then there's 0 chance yous would be anywhere near this 9iar. but fair is fair you can only play who is there at the time. and that's not a blue tinted response. that's basically a sure thing. what's the difference between yous claiming this title than us claiming the war titles? Different situation but same scenarios. only difference is we actually won the majority of them regardless of what was going on.

i tell you what . yous take the title aslong as rangers get to register the war titles minus the one that wasnt completed back then? so instead of us having 54 we will up it to 60? And before yous say no because of the war. celtic won titles during ww1 .1914-1915 1915-1916 and 1916-1917.war began july 28 1914.and yous have claimed these as official titles. would love to hear your response to that one. no doubt leon will have something to say about it. as he's a walking talking rangers encyclopedia.

All i'm saying is fair is fair. If yous are willing to accept a tainted unfinished league then its only fair rangers accept those unawarded titles. if its good enough for 1 team then its good enough for the other.

13 Apr 2020 10:31:31
Well if you where going for ure supposed 55 would you be saying the same stuff on here. Doubt it very much. I'm sure you would have a different outlook on life then.

13 Apr 2020 11:13:20
Igglepiggle, Professional sport was not cancelled in Scotland during WW1 and the titles Celtic and Rangers won during WW1 were counted and are listed.

English football cancelled their professional leagues after one year during WW1 and when WW2 came along the British government took it out of the Association’s hand and decided to ban all professional sport in Britain.

The Scottish leagues were split into regional leagues similar to the old reserve league west. The Dundee teams and Aberdeen played in the North league and Celtic and Rangers played in the South league.

The winners of the Northern leagues highlight their success as minor title wins. It is similar to your club winning in the lower divisions in Scotland because they also get counted as minor title wins.

13 Apr 2020 12:03:34
Caught some fish there igglepiggle😉.

13 Apr 2020 13:46:29
their wriggling, driveling and panicking igglepiggle. nice one.

13 Apr 2020 14:11:25
Buzz, how you doing pal,? What do you think of adidas. And there struggles? seems they can't pay man utd, are they not your new kit suppliers,

13 Apr 2020 14:19:17
Iggle, is it a fly your using mate, certainly getting lots of bites regardless eh, mate.

14 Apr 2020 08:14:49
Iggle, i'd except the title, but if asked about it i would explain that we cheated to get it, lol.

13 Apr 2020 00:19:11
The mhedia will be in a state of apoplexy tonight, can't be seen to support spfl and the corruption and lies that are now coming to fore but risk the wrath of uncle peter of the separate entity if they appear to support rangers and their proposals. Surely even if Dundee were to sell their soul now, the process was so flawed it couldn't be valid?
Holicom must be in meltdown spinning this time to drain the swamp as they say.

13 Apr 2020 09:53:11
Spot on, even the BBC pundits which dislike us with a passion are calling them out.

13 Apr 2020 10:38:23
SPFL don’t like result of vote on the resolution so they spike the ballot.

13 Apr 2020 10:53:40
Nothing that has transpired is not provided for in the instructions given to members when they were asked to vote. It remains to be seen what Dundee's motives were to collude with PTFC and ITC in the first place and to hold up the counting of their vote in the second place.

13 Apr 2020 12:16:00
So my friend all in a row in your opinion it is ok for one member to cast a vote then request that vote be void ( no matter the time line that’s what happened ) and others to be denied that opportunity
Total farce my friend and you know it.

13 Apr 2020 14:15:53
I thought the ICT bloke that was on sportsound explained quite clearly why they voted the way they did.
Have a listen alleninarow.

13 Apr 2020 14:12:51
Blue blue sea, i was reading that the police are about to get involved, that's all we need eh, lol, as my wee man used to say thank france there not coming to our door, this time.

13 Apr 2020 18:07:17
Mr grumpy 100% agree however Leckie done full blown character assassination in his rag on ICT chairman brought up rangers affiliation how he’s voted in past to benefit rangers for a a so called journalist who constantly calls out old firm behaviour on and off park I’m astonished he’s brought this up again putting the guy in a potentially dangerous situation look what happened to jim Traynor He should be ashamed but as long as the holicom cash hits the account who cares absolute hypocritical snake.
