Rohl has done well up to now with what he's got, but we desperately need defenders in January, along with physical midfielders instead of our sideways passing bunch, and as for the striking department! The way the rest of the league ( top half ) are picking up points, can we finish 3rd or 4th with the current team?

Unfortunately I don't think that will happen, but changes are needed.
Buy a couple of defenders and a couple of creative players, plus moving anyone on would be a bonus and I mean anyone cause there is not one player in that squad we would miss.
