02 May 2020 19:32:03
To be fair, no mention of money yet from Castore, it's high end sportswear, something we should be associating with, rather than Hummel or joma etc. I would love to see us wearing it wee touch of class
The kind of impression we 'used' to always have above the rest.

02 May 2020 20:20:49
Although i was definitely told it was new balance who were going 2 b our new kit manufacturers, i totally agree Tronic99,it is a wee touch of class if we do indeed go with castore as our new kit makers! Also very unique as we would definitely be the first club in scotland, to have them as our kit manufacturers.
Quite possibly the first club in britain also to have castore as our partners. Hope they can do what hummel couldn't and keep up with the demand of our massive, global fanbase! I would think james bisgrove would have demanded that before agreeing any deal with castore.

02 May 2020 20:45:23
Coops, You seem rather fond of James Bisgrove.

02 May 2020 21:20:22
The guy has been a superb appointment for our club! In his field he's very highly regarded pal and i'm delighted he works for the club i love!

02 May 2020 23:17:39
SGL in fairness u love everything at our club.

03 May 2020 00:16:24
Lol john, he's definitely a glass 2 half full kinda guy 🤣🤣.

03 May 2020 07:43:24
Most definitely John25.I've went everywhere supporting the club i adore man and boy, for nigh on 44 years now mate! 👍. Its most definitely a true saying your born a rangers supporter! I followed on from my late dad, god bless him and he followed on from his dad and so on.

03 May 2020 10:57:00
Nice post Supercoop, stay safe.

03 May 2020 11:01:06
Can u remember your first game coops mines was v Clyde at Shawfield I was 12yrs old my da took me and the noise was unbelievable right in the heart of the Rangers end it was magical.

03 May 2020 11:36:53
Yes i've been to shawfield a good few times mate. My first game was partick thistle at ibrox in the mid 70's pal. In the centenary stand which of course is now the sandy jardine stand, with my dad.

03 May 2020 14:03:17
S.g.l, my first game was also partick away though, firhill. in the early 70s mate.

03 May 2020 16:05:02
My first game was against Killie in the SC Final, Jimmy Millar scored the second goal that day, from memory.

03 May 2020 16:10:38
Colin Stein was my hero as a teen remember glancing header at easter Road to win league then went on to complete the treble v Hearts 3-1 Scottish cup final first year of new premier league, can't believe that was 44 years ago where does the time go.

03 May 2020 23:26:15
Bankie, from gerrard to james bisgrove, to the board, they people that came up here with gerrard, they. Want the same as us, with the right people running the club we will be a success, for define, let them get on with it, let's go.

04 May 2020 11:33:58
The futures blue the futures orange.

02 May 2020 18:45:43
FINALLY -good riddance to bad rubbish.

02 May 2020 16:15:25
Hope the news that we have got rid of that fat twit is true. Also hope the takeover of newcastle goes through and they get rid of him too.

02 May 2020 18:27:09
Here here ger4life rangers of course are my club first and foremost but newcastle utd are my favourite english club and always have been!
Like you i hope both these fantastic clubs are rid of mike ashley! 👍🙏.

02 May 2020 19:59:53
Well SGL, who's our new kit supplier going to be? You seem to have someone different every month.

02 May 2020 20:23:18
Nike mate done and dusted 🤔.

02 May 2020 14:28:24
Wee trip down memory lane troops.
21 years ago today Neil McCann scored twice at the piggery to win the league title for Rangers. 👍
The players done the mock huddle.
Tims were tumbling of the top tier.
This is why they are the way they are today - we ripped the piss right out of them at home.
Throw in helicopter Sunday and they will gladly accept an unearned tainted title!
It's in their DNA👍😂😷.

02 May 2020 17:43:43
2 helicopter Sunday’s big man.

02 May 2020 18:50:26
Good post fellow.

02 May 2020 13:28:37
So what's everybodys view on new heavily rumoured kit supplier Castore? Links to the water that gerrard punts. never heard of them myself, they seem more fashion brand. Hoodies are 165 in harrods etc. Aslong as they give us decent coin and the best deal possible.

02 May 2020 14:43:29
Never heard of them either mate.
Apparently Andy Murray and McLaren F1 are investors in them.
Big question is - will they be able to keep up with demand?

02 May 2020 14:46:43
If true I think it’s very interesting and could be commercially attractive.

02 May 2020 14:54:01
Castore's aim is to break into football kit manufacturing and become the best globally. If indeed castore is our new kit makers then we will b the first club in scotland/ britain, to have them as kit manufacturers, which is unique and something completely different! 👍
As we all know our tennis great scot andy murray is sponsored/ supplied by castore. Their stuff looks quality and really good, hope though our kits by castore are not too expensive for our supporters to buy, as the merchandise they currently make is expensive.

02 May 2020 15:08:36
SGL would be hoping commercially its better than the 10 mill over 3 years hummel had on the table for us. can't see it tho. Some of there stuff looks alright. Pricey like you say for sportswear.

02 May 2020 15:44:12
All positive guys but it let's you know that we struggled to get anyone as our kit supplier, Bet you the Tim’s are making 4 times the cash😡😡😡.

02 May 2020 16:06:47
Lets wait and see if indeed it is castore who become our new kit makers and the money on offer on the duration of the contract. Yately01,
i'd imagine with james bisgrove as our commercial/ marketing director now, that this indeed will be a good deal money wise for our club! 👍 We'll need to see what the full deal entails in structure of kit sales and percentages etc mate!

02 May 2020 16:14:43
Yately01,i've just read an article mate stating that the new kit deal eclipses the hummel deal significantly and the deal is into 8 figures! It doesn't yet state the length of the deal! 👍.

02 May 2020 16:22:56
But what happened to New Balance coop? 😁.

02 May 2020 17:14:06
Personally quite excited if it is Casotre. Will be very interested to see the design of the tops and other gear. I like the Hummel tops but not a great fan of the grey tracky or in fact any of the grey stuff.

02 May 2020 17:19:02
Castore is a smokescreen. Wait and see what the club announce. Megastore will be jumping. Commercial partners will know the value if SD are out the way too. If we can sell in the store and online, in JD and the like, and internationally, manufacturers will know they can sell millions. We should refuse to deal with SD and not permit them to sell our kit at any point.

02 May 2020 17:19:33
Just a little underwhelming Coop and I thought we could have got better✌️✌️.

02 May 2020 18:05:04
Not sure about it being 7 figure sum. hummels was it was 10 mill. resd on castore website they have just raised 7.5 mill to branch out.

02 May 2020 18:16:50
Think Coops said 8 figures, will depend on volume and value of sales.

02 May 2020 19:38:47
Castore has less than five years' experience in the market, they might struggle to raise the sort of capital required to run an operation of the size we should be envisaging. It is mainly a digital setup with a couple of flagship stores so it would have to alter its trading outlook somewhat.
However, the two founding brothers seem to have that special something about them, taking on the big guns at the top end of a cutthroat market and sometimes young, vibrant, innovative organisations get away with flying on a wing and a prayer, and with the hundreds of thousands of fans we have worldwide as a potential purchasing base, this could - just could - be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

02 May 2020 22:47:40
Ibrox4Me, if you think castore is a smokescreen, then who do you think is going to be our new kit manufacturers mate? 🤔🤔.

03 May 2020 02:52:14
Well SGL Ibrox for me, said it might be a smokescreen can't he have a guess as well. Afterall you have went thought the full sport manufacturers catalogue--new balance, Nike, under armour etc etc- even though we are not all in the loop like yourself surely we are allowed a guess on a rumour site.

03 May 2020 07:46:20
Most definitely Isle of mull 1.I'm not having a pop pal! 👍.

03 May 2020 07:58:05
Morning Folks, I am having a good wee chuckle today at all of the expert comments on our potential Retail Partner, lol. I am a bit worried that we are paying for James Bisgrove, a proven talent in this field. Let's just wait and see what happens, we've had everyone from Nike, to New Balance etc mentioned, we won't know until James' announces it, stay well everyone.

03 May 2020 09:34:04
I'm more interested who's wearing the jersey than making them.

02 May 2020 11:45:08
When's a loan not a loan?
Doncaster and MacClennan both found out to be lying by saying the SPFL have never handed out loans in the last 8 years and yet both signed off on loans to both Motherwell and Partick!
When are these clowns going to be held to account?

02 May 2020 12:10:18
An “advance “ to be paid back is a “ Loan” no matter what wording is used.
They are at it, no other explanation. Apparently money was given to the 2 clubs missing out on the Famous attending their grounds due to fixture mixup if I read it correctly hardly is that Sporting Integrity? I think not.

02 May 2020 13:16:01
Deferred Loan with Negative Convertible Option.

02 May 2020 18:32:39
Whistleblower’s evidence been leaked early. 😂.

03 May 2020 02:09:57
Ha also Doncaster let it slip in his interview what it really was all about . He said that if the league hadn’t been called . the void option would have came into the equation. which was a road that they couldn’t go down due to the possibility of being sued by the tv companies etc. However it also came out in the interview that the tv companies had already paid out with a guarantee to not seek a refund for non completion of league .

Look into that what you will lads, but I know what I think . His phn call with Peter makes more sense now.

03 May 2020 08:02:15
If Doncaster and McLennan's lips are moving guys they're lying. Ever day now we have one Doncaster pleading his innocence, if indeed he was innocent, he is doing a great job at exposing himself as a liar. I just hope the other Clubs can look at the bigger picture here, and, if conclusive, back our stance with Stranraer and Hearts.

03 May 2020 10:18:16
Agree 100 percent molls to be a good liar u need a good memory, just a pitty we couldn't get them a lie detector test, they would blow the machines up, I HTF they don't get away this. we are the famous.

02 May 2020 09:44:51
Article on BBC sport website which raises good points from Tom English (of all people) who usually hates us.

Accounts 'shed light' on payments

02 May 2020 10:20:43
"It wasn't a loan it was an advance" then the accounts say there was still six thousand odds still outstanding "which has since been repaid" but it wasn't a loan, WHAT! I hope Motherwell and Partick stand up here and acknowledge they got a loan and expose those lying, self-serving cheats for what they are.

02 May 2020 11:20:55
Was it an interest free loan or was it an advanced payment. There is a huge difference jfy. We also have to remember we survived on loans from the fat rat so motherwell and partick survived from scottish football for free. Look how fat cahly has affected us over the last 7 years. Were we ever offered advanced payments from scottish football, if not then this should be brought to task.

02 May 2020 11:35:25
You've missed the point FB, there is nothing wrong with getting loans and no one has done any wrong the point is that the spfl said that they had to end the season to get cash to clubs in need, we said pay the money as a loan until we knew what was happening but the spfl said they cannot give loans. In 2017 Motherwell and Partick got "advances" not loans totaling £300,000 which was paid back, does that not sound like a loan?

02 May 2020 15:57:43
Sir Struth, I also read that piece, very good, and surprising from him of all people. I am still concerned that our delay in issuing our information to the other Clubs could backfire on us. I don't go along with this theory of it giving the SPFL time to cover their tracks, if, it's as foolproof as we've been led to believe, it wouldn't matter how much they tried to cover their tracks.

02 May 2020 16:11:32
Doncaster on radio this afternoon. Totally denying bullying claims and stated SPFL never had a complaint of bullying. As soon as he was finished Tom English claims to have had a chairman text him when on air to say on the day of the vote, he reported bullying to SPFL . What is going here? How is Doncaster still employed? Hope Rangers have enough to bury them.

02 May 2020 18:33:49
Jyf, i recon now that doncaster and mcclelland have been caught out lying we should have at least have. Resignations before the 12th.
