I would play James Tavernier as a rightsided midfielder, he is good at going forward, quick, got a good shot, he is never a right wingback can't defend. Play Jon Flanagan as a rightback with Tav in front. Look what happened when we moved Fernando Ricksen into midfield.

Ricksen never started well at Rangers, but learned. As for Flanagan he played at Right back with Liverpool and if it wasn't for his off-the-field incidents and injuries would probably still be in the premiership.

Tav would be a great attacking midfielder. I've been banging on about this for ages. He spends most of the game in that area, so bring in a no nonsense solid right back but not Flanagan. Tav is not a great defender and we get caught in this area quite a lot. The games don't lie folks. I think he would give us a better option from midfield. His defensive qualities are not improving. Sundays game a classic example. Need some attacking flair play folks. Kents abilities were unquestionable and he showed great heart. Hope we can keep him.

Why the tav bashing, yes he misplaced a pass that cost us the game but he has the most assists in the league and I don't remember another goal he has cost this season where his defending has greatly improved.

I think moving Tav into right mid would be a good shout and I’d like to see Ross McCrorie move into right back. He is so hard working, strong lad, decent pace and a much better defender than Tavernier. Think we all agree he is good holding mid but I feel his passing etc let’s him down a bit as a midfielder. He’s all about snapping into tackles and breaking up play. Think he could do a great job at full back and would make us more solid.

Do we rangers fans always need a scapegoat? Last season it was Windass and now Tav this season. Who's next season's scapegoat going to be? We'll all appreciate what Tav actually brings to the team next season if he leaves in the summer and it's not there anymore.

He has been responsible for a fair few tbf. Gets caught far too high for a full back at times, although playing with 2 defensive mids they should also be offering a lot more cover when he goes forward.

TAV is a decent player but you are always going to get mistakes that why he is a £2million player and not
10 million
It’s where we are at as a club it’s frustrating but it will take a bit of time before we are at the top again if we ever get back. The EPL has moved to different planet financially so instead of a decent full back costing 3/ 5 million they now cost £20 / £30 million
That’s the reality of it.

TAV really splits operations that’s for sure. Some weeks he is fantastic for 80min and one mistake costs us
I think if you look at the positive points they far outweighed the mistakes
On the whole he would be in my team every week
Could we get a better player yes for 7 or 8 million sure we could. Do we have that cash for one position no we don’t.

Tav should be moved to right mid with polster in at right back ( from our current squad ) and take armband off him for a real leader

he brings a threat going forward and has more assists in league than any other player this season

get of his back, he's not a great defender but if you look at group stage stats of europa league he's was in top 3 defenders in whole tournament.

He is an asset and he did issue an apology to everybody. I was all for him getting punted but, as he is such a natural finisher (how hard are these to come by? ) I think he should get one more chance to pay everbody back for his stupidity. To be fair, peanut heid was at his nauseating worst and it must have been torture for our guys to try and not react.

SG's two biggest mistakes this season.

Making Tav captain and dropping Katic after his good start. Our defence has been a shambles ever since. These are the two bad decisions imo that have disrupted our season the most.

I really hope Katic gets games from now til end of season, Worrall is a cart horse with no affiliation to the club, actually been disrespectful on a few occasions in interviews.

KB was it not Worrall that made an absolute pig's ear of it in that said Killie game? One of the worst performances from a Rangers centre half I've seen. He was scared of the ball.

Katic still young would rather have him than Goldson playing, worral gets criticised because he isn’t a rangers player and said he wants to go back to Forrest.
I agree with the Tav one never a right back never mind a captain.

Also for me and will probably get dogs abuse is Jack is not good enough and never will be IMO.

On Sunday we need a calm head in midfield and not having Kamara starting was a big mistake.

If a player has ability and potential, as they get more experience their performance level proves. On that basis Worrel will became a better player than Goldson but will probably take another 12 months when he will doing his stuff at Forrest. If Worrel leaving at end of season we definitely need to purchase at least 1 quality CH, most likely from Eastern Europe or Scandinavia.

Worrell is the most valuable player on our books, even as a loanee, according to transfermarkt. co. uk. To buy Worrell would cost around £17million, while any team could probably grab Tav or Morelos for £10 million. I would play Katic personally, but Stevie G knows more than i do (and you lot)
