I think we should be seeking a Hately or Prso style of striker. Think we've got a couple of seasons left in Dafoe (if he stays) and a good strong CF would link up with him perdectly. We look strong in most areas but after Friday nights game I know we really MUST bring in a striker asap. 🇬🇧.

We don't play with 2 up front ( like majority of teams these days) so how are they going to be able to link up?

2.) 21 Jan 2020 10:08:02
Buddy blue couldn’t agree more if we were to loose Morelos to injury suspension or loss of form we are in big trouble if al our first team regulars stay fit keep their form going we are in a good place but loose one or two then the problems begin look at the Stranraer game squad players came in and did themselves no favours but goals win games and I agree we need cover.

3.) 21 Jan 2020 10:53:28
I think Sam cotsgrove from Aberdeen as a striker option. He’s a target man, physical likes a battle. I know as much as we detest him sometimes he’s a good player. Add something else to our set piece play.

Defoe or Alfie won’t be around forever. 🔴⚪️🔵.

4.) 21 Jan 2020 13:30:42
Bigalthunder, rangers would need to win a triple rolll overr in the lottery to get cosgrove because that's what aberdeen value him at, lol.

5.) 21 Jan 2020 16:02:14
A Cosgrove style player is exactly what is missing from our current set up. Its the only thing SG has not tried so far.

6.) 21 Jan 2020 16:59:13
I'm sure the manager knows exactly what he is doing regarding footballers and carthorses. He also has a system that uses one up top and he's not going to change that because some of us seem to think that most clubs now play with two up (which they don't) . In other words, don't hold your breath waiting for him to sign a talentless battering ram.

Watching last night's game it's clear that we seriously lack some basics like crossing a ball. Its shocking that. Over the last couple of months I have lost count of the wasted chances through this. Surely this is deemed as basic quality requirement in football? What are we doing in training for god sake? Not enough playmakers. nuff said!

I know that Tav seems to be the designated free kick man but for me, Barasic should be taking kicks as well. He was so unlucky not to score and his technique was incredible. The keeper didn't really get near it. Some of Tavs crosses can be way off mark at times and we really should be capitalising on set pieces more. As for corner kicks to goals ratios, we just don't seem to be geat in that department. Team are on fire now and i'm really impressed with the start of our games now. The pace is amazing to watch. I like what we are doing now but I fear its too late to catch the manky mob. Still have faith though and i'm confident they will drop points.

One is left footed the other is right footed - that might play a small part in who takes what free-kick.

2.) 01 Mar 2019 10:44:27
Let's not get carried away with one decent free kick from him, Halliday's dead balls against the mhanks on 29th Dec caused them all sorts of problems, but there's not a call to put him on set pieces.

3.) 01 Mar 2019 14:32:31
Bring back albertz! Don’t care what age he is lol what a left peg.

4.) 01 Mar 2019 16:17:27
Gersdaft - if only!

5.) 01 Mar 2019 18:16:23
Imagine how much he would be worth now? A strong talented midfielder with a cannon for a left peg n guarantees 10-15 a season, don’t think we could afford him lol.

6.) 02 Mar 2019 06:35:01
Gersdaft. We couldn’t now afford the £4m we paid for him then, never mind what he might be with now.

Can anyone explain the Steve Clarke MELTDOWN on Sky Sports last night? I was ar the game and sat behind the Killie dug out. I honestly didn't hear anything out of order being directed at him. He gave a recognition thumbs up when the stadium called him a *anker but that's about it.

Clark is a bitter twisted hypocritical clown who obviously only hears sectarian chanting when we beat them, it's pathetic, can't wait till he gets brenda job and loses it completely 🇬🇧.

2.) 21 Feb 2019 07:46:55
He was given a rendition of cheer up Stevie Clarke
I think that is what he is bothered about.

3.) 21 Feb 2019 07:54:29
I'm assuming it's when the blue order started with the "cheer up Steve Clarke. " chant.

4.) 21 Feb 2019 08:08:26
If he was really bothered about it, why give the thumbs up in recognition. He really is twisted and should concentrate on managing his team. For me, it was all about teaching Killie a severe lesson on how how to win a football game. Fans were amazing and we showed Mr Clarke what RFC is all about. We ARE the people folks. 🇬🇧.

5.) 21 Feb 2019 09:06:21
It was the use of the term 'fenian', he objected to. As he said call him a ****er if you want but why does thee term 'fenian' need to be brought into it?
Its viewed by most Scots as sectarian and most grounds broadcast announcements saying sectarianism will not be tolerated.
Only in Scotland and only with certain teams is religious reference a factor in their songs.

6.) 21 Feb 2019 10:57:42
I remember as a kid singing that word and cringing. I still cringe when I hear it. I do sing that song but never with that word. I always say dirty I place of it.

Its all being said today fellow bears. We could split this into sections at fault all day, but NO service to our strikers means NO goals. We want to constantly play square passes in midfield all night long, without actually attacking from midfield. Its ANOTHER lesson learned for SG, but to lose an entire game to a defensive mistake and a shot at goal that really should have been saved is simply not good enough. In short, Rangers last 8 games. how many goals scored? Soeaks for itself. WE ARE THE PEOPLE, so let's start proving it to everyone else.

Ye last 8 games we’ve dominated position but done nothing with end product we were well ahead of Aberdeen they’ve caught us up on about winning league but not even guaranteed 2nd or even 3rd if we keep dropping silly points.

I would luke to see Docherty play in the Arfield role for a couple of games. He is physically strong and I think he would excell in that position. I thought he was being brought back to play that role but he seems to be trying everything when he gets on.

Brophy has been a pain in our arse all season. He plays a fast break style that i think kent could link up with. don't see it happening though.

Remember seeing him against Rangers and thought "why is this guy with Dundee. " He is very quick and sharp and takes men on. As I said previously, we don't have a midfielder like him and i'm really pleased we have him NOW. 🇬🇧🇬🇧.

He is very quick and can take men on easily. In my opinion, he is exactly what our midfield lacks at present. i'm pleased we have him NOW.

Saw Katic at Helsinki game and I knew he was ready to come back into team. Looks fit and strong, so I hope Goldson recovers quickly to pair up with him again. If we had pressed a bit more from midfield it could have been a lot more. Great and much needed win after break.

Personally, I would love to get the two of them. Always liked Kamberi, he is pacey and would link up really well with good playwes around him. cue Rangers! Dykes is the type of player I've been banging on about for ages. I like what SG is trying to put together here, although there will be supporters that want more in terms of signings. Shame how the Jordan Jones thing has played out, I really though he would excel at Rangers. The gers march on folks! 🇬🇧.

Apologies orangetinted but i'm just venting a wee bit. However, if we are ALL saying similar things why can't the coaching staff see this? i'm so proud of what we are trying to achieve but its so frustrating to be so close, only to make the same mistakes as we did last season. Onwards folks🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧.

Please tell me that there are Rangers supporters out there that can see we are being outpaced in central defence? Edmundson and katic are both fast and should be given a chance to play together. We need to prevent fast counter attacking play and I have no faith in our current defensive set up if this is to be achieved. I get the squad scenario and why it is important in order to sustain a season but come on folks, we are crying out for pace at the back. Also, a right footed player at left back? i'm not having that at all.

Horrible game to watch yesterday. didn't understand the team selection to be honest and I agree with all that's being said here. Aribo was sand dancing for most of the game and although he can be silky, he is not a strong tackling midfielder. Tav is most definitely off the boil and is not the player he was when Candias played. He needs that type of support and don't tell me ojo is the plan for a Candias replacement because he clearly is lost in the hussle and bussle of the Scottish game. 3 points in the bag and we march on, but too much team changes are going to lose us unessessary points. Give Polster a crack on the right with Tav and let's see what changes. Follow Follow folks. 🇬🇧.
