Surprised at the calls to drop Rothwell on here. Under the new system a 6 that drops back to pick up from the CB's is vital. His composure has been excellent so far. Raskin more effective further up the field, and Cameron's energy was electric. If anything Dio should come out for Raskin on last nights showing. A real conundrum when Aasgaard is fit too.
Dessers a shoe-in at 9, if he's sold we have a real problem as need an all round finisher and hold up player. Not sure if Turgeman's has this in his locker, although have not seen enough of him.
LB has to be the priority for next signing. Fully behind the Martin project, this is only going to get better and better, so long as we show the same desire against SPFL sides.

Still not 100 percent sure on Rothwell, hammer but i think he would look a lot better with dio out the team seems to have to cover for him quite a lot as dio is becoming a very lazy player imo.

As I said before RM seems to be able to change the team ie: Plan B, Plan C etc. Recent managers only had Plan A.

Raskin is better than Rothwell playing the 6. Raskin, Cameron and Asgaard I reckon is our best 3. Dio was very poor last night.

I thought rothwell had a fantastic game last night. Absolutely great game.
He's definitely a cracking player who we are lucky to have.
However, raskin is the best 6 at the club and in the country and he should be starting at 6.
Cameron to his right and Aasgard to his left.

Raskin and dowell are similar in thr 6. and don't think they can play together. 1 or other imo.

Long season lot of games, they all will get plenty of game time, been along time since we could make subs and team will just be as strong, few weeks to window so you never know what could happen.

I thought Rothwell was one of the poorer performers last night.
His lack of legs really showed up and at times he dropped way to deep and actually prevented the defence from pushing up.

Was that the thinking at the club Ehl?
I thought his one twos and always being availible for the ball was excellent he done the stuff that goes unnoticed imo, and it looks exactly like the case.
He played the 6 role very well in possession. Maybe u thought out of possession he didn't?
When we had the ball he had a great game.
