Martin was very true on what he said on Saturday and clearly the players payed attention, I don't get his ego thing gazza, Tavernier and Raskin out for not pulling thier wait against Motherwell, Danilo out because Dessers is match ready amd Dowell out for the wonderful Antman.

The system was the same he just changed players. the movement and attitude of those players and having a natural RW made the difference.
good to see you Gassa8 but perhaps doing more than adding an 8 to your name might make you more difficult to spot ??.

No it wasn't there was no inverted full backs, difference was night and day from the Motherwell game, more urgency, movement, adaptable interchanging cover, forward thinking, very little faffing about at the back, players working as one, some players back in their own position more or less, all missing at the weekend. Totally disjointed but not last night.

The system was different. Full backs and wingers stayed wide and cm's stayed central. Very little of this inverted crap.

The system was totally different Angus sorry, that's like saying all 433s are the same system. He answered the question of if he can play different and showed he can. There was great variation between staying short or going long seen at start of 2nd half ball back to Butland and they all stayed forward and he launched it instead of collecting it to pass between CBs. FBs mostly stayed wide and played down the wings instead of cutting inside or backwards. Was pleased to see it.
