Think any rangers fan would be happy to stay at the club there full career if not pushed out the door like Alan hutton was. If your getting the chance to play in EPL it means your a top player for thr club so likely be on 20/ 30k a week anyway.

My heart says stay at Rangers as long as possible.
My head says you will become a better player in the EPL playing some of the best players in the world rather than going to play on a plastic pitch with the opposition parked behind a bus. Not to mention the money.

Rangers fanatic since I first stood up 56 years ago, in my 25 years of football in lower leagues I knew and consider friends who had great opportunities to leave and earn great money down south, many stayed there and now work either still in the game or at something else, a few like my old mate Robert Fleck had a great career there, but the nagging reality that if it happened to me and I was lucky enough to play with my club, I would leave probably never to return and give up would break my heart, but money and lots of money talks.

It happens many of us can be wrong. But hey ho. The reason they brought three ch back and bought one was because they knew they were selling ch.
Also due to financial fp they already has an agreement with uefa re they had to sell some players and spend less on purchase.
This could well affect decision to buy alf but is not related to need to purchase replacements at ch.
Lille actually have an exceptional recruitment strategy which many would do well to look at.

No. Why would any fan accept throwing a European run! Last season we played 18 games in Europe and we did it without having any real strength in depth beyond our main starting players for the season. We all enjoyed the great run and it put us back on the European map to some extent. This season if we get through to the group stages we’ll have played 3 qualifiers as opposed to 8 last season and we’ve got a stronger squad to chose from. If we qualify and Celtic don’t then that’s their problem and will be more indicative of their players struggling to cope. I’d never wish Rangers to throw any match - we’re better than that.

With the whole C.V. situation I think that all euro competitions will have a major impact on league football, I would never throw in the towel but if we failed to qualify it wouldn’t be the end of the world! Europe will cause havoc this year with quarantine from certain countries.

Football teams are not effected by the government quarantine list (as far as I’m aware) . As long as all set out precautions are taken and rules followed and as long as all regular testing continues then teams are ok to travel to these countries without having to quarantine on return. If that wasn’t the case then there would be no way any of international games or club European games could realistically go ahead.

What a huge masterstroke by Dave King it was in bringing in Gerrard.
A massive gamble at the time but now bringing dividends. Our squad value is high in assets we're now making money from lots of off field business deals since also bringing in Bisgrove and our castore deal and Ross Wilson what a position our club is now in and i'm very much looking forward to the future as things get even better. Thank you Rangers and a big thank you to Dave king for getting the big blue machine back into overdrive.
