I see Darius Olaru started for FCSB tonight, could it be that the club president is at it to try force Rangers and other clubs into making a move?

I think he is talking about the alleged bud that’s been accepted usually a player doesn’t play in a game if a bud has been accepted.

The FCSB said the club received a 6million Euro bid that has been accepted. If it’s been accepted it’s normally a case that the player would be flying to wherever his new club is to do a medical, sign contracts, pics, etc.
If he’s playing tonight that’s a bit odd. However, it could be viewed as a crucial game for FCSB. Maybe the deal they have is to sell him AFTER this qualifier. Who knows.
It really is all guesswork at this point. Really weird situation though. Imagine someone bid £10m for Morelos, Rangers accepted it, but Morelos still played for Rangers and we had no idea who had a bid accepted. Strange.

strange one Airdrie but you could be right he might be playing a game to try n force a bidout from teams too get the most money he can, if teams believe a bid has been accepted of 5 maby he's hoping that others will come in with higher but it dose seem a tad odd unless an agreement has been made too let him play a game or two before he goes, but then run risk of injury

Its pretty common for players to sit out of games if a transfer was at advanced stages - so the fact he started is probably an indication that any potential deal is still a bit off. be it with us, or another club.

I sadly translated a Romanian article pre game. Seems the player himself doesn’t know too much about the bid. His quote was along the lines of “he’s focused on FCSB and the game, doesn’t want to think about a transfer”
Just translated the post game interview. Nothing mentioned about him saying farewell to fans or anything. Apparently his moment of magic saved the game for Steaua with a beautiful assist.

I believe Rangers will bring in a new striker once Roofe and some others are moved on. I wouldn’t expect big money to be spent because Morelos will be back from injury soon. You don’t spend on a big money player, to cover for a short-term injury.
Maybe Rangers could still get the young lad Archer on loan he would be ideal.

person, I don't think Gio sees Sakala as a striker. He made a comment during an interview recently that he currently has 1 fit recognised striker in colak.

It happens many of us can be wrong. But hey ho. The reason they brought three ch back and bought one was because they knew they were selling ch.
Also due to financial fp they already has an agreement with uefa re they had to sell some players and spend less on purchase.
This could well affect decision to buy alf but is not related to need to purchase replacements at ch.
Lille actually have an exceptional recruitment strategy which many would do well to look at.

I think we do need another lb as we all know Borna is a pussyfoot at the best of times so with 6 months remaining he will not be putting a foot in or trying incase he gets injured we all seen it last year with Kent and co. He's looking out for himself now not the team.

Couldn't agree more David it would be excellent. Smal look's like he is solid defensively Manhoef looks tricky and will add creativity to hopefully a new striker. I liked the look of Denkey but the total spend on all the above as well as Diomande it would be hard to see happening but we live in hope . A striker is paramount Dessers isn't deadly enough but if he gets an injury we are snookered.

I think compete at the highest level possible, we are a Europa league level side. I do think we could go deep in the conference league though.
