I see atletico madrid signed spurs right back kieran trippier today for £21.7million. Just got me wondering what our very own right back james tavernier would be worth and what fee would be deemed acceptable to us, if clubs came in for him? Any thoughts bears? I have always rated tav and wouldn't accept anything less than between £10-£12million for him. The only reason our friends from the eastend will get as much as £25million for kieran tierney, is down to him playing regular for them, in the champions league. I honestly don't think there's much difference in ability between tav and tierney.

I am Rangers thro and thro but get real Tierney is far better than Tav i am afraid to say. Can only help us if he goes to Arsenal.
From a Scotland prospective such a shame Andy Robertson and him play a similar role.

You’ve posted the same thing twice before coops (once when comparing against Wan Basaka and again against Ternary) nothing’s changed in the 6 weeks, he’s still a £5m player due to age, lack of European and top league experience and lack of international experienced. He was playing in the Scottish championship a few seasons ago. He’s not leaving, not signing with Man U and remains our club captain, simples!

The main difference between them is pribably Tavs defensive abilities. Better than teirney going forward. But with teirney playin champs league and winning every trophy for last 3 seasons value will b higher. Same as all there players.

Hands down every time KT abetted player tho I don’t think he is worth 25mill if they get it then good on them.
He had a lot of injuries last year.
I wouldn’t want to sell Tav I was one of his biggest critics but last season he was exceptional.

Tav is fit and played approx 60 games last year. KT isn’t and can barely play 3 games in the bounce.
You can be the best defender on the planet but if you ain’t fit your no use to anyone! I know who I’d rather have in my team!

Tav is no world beater but he is so effective in our league, his goals and assists is irreplaceable for the money we would spend on a replacement. Hopefully Barasic can kick on on the other side and we will be a force this season. We will concede goals for sure with the way we play but we will score loads too and I think we will be even better this season with the wingers tucked in and scoring more as inside forwards. Tav must stay!

I didn't compare trippier to tav in my op. If you think you read that then your seeing things. If you redeem it tripe for me to talk up tav, then that says more about you than me. Tavernier is not in the same class as trippier. The Scottish premier league is of a very poor standard The only reason Tierney is getting sold for a good price is because of his champions league and international experience and trippier played in the World Cup semi final for goodness sake! We would be very lucky to get anywhere near 10 million Tavernier.

Just a wee heads up here fellow bears. The rangers shop at st. enouch's square in glasgow has got a lot of the training half zip training tops, in this morning. Various colours ie. the blue half zip, the grey half zip, black and orange half zip. Just incase any of you were wanting any of these training tops, as they have been extremely difficult to get your hands on. I bought the 2 tone blue half zip and the light grey half zip this morning. Thought i would let everyone know.

Charlie Austin been told to train with youths at Southampton and club will accept £8m. If we get £15m plus for Morelos we should look at him, see if we can get him for maybe £5m plus add ons. Would be that physical presence Lafferty was meant to be and would score for fun up here. Bit more realistic than Sturridge.

Austin would be a superb signing for us and would score 20+ goals easily. Yes he has had a few injury problems but that is to be expected when you are constantly in and out of a team and your body doesn't get a chance to build up match fitness.

Waghorn was and is a decent player, he scored a lot of goals for us but got slaughtered when he had a lean spell. He's doing quite nicely in the Championship with 25 goals in last 2 seasons, so good luck to the lad.
