The best thing about tonight's result is that both teams will now play on a Sunday. When the dims where playing the Sat it was putting a wee bit of pressure on us to get a result on the Sunday. So now a level playing field.

Neil lennon wasn't wanted by a lot of them when rodgers made an a**e of them and left them in the rubbish.
They are worried there's no doubt about it. If we beat the teams we're supposed to beat, then i'm confident we'll win the league this season. So much for their tyre lips captain. He was seemingly dire and played like the old man he is. Our midfield will run over him at ibrox on the 1st of september. Really do hope that ryan jack stays at rangers for the rest of his career. He's becoming the complete midfielder under gerrard and is still only 27 years old, with his peak years still in front of him. Ryan Jack is a rangers supporter and he clearly loves playing for us, so its a strong possibility that he could commit to staying with rangers,
for the duration of his career. He's playing some stuff.

I'm totally loving all these former players and so called football experts say that the dims still have the best team by far and with a war chest of 40 plus million will continue to dominate Scottish.

Now I'm no football expert and have never claimed to be, but what will say is that the dims are not a better team but a more consistent team based on last season as apart from the first half of the first old firm our team dominated these games and mostly total outplayed the dims esp at Ibrox.

As for the 40 million war chest. Again I'm no financial expert but come sense tells me, that if you bid say 8 million for a player, he is going to want 8 million price bracket wages ie 30k plus per week and the dims will not pay that esp with the issues they have had with trying to reduce their wage budget.

Imo the dims are where we where last season with several players needing to bed in and get use to their style of play. So far this season they have played well, however on the 2 occasions that they have faced a better quality team, they have only managed to scrape a draw.

I’m not worried about our head to heads v them as we are good enough to beat them at least the two home games, our ability to break teams down that sit right in is not as good as them and they have midfielders who are better at shooting from distance which helps when teams are sat in. To be champions you need to beat the rest and let the Head to head games take care of themselves, you could probably beat every one else and not win an OF and be champions.

When have they ever spent £40 million in real terms on players?
Hartson said we were £100 million away from them! Didn’t we play them off the park twice at Ibrox? And the 2nd game at Parkhead it took Brown to cheat to help the supposedly superior Celtic win and even then with 10 men we gave them a torrid time.
Consistency was our downfall. Grinding out results was our downfall.
Well I think the Killie game on a difficult pitch, after a European game could have been points dropped in the past . But we kept going and got all 3 points even though we never played well.
It’s definitely game on this season. 👍.

Surely being consistent is a measure of being a better team. Pretty sure Aberdeen could lay the same claim against us considering they had a better head to head last season. Our squad is definitely stronger this season but the team needs to prove it on the park before we get ahead of ourselves.

2 games in and its well underway. Rangers only won because of the ref sending hibs player off. Nothing being said about some dodgy decisions at Fir Park tho, i. e Nick Walsh failing to give Motherwell a penalty at 1-1 when the game was end to end.

I don't care about them! we have had the hardest draw for the start of the season! And we are doing great I've said before and I will say it again the first seven of our league campaign will determine our season.
