Anyone know what height Bassey is? Sure someone said less than 6 ft? If so I'd say that's a wee bit short for modern day cb if he gets played there. Rumours bubbling away about an 18 year old right back from Leicester, apparently a right good player.

Im looking at a pick in training of him and George next to each other. George is 6 2, Calvin looks not far of that and is some unit like G. Our management team seem to have figured out to win in the SPL it helps if youve got some tall athletic heavy hitters that will put the shyters up the opposition.

Who said he was under 6ft? Look on his twitter theirs pics of him tsanding next to edmundson and he's slightly smaller than him i'd say he's atleast 6ft 2 maybe 6ft 3.

See if you see George standing next to goldson or katic although the fridge is a unit he’s a few inches shorter than both goldson, katic and Helander so maybe Bassey if slightly shorter than George is indeed under 6 foot. Perhaps his playing style has been comparable with mings not his height.

Just done again and have found 3 sites. One puts him at 5 ft 8 one 5:10 and the other 6 foot. So sounds like they could be from different timeframes, either that or guesswork. definitely not near 6ft 6 tho lol.

Not sure how much he would cost but Imagine it would be around the £15M mark. Although Norwich have been relegated from the richest league in the world they are Entitled to a huge parachute payment and are also playing in the 6th richest league in the world.

Don’t think you can poach their players for pennies. Don’t think they need the money.

Got a 6 min fix of the bounce game on Rangers TV, feel like I've had a vitamin injection. I know only for fitness and experimentation but they looked fit and hungry. They made loads of chances just need to put them away, hopefully sharpness will improve over the next few weeks. Ross Mcrorie BTY showed a very good turn of pace to catch up with a fwd over take him a scoop the ball of him, was thinking Hellanders on drugs till I seen a close up. Bassie looks like a unit and Fred is not fat.

I'll need to watch these highlights. I read Ibrox Noise summary of the bounce game v Accies and it didn't sound promising
1. Alfie looks like he'd rather be anywhere else other than rangers,
2. Goldson error prone again and looking to blame everyone else
3. Murphy far too predictable
4. Overall looks like we've continued with pre lockdown form

It’s the start of a new season. Let’s show a bit of faith in Stevie G and the team. Let’s wish them all the best and hope for every success in the season to come.

Also love hearing about the rumours. I was brought up in a time where we were linked with some wonderful players in the newspapers. Loved looking at the back pages to see who we were linked with. Please everyone keep posting what you hear from pals, work mates, people in the pub, etc. I’d rather read that than the posts which just put people down all the time.

Good post baz there's definitely a line between being critical and negative about the team.

What's hard for our preparation this year is we have to prepare for a season with a new team with any players we may sign and with last season's squad for the Leverkusen game.

Never use pre season games as a guide how many times have we done that in the past and been wrong?

Murphy doesn't seem to have done his chances any harm and bassey getting a goal is positive. Anyone any info on how everyone played heard it was 2 going on 20.
