Igglepiggle, where did you hear all this mate? I always suspected right enough that gerrard would keep tav as captain, but i honestly think/ thought alfredo morelos would be sold! Maybe because of the unfortunate very worrying C.V. C.V., that no club will pay us what figure we're asking for, regarding alfredo.

I'd be a very happy rangers supporter if alfredo morelos does stay with us until at least january.
Alfredo guarantees goals, so why wouldn't any bear want to keep hold of him, for as long as possible. In saying that i've been told atletico madrid is his next likely destination, when this transfer window gets up and going.

Good chance he will stay bit longer unless we are prepared to radically lower our valuation. Hopefully he can start the season strongly and restore value in advance of January sale.

John25, the boy is desperate to leave, he does not want to be in Glasgow. If his stock and reputation had not taken a hit I doubt he would return in July. Would love him to prove me wrong and return, play a full season, score 40 goals and win the league. Unfortunately I don’t believe he cares about our club.

Having personally spoken to Alfredo I can confirm bankie is spot on 🙄. Forgetting his mrs has just gave birth maybe they won't be looking to up sticks and leave and he will knuckle down and focus for the forseeable future.

I don't think Morelos has hid the fact he wants to play in one of the top leagues. Not sure that means he doesn't care about the club.
If he does leave this summer I'd be very surprised if his replacement scored the amount of goals he has.
I personally hope he stays for another season.

You're spot on John25.If morelos has scored a barrowload of goals by january then undoubtedly we need to keep him for the full season, hoping he can do the same in the business end of the season and secure us the league title!

Some interesting/ differing views above, what I think is, there is no way Tavernier should remain Captain of or Club, the guy is not a winner, and, didn't Alfie score a barrowload before January this season, and look what happened.
We need people who will sweat blood for that jersey, those two players will not in my opinion if the going gets tough. SG will have to prove he is able to change formations and style of play also, if we are to win anything this coming season, I hate to say it, but Lennon did just that to get that unbeaten run after January, more courage required in our decision making.
