I'd look to sell him in the summer his wages are too high and there is better value keepers out there with a potentially high sell on profit of we sign a keeper at say23-26 age range that should be our target.

Give him a new contract, he's proved this season how good he really is and we would be in an even worse state without him. Even if we want a new goalie get rid of Kelly and bring in somebody to actually compete with Jack for the jersey.
A young guy like Charles might be a good idea to develop but is he really better than Butland, now?

In the 2025–2026 season for Hertha BSC, his performances have been very solid. With 5 clean sheets in 10 matches and a 76% save percentage, he is a standout player in the 2. Bundesliga.

It's a hard one way big jack his shot stopping is absolutely class at times, if he didn't have so many blunders in him it would be an easy choice. He's also becoming a master at penalty stops, but i'm undecided at this point.

If we can get a decent fee then I'd sell. Has great moments and has saved us on lots of occasions so happy if he stays too but I'd like a bit more of a commanding presence who helps organise his back line and has better distribution.

Sorry Asa, I really enjoy your posts but we need continuity and experience. We wany men who want to be here and fight, bring leadership and not just look to be running a business.
We probably don't need a wee boy from Germany coming straight into a high pressure club and learning on the job. He'll probably be great but constant change at our club is making me dizzy.

I think if we got a serious offer for him we'd cash in. I didn't expect any interest in him this summer after his form last season. Let's see how he goes for the rest of the season. He's started very well and is a good stopper with the occasional blunder.
A few in a team who score goals you can accept but if it's regular like last season it only ends one way. No offer just now. Revisit in April.

Hopefully sell him at the end of this season as he will be the 2nd highest paid member of the squad after Tav. With him Tav and Matondo of the books then we save over £5 million a year on those 3 alone.
