When we look at clawing back a 13 point lead then normally yes that would be very achievable, but in reality with this squad we have played 9 games and amassed a grand total of 12 points. This current squad does not have the heart, desire or ability to do anything other than lie down and take the beatings dished out to them on a weekly basis.
What are we basing the comeback of all comebacks on?
Is it because we just won our first league game at Ibrox against the mighty Kilmarnock which is an embarrassing statistic to say the least and testament to this squads efforts and desire this year.

In all honesty what's happened on the other side of town is bad news for us. Celtic were struggling badly and this has came at the worst possible time for us and hearts imo.

After 12 games last season Aberdeen were sitting pretty with 32 points. After 25 games Aberdeen were clinging on with 35 points. Lot of football between now and May. Hearts have had no Europe and enjoyed playing weekend to weekend thus far. They have a midweek trip to Paisley to navigate this week. Busy fixture card for everyone now.

What we have seen is a squad who have not been coached and told that they aren't good enough to play in the ridiculously flawed system that our impostor of a head coach seemed to think was wonderful.

Just need to focus on ourselves and get our own act together before we can make any claims of league wins, loads of points to play for but untill we start knocking up wins and consistently then we cannot even suggest winning the league, i do feel if we can beat hibs and Celtic on Sunday it could be huge in terms of confidence for the players and ease the stands worries a bit, hopefully kick start a truly horrific season so far
My star you should predict hearts or Celtics to win the league cause your predictions / curses are like that Rapper Drakes.

I agree three cheers. I'm happy with Rohl but he's got his work cut out for next couple of months at least until he can make changes. Rodgers falling out with Celtic board doesn't suddenly make our players better. Lack of heart and desire has gone back longer than this season too from certain players so not all on Martin being a useless imposter.

Looking at history the league is usually won anywhere from high 80s to 100 points. 55 season we had 102 points. Celtic finished with 77. They are actually worse off at this stage this season than they were the 55 season.
I reckon 85 points wins the league this year. I don't think hearts will implode but they'll stumble.
Which means we'd need to take about 73 points from 87 available.
But one game at a time as they say. This season will be mental.

I also think Rodgers walked away because he's understood they have no chance, self preservation. What they do in January might make me change my mind.
