Every club needs a player like connor Barron in their midfield. Not the most technical but has a terrific engine and breaks up play ? Missed him today absolutely no doubt ?.

Aasgaard isn't a liability because he got a red card, it's football and it happens. Was clearly a complete accident and his eyes were fixed on the ball.
Easy to say he should have pulled out but it's a split second decision and he was unfortunate. Aasgaard is also an attacking midfielder there to create, Barron does not offer the same offensively 61 games and 0 goals and 2 assists would support that, he'a a different type of player and of course was also suspended.

I've always been a fan of Baron, I've said it before, with the right support and development he could be our equivalent of McGregor.

I might take abuse for this but Barron isn't in the same league as McGregor. They are totally different players. That laddie for as much as I hate him is everything we have been crying out for, for a long time. He's a leader, can create, chips in with goals motivates his team mates and loves the club he plays for.
Barron has potential and was a big miss for us today as we missed his energy but I think his development is going to be hampered as we have Raskin and both are very similar.
IMO Raskin will be away in the summer and then we will start to see the best of Connor Barron when he can nail down a regular starting spot. If he achieves half of what McGregor has at them then he will have done well.

55 loyal, McGregor signed for Celtic because they were the first club to offer him a contract according to his family, his family are all true Rangers fans& they don't speak too him.
