How frustrating is it that they are on their knees, and an absolute shambles, and we're still 5 points behind them in the league.

If we want to make a statement, and heap even more pressure on them, then we must knock them out the cup on Sunday. If we can't beat them when they are at crisis point, then it's nothing short of a disaster.

If DR was up against it from the start, then it's intensified ten fold after last night's events. Anything less than a victory will be seen as a total failure, and will really set him back.

All the pressure is on us now, and we must deliver!

We're also mid crisis as well so would say it's a 50/ 50 game tbh.

28 Oct 2025 11:17:55
They are a shambles but can't get too carried away mate. Need to remember we are still a long way off too and going to be a hard run until Jan when hopefully we can change things. Putting on extra pressure saying defeat would be disaster is forgetting we've only won one game. We're still miles off it ourselves before we look at them.

I believe absolutely nothing has changed for a Rangers perspective.

At Rangers winning every match is an expectation.

The only extra pressure is from those that want any excuse to belittle Danny Röhl and to claim they are right in believing he will be a failure.

Celtic are in a bad way but they have now got rid of the poison in the team just like we did with Martin.

To be honest SS
I think Danny Röhl is going to need time. He's only just come into the job, and it's a massive task stepping into a club like Rangers with the expectations that come with it. I'm still not convinced we've got a league-winning squad at the moment there are too many areas that need real improvement.

I'd honestly be shocked if we managed to win the league with this current group of players. Some have quality, no doubt, but overall the squad looks unbalanced and inconsistent. Röhl's inherited a mix of players brought in under different managers, and it'll take time for him to get them playing the way he wants with his intensity, structure, and pressing style.

We need to strengthen in January if we can, and next summer will be absolutely crucial. Röhl needs the chance to build his own team, bring in players who fit his system, and move on those who aren't up to the standard required.
Along with prioritising the defence and goalkeeping dept!

If he proves me wrong and gets this squad performing at that level, brilliant I'll hold my hands up. But right now, I think he's got a serious job on his hands turning this season around.

For the time being, all we can do is take it one game at a time, try to build some momentum, and see if we can put together a proper winning run. If we can keep the pressure on, you never know football can change quickly as we know!

Danny has only won one game out of 2. We shouldn't get carried away with a manager that may or not have been 3 or 4th choice. We are still in a crisis and Celtic are still in a better position than us without a manager.

We are still in trouble although there may be hope yet. don't get carried away with the other mob we have issues of our own to deal with.

28 Oct 2025 11:53:16
Guys! They've just put a 73 year old, who's been out of management for 6 years, in charge. Stop making excuses!

28 Oct 2025 12:05:38
I think some just not happy with Rohl tbh if they think after one win after a thumping from Brann we're suddenly in a position to view losing an old firm game aa a disaster. We've a lot to do and will get better under Danny given time but no way can be seen as favourites this weekend.

28 Oct 2025 12:28:42
The Officials are always the 12th man for them. No matter how bad they are on and off the park they can always rely on the SFA's team to help make an 50/ 50 decision a 60/ 40 in their favour.

28 Oct 2025 12:31:34
Don't fall for all the stories about the quality of their players. They still have most of the squad that has been winning titles and although they have lost a couple they have added a few as well.
Some of their main men might be off form and they have injuries so have played a couple of youngsters but is not a given that they will be off it on Sunday.

We have been a far worse state recently and if Danny Rohl can pull off the win it will be great achievement.

Seems like a lot making excuses here, get a grip we must beat them and it will be a disaster if we don't. Ccv looks to be out for rest of season, Johnstone still injured, maeda injured could possibly make it but his head is elsewhere after his move collapsing in summer, iheanacho injured, hatate half the player he was 12 months ago, mcgregor passed it, engels never hit the heights. I've been vocal about our squad not being good enough but it's way better than theirs it wouldn't be hard. They have key players missing all over the park, if we can't beat them just now, we're better off chucking it.

Add to all the above a manager in place that didn't adapt to the modern game, that's why he's been out a job for years. I've said for weeks that Celtic aren't our problem this year, a blind man could see they were about to implode at any minute, that's happened, hearts are our main threat imo. This has got absolutely nothing to do with wanting to be right about Danny Rohl, I'm a 100% behind him but it will be a disaster if we don't beat them on Sunday lbh. Of course there's added pressure with recent events across the city, those pressures would have been the same with any manager not just Rohl.

28 Oct 2025 12:41:01
The great this is it is only 5 points. Could have been so much worse.

28 Oct 2025 13:12:05
Hefty sum on a Rangers win in that semi final, O'Neill is a very good appointment.
For us.

28 Oct 2025 13:21:03
Boy blue and sunshine ignoring their problems for a moment and focusing on us, what convinces u suddenly after one good game we're suddenly in a place that anything less than a victory is a disaster and should chuck it like it's an embarrassing result? Let's keep it realistic.

I'm hopeful but our defence is still garbage and rest have a lot of improvement to go before I go in expecting a win against them. We're less than a week on after a absolute doing from Asa's mob remember.

28 Oct 2025 13:30:25
?? making excuses we are a complete basket case of a club ?.

28 Oct 2025 13:30:53
Franco is right game is 50/50.

28 Oct 2025 13:57:34
Not making excuses, but you all saw how poor we were / are, one win doesn't make us the best team in the league and we certainly shouldn't believe our misfit of a team are better than theirs.

so yes i am wishing and hoping for a win but it certainly wouldn't be a disaster if we didn't. it would be a disaster if they humped us by 3 or 4 goals.

28 Oct 2025 16:44:28
Nothing but a win for me with there injuries, 3/ 4 of there best players are out, they've not beat us for 4/ 5 games. There's never been a better time. Imo it would be, maybe not a disaster but very poor and a hugely disappointing. If we had 3/ 4 of our starters missing it would be different, but it's not.

There's always extra pressure in an old firm anyone saying different is kidding themselves. I'll say it again i'm 100% behind Rohl, travelled to Bergen last week, will be there tomorrow and Sunday, couldn't really afford to, but wanted to show my support for him.

28 Oct 2025 19:12:18
I think we do have a good chance and I'm much more positive than before but it was being put across as nothing short of a complete disaster and a total failure and a massive set back of we can't beat them. Just think we need to remember what where we are too, Blue 4.
