100%, they're there for the taking and will need to integrate a new manager. We can absolutely beat them but we need the players to step up and be accountable.

We more than matched them with 10 men in the 2nd half. Extra time done us.

What about the 1st half. We are an average team at best who need imho 5 or 6 first tesm ready players to even consider any type of challenge and some of thdm must have experience.

They had Vickers, Johnston, Jota and iheanacho all out today and they were better than us, today was a great chance to get a final but we weren't good enough.

We've been saying this for 4 seasons, into our fifth manager. They've won nearly every major trophy in that time.
We're on a cycle of "we're not that far away from them" perpetually. Reality is, as they have gotten markedly worse the last two years we've still not won a meaningful game against them and from a league perspective we've struggled more against everyone else than them.
I'm sure at some point this "not far away" narrative will bear fruit.

Gdog I actually thought we had a better squad than them, but after today that opinion was blew right out the water. 4/5 main players out and that first half was like men against boy's, while they were calm and collected, we were the exact opposite, there was a nervousness about us from the first whistle.
They ran out of steam second half after putting in some shift.
