New user lads so take it easy ?
I read somewhere it took Rohl about 6/ 7 games to get things going at Sheff Wed, do you think our fans will cut him some slack for the first few games.
Personally I'd like to give him up to and including the Jan transfer window albeit I'm assuming he will be at the mercy of the current recruitment shambles.
In saying that, I'd like to think he can get an improvement from the current squad.

We can all see the damage done by Martin and most of us have zero faith in Thelwell and Stewart. So Rohl will have a tough task from the get go. Just hoping he can install a bit of confidence and get this team winning. The players also need to step up and start playing to their capabilities.

Due to everything that has went before him, he is up against it from day 1.
Rohl will be a victim by proxy due to the hatred we have towards Stewart and Thelwell. He's their man, and as a consequence of that, he will fall on their sword when it gets worse.
The majority fans didn't want him, and he is nowhere near qualified for the job. And before anyone posts 'what about Gerrard', I'd think about that one. If Gerrard was at the very top end of the spectrum, Rohl is a spec at the opposite side. Unfortunately for him, he is never getting the time.

Big difference trying to get sheff weds going in the championship after coming up from league 1 to getting us going in scotland, we don't have bad players we just need fresh ideas and a coach who the players will play for.

New guy on here guys. Englishman living in easterhouse for 20years. Big Millwall @ Rangers fan. Rohl young and will bring something totally diff. I just think we playing in top league with English championship players that are seriously not up to it.
Lot of money down the drain for rubbish. Most wouldn't have a chance of playing in my Millwall team. But rohl certainly got his work cut out. C. mon you gets.

Folk saying Rohl is Thelwell and Stewart's man. From what I've seen it appears as if it was Cavanagh that was the one particularly keen on him?.

Think most of the anger will be directed at Thelwell and Stewart so hopefully will be given bit more slack. Look at the difference in atmosphere even under Smith for most the game.

EHL I agree. I'd just be happy with a recognisable style of play and loads more effort shown by the team.

Sunshine I disagree with almost every word of that response.
Danny Rohl is inder pressure due to the embarrassing nature of some corners of the support who have thrown a strop.
Danny is more than qualified having served an apprenticeship that helped him work with some of the best players and managers around.
I dare say if Gerrard hæð such an apprenticeship he might actually have ended up a good manager.
Alas he did not and he is not.

Sunshine try and break through the clouds mate. U may not rate him but if u actually want to compare real qualifications then Rohl is miles ahead of where Gerrard was when he came. Assistant manager at Germany and Bayern etc trumps u18 coach by some distance. Stevie Smith probably has more actual qualifications than SG had so wouldn't judge him on that.

Frankly there is some amount of utter nonsense being posted here. Our new Head Coach deserves to be given the time he needs regardless of what has gone before him. The incompetence of Thelwell does not mean that Danny Rohl should be harassed should he fail to win his first game.
Frankly, the damage inflicted on our club since our last title win could take years to remedy and Rohl needs to be given the time to set it right. Giving him till January is frankly ridiculous, naming him a victim because of hatred towards others is repugnant.

John I think for many they have just decided whoever accepted the job must be Thelwells yes man but can't actually be bothered doing any research, a bit like those who only look at his wi rate.
