Talking to an agent today, he says the big boys are after igamane, Man City real psg

He believes we have a tidy sell on clause with a couple nice addons.

29 Oct 2025 14:43:45
Fingers crossed John.

29 Oct 2025 14:44:27
Good luck to the lad, hope he gets a huge transfer fee with a chunk heading our way.

29 Oct 2025 14:54:18
I hope this is the case John but at the time it was said there were no further sell ons with the release clause being met. Couldn't find any confirmation on this.

29 Oct 2025 14:57:08
Would be nice - guessing at least 15-20% due to transfer fee being lower - well hope so anyway.

29 Oct 2025 15:15:48
Not surprised by this. Always thought he'd go to the top. For anyone wondering, he can sign for a club in January but he can't play for them until next season. Only allowed to play for a maximum of two clubs in a season. He could sign for a team and be loaned straight back to Lille to finish the season.

29 Oct 2025 15:17:01
Good news!

Koppen did well with there.

29 Oct 2025 15:25:58
Sounds good John.

29 Oct 2025 15:28:18
A special talent John, capable of playing for anyone, very soon.

29 Oct 2025 15:28:24
Good on him. Luckily steptoe and son will have a conveyor belt of talent coming shorty.

29 Oct 2025 15:37:53
I went and read his stats

7 games total 193 minutes, 4 goals 1 assist a goal every 48 minutes
Europe total 185 minutes, in three games 3 goals, a goal every 62 minutes

Morocco 2 goals in qualifying

Add his Rangers stats appeared in 46 games scored 16: 3 assists total minutes 2650 so a goal every 165 minutes

Imo this suggests he is improving, we could argue he was getting played out of position, and also went 12 games without a goal.

Yes he wanted away but we were lucky to have him.

29 Oct 2025 15:51:58
Could be a good return if his price is driven up due to increased interest from the big clubs, cheers John?.

29 Oct 2025 15:56:21
Typical!

29 Oct 2025 16:18:06
Hope so John. I'm sure It was Koppen and Clement behind the good work with Igamane. They are now gone, not sure Thelwell will be finding us the next Igamane. Here's hoping Rohl has some good contacts.

29 Oct 2025 16:20:22
I know what u r saying, however my information and the agent I spoke to say this is not the case

The fact is because a player has a realise fee it does not mean a contract cannot have addons and sell on

I know this as a fact from personal experience

Ally rumour is 20%.

29 Oct 2025 16:22:03
Chas I, correct I suspect clubs and Lille will want to see how he does at World Cup.

29 Oct 2025 16:26:16
Very good natural talent.

I have never been shy about doubting his application and honestly thought there was a good chance of being Morelos 2.0.

Maybe it is just Rangers that are the problem I'm terms of player discipline.

He seems to have knuckled down and I wish the boy the very best in his career.

29 Oct 2025 16:27:58
Fork I really believe his next move could be in 40-50 million euros.

29 Oct 2025 16:39:08
Would be nice John??.

29 Oct 2025 16:50:40
Thanks for sharing info John, sounds very promising. The boy is a talent, no doubt.

29 Oct 2025 16:59:10
Rostosto, its alleged he came from koppen book of treasures.

29 Oct 2025 17:08:27
Thanks John ?.

29 Oct 2025 17:13:11
I would imagine once the release clause was negotiated Rangers would of made sure a % sell on was in it too. So maybe 20% sell on was included in the 10.8m release clause.

29 Oct 2025 17:21:04
Hopefully an epl club, money to burn, bring it on.

29 Oct 2025 17:39:54
Agree Asa I thought he could be another Alf, returning overweight, late, refusing to play.
However I wish him well and really hope he makes us more money.

29 Oct 2025 18:14:13
I assume sell on is on profit on fee paid but at that type of potential fee that's a fair old top up which we will def need.

Shame Koppen isn't here to bring in the next Iga or 2.

29 Oct 2025 18:16:34
Always said he'd go right to the top. The raw ability was just ripping out him. Always thought he should have been our no1 striker, many disagreed on here. Good info john ?.

29 Oct 2025 18:19:49
Thanks John again for info and clarification, really hope you're right. Just wish we'd handled him properly and it was us looking at massive fee.

29 Oct 2025 18:28:12
Thanks John 20% would possibly give us more than our transfer fee if the big boys are in for him.

29 Oct 2025 18:30:23
John, hunt that little book down. ?.

29 Oct 2025 19:20:44
I always ask the question did this lad want away or was he forced out the door. Under liewell and Martin i can only think the latter as there was never any mentions off a release clause till these charlatans came to our club.

we never got to here this lads side of things only that he said he had an injury and refused to play by Rm.
This boy was a special player and will go on to play for one off Europe's best teams.

29 Oct 2025 20:13:04
Igamane was a great player, it was clear he had to go to fulfill his potential as he wasn't going to do that in Scottish weather.

Sunnier climate, sunnier results.

The only piece of transfer business the board can be applauded on.

29 Oct 2025 20:37:57
Gassa igamane in an interview in June said he wanted to play in France. He was clear he wanted to move.

29 Oct 2025 22:32:55
Gazza he wanted away it was clearly obvious.

29 Oct 2025 22:35:06
He has such a talent John, we allowed Martin to stifle that, one more season could have made a huge difference to our club both financially and in terms of prestige, he would definitely have been a serious weapon, Martin truly is a clown and I'm almost ashamed to admit that I was happy when he came.

30 Oct 2025 05:01:40
Absolutely guys hamza igamane will make us very good money on his next move and has every tool in his locker to reach the top and play at the very top level ?John, what percentage was the sell on clause we have on him, in our agreement when we sold him to lille ?.

30 Oct 2025 08:55:14
Walter it's rumours but anything around 20 seems to be the favoured, this is on anything above 12 million euros.

30 Oct 2025 12:22:56
After his initial spell, I thought more and more that this boy has the talent to be a big star and hope that he does.
I don't know the background to him leaving but I get the feeling if Clement and Koppen had still been around we would have got another year from him before selling for bigger money.

Hope too, that the 20% sell on is correct although even that may not come close to what he's worth.

30 Oct 2025 13:20:01
I regularly check up on LOSCs results to see if Igmane scored again, his 3 recent goals were crackers, his value was 7mill when he was sold to Lille and has already increased another 5 mill to 12 mill, stand by my prediction Hamza will be in the 30 to 40 mill range by the end of the french season and he is till only 22, a far more complete player than morelos, yes letting Koppen go was a huge mistake especially as the club want raw talented youngsters at cheap prices to benefit from and sell on at profit, Koppens record in both the dutch league and the Belgian league speaks for itself, no suprise the clubs he was at in each respective league were winning regularly while he was bringin in the raw talent on the cheap and are still profiting now from his picks, the Morrocan coach we brought to Ibrox not long after siging Iagmane was the guy that turned Hamza from a low scoring youth into a rising star in morrocan football hence his signing to help with Hamzas continued development, prior to that pairing, Hamza was pretty mediocre in his first few season in morocco scoring very rarely.
can see him at a top club within the next 12 months and his value sky rocketing once which ever big club go in with the silly money on him.

i believe he will be in the 80 to 100 mill range by age 25, but we will not see a percentage of that profit.
we sold him far too cheap, and got well ripped, buying Chermiti with the money, we could have got a lot more, if we had played him earlier instead of letting him sit in the reserves for months and of course rarely playing him in his best position as a CF, but as a winger mainly, he would have hit double what he did if we played him straight away and as a CF, allowing him to be sold for around 20 - 25 mill, instead we got half that because we never learn, just like we had Bassey sitting around as backup to Borna for ages, and not as a CB, clubs have spent 50 mill on big Calvin and his value just moved up to 30 mill at Fulham in the EPL, see we could have a champions league quality side that would dominate the SPFL league and take trebles every season, but instead we sell any quality talent 1st chance we get and wonder why half decent Celtic sides beat us to the finish season after season while Celtic get closer and closer to bypassing our trophy haul records, easy to see why we are lagging now and have been for years, spending the talented player profits on dud after dud, in some cases wasting a lot more than we got and getting nowhere near the quality in return, while other clubs benefit from the players talent and make the big money from the resales.
we want success but sell every quality player that could help us have it.
Self inflicted though, until that changes, the trophy haul won't increase dramatically like it could have.

30 Oct 2025 15:38:01
He'll end up at PSG next, they always get talent from rivals before they hurt them in the long run like Doue (also play youth) and very much fits PSGs front line being mobility and roaming. He'd be stupid to chose City unless Pep moves back to having a 10 second striker and he'll get nowhere with Real.

If firmly believe he'd still be here if Clement was in charge still as he's credited him with his development or even if Rohl was in from the beginning. Ferguson and Martin didn't like him roaming about and doing his own thing which would of impeded his development, impact for the team and value. He's not an out and out striker, better with a strike partner or runners around him like Danilo, just watch how he is for Lille and he's learning under a very underrated Giroud (also a Arsenal fan).

30 Oct 2025 16:20:17
Extremely talented footballer and sure he will end up playing at an elite club sooner rather than later if his application is 100%.
Unfortunately at Rangers he was always played out wide, and not in the No9 position as Dessers was the preferred option.

30 Oct 2025 17:44:46
Regardless of positive spin promoted by some great posters on here it was a major error of judgement to let him leave. All down to Martin I'm afraid and his arrogance and poor management skills. From the start he sidelined the boy and made it clear he was not in his plans. Ofcourse the boy did wrong when he claimed to not fit enough to come on against St Mirren but by that time it was clear Martin's coat was on the way out and throwing the boy under the bus only made that clearer. Suggesting now that an additional say £5m will be earned when we could have earned the the full £40m at the end of the season and saved on £8m on a project player is a very weak argument.

On.

Copland his application is spot on, he will.
