Personally hate to deflect to the ref - but I think we're at the point we need a foreign ref to officiate these "neutral" OF matches.
Far too many mistakes getting made which get owned up to weeks later of absolutely no consequence. We can't keep going over this year on year, something needs to change. At the very least it highlights the fact the refs are not up to standard and need to improve.

At least we'll get another apology from Mr Collum. I so look forward to those ?.

Celtic would never allow that mate. It's the right idea but it has no chance.

The issue I have is not so much the ref for the tackle on Butland but var. 3 guys on var looking at it on telly slowling it down etc. No matter intent or level of force. He changed his footing and for me knew exactly what he was doing.
That is a straight red.
Blatant cheating for me now.

The ref and var were shocking the entire game. Though they are also not helped but the state that modern football has become when an absolute piece of skill can be a red card. If that was Messi or Ronaldo that did that 5 years ago you can bet your bottom dollar it would have been a free kick to the attacking side.

Pieter felling the same mate, was always thinking honest mistakes that has changed, and before todays game.

We need to believe it honest mistakes and fact refs are sub standard or the whole of scottish football is up the creek if we think it is deliberate
Asgard debatable but probably Red
Trusty no debate ball in Butlands hands then kicked in face endangering opponent Red
Ralston if penalty given for hand ball yellow which is second Red.

Can I give my view from the other side.
Rangers player definitely a red card
Trusty definitely a red card
Ralston not a penalty. He had a nudge on him, was going over and arms tucked in. If it was given against you guys you would be raging.
Maeda is a strange one because the ref actually impedes the play and as such should have stopped play and no booking. If he hadn't impeded the play Maeda would not have even made the tackle.
One thing that no one has mentioned was the foul that was not given when Cornelius fouled Osman late in ET and Walsh bottled it because he was already booked and would have meant a second booking.
That's my view and I am sure debate will rage on. As you all say Columbus will have his say.
Have to say you played real well in the 90 mins and were the better team in the second half.

Mojo it's a penalty when the ball is heading goalward and his arm or elbow blocks the shot in an unnatural position laying down in this case!
Trusty was a red as you say and baffled again as why var does not ask Walsh to have another look, even if Walsh thinks it's a yellow it's their role to take a closer look and it was clear and obvious.
Celtic over the piece deserved it for me and we didn't do enough or take our big chances.

Rosevale not spoken to a Celtic fan that doesn't think Trusty was stupid and lucky to only see yellow.
I would need to see the penalty again as first few times I really don't see how Ralston can avoid the ball.
Think someone else has said just because hand ball and penalty does not mean a yellow card so guess that explains that one.
Reading some Celtic posts and they are not impressed with the ref either so guess all about opinions on some of the decisions.
