I genuinely thought we played some lovely football first half yes a couple little scares but that's to be expected.

If we continue this style of football, playing out from the back with players that can't pass a ball 2yds then we are in for a few batterings this season.

I thought that was extremely poor. Tactically, I will be very surprised if this system ever works. In terms of selection, Dowell - just don't get it. Some neat touches but looses runners continually and doesn't offer a goal threat. Danilo ahead of Dessers is peculiar. Rothwell looks a wee bit side pass for me but hope that changes.

Played well? Constantly giving the ball away over the past 3 games i have never in my life seen a team give the ball away or get pick pocketed as much as we have. Dowell and Aarons is his favourites and are both shocking.

I thought we looked like a complete scare. Horrible to watch and no width. Where are the goals coming from? I feel a hard season is on the cards. Yet again can perform from Europe but fail in the league. Had a break from Rangers most of the summer and might just continue. Sorry for being so negative but a few deaths in my family reminded me that football really is not that important.

It's going to be another long season. RM promised risky aggressive possession based football. It's certainly high risk but very little aggression and so far very negative football. Early days but the signs are not great.
As things stand apart from Tavarnier not one of these players would get in Gerrard's title winning team. An indication of how far the standard has dropped.

The Rangers back four and Goalkeeper have more touches than the rest of the team put together. It's boring, slack passing, giving the ball away so cheaply causes us problems, we have a real lack of pace, players are unable to hold the ball in.
