Seeing rumblings across couple of sites, Hagi to be let go by Alaves n return to us, would he get on the bench now? Also Oli McB name not going away, 4 goals in EPL, is it enough? Hagi a maybe for me, McB prob a no, or could he do a job and do we need him?

{Ed001's Note - he can't play for you (in competitive matches at first team level) this season anyway. His registration will be held by Alaves until the next transfer window.}

Agree2 Disagree0

Cheers Ed was unaware, but was meaning in the summer, forgot to include that bud??.

{Ed001's Note - ah ok, he will be able to from then.}

??Cheers.

It would be best all round to move him on. He's nowhere near good enough to start, and to be honest, he's not good enough for our bench now. If we sell him, I can't see us recouping our money.

27 Feb 2024 08:58:35
Fork in my opinion Mcburnie would score for fun in our league and is a far better all round cf than the man many Rangers fans wanted signed in Shankland.

27 Feb 2024 08:59:44
Hagi is another one that has never kicked on for us and only had a handful of good games has to be let go in summer.

27 Feb 2024 09:07:36
I agree, My star, regarding McBurnie. He seems to be a bit of a joke among a few posters on here, but I truly feel, he would do a job for us.

27 Feb 2024 09:08:03
Think we will struggle at getting 2m for Hagi.

27 Feb 2024 09:14:44
Hagi was never given a chance in his natural position, he was always pushed out wide to accommodate lesser players in the No 10 position. In my opinion, he would be better than most options we have for that position. I can see him being given the chance next season if he shows desire in pre-season.

McBurnie will never be close to signing for Rangers, he's an absolute dud. Nobody, and I really mean nobody, would be mentioning him if he hadn't claimed to be a Rangers fan.

27 Feb 2024 09:24:58
Tending to agree guys about Hagi, for me he doesn't get in in front of Lunny, Lawrence, Diomande even big Sterling and others can do a good job in there, too many that are way better imo, oh i know he's a left back but even Yilmaz is popping up there.

27 Feb 2024 09:27:02
Hagi cannot run. Therefore cannot press effectively to be seriously considered for a role in our team. Nice lad but no room for sentimentality. If we can get a 2-3m fee for him that would be best.

27 Feb 2024 09:28:20
He may well do My Star, I'm just not sure tbh and do we need him now big Dessers and Silva are rotating, plus Danilo to come back, cortes and diomande settling in and scoring is a bonus, sima soon too. We're not too shabby now.

27 Feb 2024 09:29:22
Hagi is technically gifted but doesn’t have the physicality or athleticism to play in a Ckement team.

27 Feb 2024 10:10:52
Prefer to sign another CF as McBurnie is
not a prolific goalscorer.
Miovski is a better option.

27 Feb 2024 10:12:29
I don’t think mcburnie is good enough to be a nailed on starter for us. But I think he offers something we currently lack the ability to change it up in games. Have someone to pin defenders and put crosses into the box. I wouldn’t ever want us to pay money for him but on a free he’s definitely someone I wouldn’t argue against.

27 Feb 2024 11:21:11
I think a lot of you are forgetting what Hagi did bring. Direct aggressive passing that broke the lines. Shooting from distance. Scoring crucial goals. Team leader on the park. Put him under the guidance of PC and he could be better. To cast him aside without seeing him kick a ball again would be ridiculous and short sighted.

Give him game time again or at very least let PC monitor him in training. If he gets game time with PC but PC thinks he can go at least that way we will maximise his value.

Some here are too quick and too flippant with processes and bringing players on. Improving them or increasing their value for resale is vital! You don’t just toss them away!

At least we know that if Clement decides to let Hagi go it will be because we have better options and he is doesn`t fit with how we play . I like Hagi but, like Lowry, I trust this manager to do the right thing for the betterment of the team. I`ve already had my say numerous times, don`t want McBurnie anywhere near our club, he`s nowhere near the standard that we should be looking to bring in.

27 Feb 2024 11:54:54
Pretty sure that our manager would improve Hagi and McBurnie as he has with every other player in the squad.

Saying that, I doubt that either would fit into our plans for the future going by the recent signings that have been brought in.

27 Feb 2024 14:48:13
Another player that would score for fun up here, seen it all before
McBurnie would score a few but wouldn’t all of a sudden become Harry Kane.
Many have ventured up from down south thinking they would rip it up only to find out it’s just not that easy.

27 Feb 2024 15:32:32
Sima for me would make an amazing no9 if coached there. Really hope he becomes permanent.

27 Feb 2024 18:02:58
I would take Mcburnie in regards to hagi I think he will get pre season to impress the manager.

27 Feb 2024 18:53:57
Can’t see Clemont looking at McBurnie, if we win the league can see us going for Dhenky again and younger players coming into to take place some of those leaving.

27 Feb 2024 19:59:20
Can't see him looking at him myself Cooper.

My star, I agree. we need better.
