Guys, what's your views on Jordan Jones? I ask because i'm from Kilmarnock and the opinion from Killie is that he is no great loss. What I've seen of him i tend to agree, his final ball is atrocious, i really don't see what he'll bring to Rangers.

12 May 2019 00:35:24
I've not seen much of Jones, but I think the management team must see room to improve him with a bigger coaching staff, anylists and such . From what I see he's quick and brave but final ball (that old chestnut) lacking . The staff have made Ryan Kent more consistent this year than he's ever been and have stated they can improve his goals and assists ratio . Maybe j Jones is back up for Kent next year with an intensive devolepment programme ahead of him so he can be a big player the season after . That's what I like to think anyway. 🙈.

12 May 2019 06:59:44
well he's ripped the piss out us and them lot across the city more than a few times. final ball sometimes lacking. but what's new with us. we already have Candieas who does that very well,

12 May 2019 08:08:54
Billy Thompson stays a few door along from me and he has commented to me 2 years ago the JJ is a good player but the final ball is poor at times I am sure SG will know and work on the lads weaknesses
Remember we got him for about a £ tenner
If he is no good we can move him on.

12 May 2019 08:40:02
I think it’s fair to say his final ball could improve. He does well when he has space to run into but we normally face teams camped in. In saying that I do some work with the IFA and have watched him train on several occasions and he’s a box of tricks, direct and a powerful runner. He will improve with better players around playing in a team on the front foot. Keep the faith judge him after his first full year at Rangers not on his performances at Killie.

11 May 2019 20:32:56
I saw a story saying we should look at the young left back from killie. I know nothing about him but have a mate that's a killie fan and he reckons the boy will emulate Robertson. Sounds good buy. Also heard that West ham are looking to offload Reece oxford. My brothers saw him a few times and says he could be a top player for a team like us.

11 May 2019 22:40:40
Reece Oxford would be worth a punt probably out of league, transfer fee wise though.

12 May 2019 00:02:11
Reece Oxford is available on a bowman, last news was he was off to Germany. Would love to see him at us.

12 May 2019 05:01:49
Is that a Ryan bowman or Dave? Remember him?

12 May 2019 10:55:17
Both Bowmans remind me of those sketches of the missing link, especially the thug that played with the Motherwell hammer throwers.

11 May 2019 19:37:04
I know he's not the most talented player but he suffers no fools. Lee Cattermole for 2 seasons?

11 May 2019 20:51:54
I know he is currently playing in league one but he’s still on a reported £40k per week. I think he’s out our price range. My only other worry is his discipline, although I think he’s calmed down a little, he’s was a prolific player for getting sent off.

12 May 2019 07:58:04
Cattermole! No thanks.

11 May 2019 17:28:06
Was thinking about our squad with players coming back from loans etc, where does pollster fit in?

11 May 2019 17:53:05
More important, will his missus still attend games? 😍.

11 May 2019 18:50:48
Polster is a right back isn't he? Back up for tav.

11 May 2019 18:52:49
He doesnt
Not saw her snell what she like.

11 May 2019 18:57:48
Right back cover. or right back if tav moves on i guess.

11 May 2019 20:16:58
Tilla die, have you seen the thumb’s bird, well she’s nothing like that at all.

11 May 2019 20:52:54
Bankie - take a bow mate, honestly just spat out my beer! Well played!

12 May 2019 08:19:15
Ooft, Brittany Held is her name.

11 May 2019 16:02:26
First time poster. I am currently in crete in Greece can anyone advise of any bars where I could watch the game tomorrow? Cheers.

11 May 2019 17:23:48
What part of crete.

11 May 2019 18:34:15
Rethimno mate.

11 May 2019 19:29:50
World sport cafe edem.

11 May 2019 19:55:31
Brilliant mate will give it a try, thanks for your help.

11 May 2019 13:58:47
I think that SG signings are now starting to look more solid - remember, he is a trainee manager and as such will make mistakes -
he now knows what type of player we need to win the SPFL.

Agree with SG that we need a strong CB and a striker - both marquee signings I hope. The monies required to buy such players will be about £7-10 million - Morelos monies should help that with plenty left over for one more.

11 May 2019 17:32:18
I wish people would stop using the word marquee signings.

11 May 2019 17:42:48
He is not a trainee manager.

11 May 2019 20:41:41
Trainee manager? You's were shouting how "the rangers were coming" and you's were going to win the league with SG as manager. How did that work out? Is that the new excuse he is now a trainee manager? LMAO.

11 May 2019 21:34:21
Gannet that's us quoting word used by SG.

11 May 2019 22:44:09
88 - do you want Lennon to come back permanently?

12 May 2019 08:00:13
Trainee manager, seriously cato.

11 May 2019 09:44:38
Charlie Gilmour, being freed. hmm Glen Kamara wasn't good enough at Arsenal either and look at him. Big big Rangers fan and a decent player, young and free. I would like to see us add him to the team.
Thoughts?

11 May 2019 10:21:58
Couldn't agree more. Get him signed up nothing to lose. He played 2 games for arsenals first team this year so must have something about him. Massive rangers fan so you know we'd get 100% effort 👍.

11 May 2019 10:39:08
gilmour is a good player, but don't know much about his attitude.

11 May 2019 11:19:06
Have you seen him play I don't no much about him.

11 May 2019 13:51:21
Would rather have Billy Gilmour.

11 May 2019 14:01:28
He's young, well schooled, obviously has talent, why not?

11 May 2019 20:18:07
Big time Charlie?

11 May 2019 09:02:07
My team for tomorrow, foderingham, tavernier, goldson, katic, Flannigan, jack, mcrorie, Davis, airfield, Kent, Defoe. Mcrorie in for kamara to give a bit more fight as I've noticed kamara seems to play within himself especially the big games. I think kamara will be a good player for us but I'd like to see him do more in a game and maybe play the ball forward more often.

11 May 2019 11:34:18
I find it very tough to argue with that line up, definitely strong enough to beat them.

11 May 2019 13:47:14
Kamara MUST play. He plays with his head up constantly looks to play the ball FORWARD. Only change will be Fods in for Shagger I think.

11 May 2019 13:59:30
predictions boys? I fancy a 2-0 win with Morelos coming onto score the 2nd in the last 10 minutes.

11 May 2019 14:22:15
Nope kamara starts for me mate. We were superb in the 2nd half at the last old firm game at breezeblock boulevard, especially when kamara came on. If it ain't broke, no need to fix it. Same team for me as last week, with the exception of allan mcgregor.

11 May 2019 14:57:53
Have to agree with L17MAC here. Just look at the last old firm game at breeze block boulevard, in the 2nd half when glen kamara came on. We played superbly and kamara was the main reason for that. No need to change anything here, except for the forced change on us regarding the goalkeeper. Same team for me, it ain't broke so absolutely no need to fix it!

11 May 2019 16:06:15
I agree the only change should be Fods for McGregor.

11 May 2019 17:33:57
Kamara is our best DM he must start, ridiculous to have in the bench and fredo starts for me but I know most will disagree with that Defoe doesn’t do enough running.

11 May 2019 18:31:33
Gannet defoe makes better runs than fredo mate. We don't want our St running back, we want our st playing off the shoulder and into space. Defoe is much better than fredo. 👍.

11 May 2019 20:21:54
With exception of enforced change In goal think has to be the same team that’s won last 5 games. Only doubt for me would be Flanagan but he has looked sharper recently and deserves to keep his place.

Review Of The Day 11th May 2019

11 May 2019 07:29:12
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Review Of The Day 11th May 2019

11 May 2019 01:41:06
Hello all, don't post often and I live down south now so not at Ibrox much in the past years.
My take on us this season is this:
Major progress has been made, a real team is taking shape in my eyes.
We've a few players who have nailed there positions down, which hasn't been the case for the past 4/5 years ie greegs, goldson, Tav, flano, midfield is picking itself at the minute and there's cover there .

You can't argue with Alfredo's goal return, it's been fantastic and wee Jermaine has done a good job in his absence.
Youth age groups are something which has caught my eye this year, with rudden and seekers fave at livi both doing well on loan this year and mbude looking ready to step up from 23s Dallas has scored a lot too. We look to actually have a plan to get these boys in the 1st 11 which is something that's been absent since we went down imo. A lot of minutes for Middleton this year might be the making of the kid for next season and mcpake will see that, maybe we can start keeping the Billy gilmours now and see the fruits of the Hummel training centre.

The loan situation.
The ones who are fringe ie dodoo, holt don't concern me, teams will take these guys and it's a wage off the books. It's docherty and rossiter I'm excited about, Greg excelled albiet in a lower league but he did everything he could to make the boss think hard about him . Jordan r divides opinion due to a shocking injury record but he's not stopped once at bury, again at a lower level but the lads pedigree has never been in doubt . Fingers crossed and here's hoping.

Now my last point, underachievers and guys with a point to prove .
Dorrans, I want this man to have one full season fit, to me he really is a class player, someone who is a sharp guy who takes the pass first time to put the opposition under pressure and like arfield is very clever with his movement, much like rossiter class not in dispute but can he stay fit for 30/ 40 games? I hope so.

Jamie Murphy too, a serious injury at a dangerous age, let's hope he can hit the ground running next season because i think he could easy get twenty if he's back to his self and fully fit.
Hopefullly sir Steve of g gets a nice kitty and he can get us three or four rangers quality players to add to this group who to me from what I've saw off sky bt and the internet look to want to play for this club, the manager and us .
I only post once a year so please let me off ha.

11 May 2019 09:32:34
Spot on BWD.

11 May 2019 09:47:33
I’d give Barisic another season, a full one and I think he would come good.

11 May 2019 10:42:30
rossiter will likely go out on loan again, probably in spl this time (maybe 6 months) . maybe to livy or utd.
Think Doc may well too.
Grezda will move if a buyer can be found (unlikely) .
Barasic will stay I think.

11 May 2019 12:14:08
Struth Hope you don’t mean Scumdee Utd.

11 May 2019 18:47:16
cunny, yup i do. i know they fancy him and gerrard isn't going to get into the hatred thing. If that is where the manager wants him, i'm fine with it, even if its against my better judgement.
still, bridges have to be made sometime.

US tycoon, Mark Ogren is the new owner so its as good a time as any i guess.
