Club in discussions with Umbro to be kit suppliers.

20 Mar 2020 19:34:40
Not doubting you R Neely so where did you see or hear that mate? James bisgrove said it would be a big global brand kit manufacturer we would be looking to replace hummel with and i wouldn't have imagined umbro fall into that category pal. I think its definitely an american sportswear brand we're going to go with and like i heard between nike,
new balance and under armour, with new balance getting the nod, that's what i've heard anyway.

20 Mar 2020 19:58:27
Although i've been told we're in advanced negotiations with new balance to become our new kit manufacturers, there's also been rumours of 2 other sportswear firms possibly taking over from hummel, as our new kit manufacturers. Both macron and umbro have been mentioned and what i would like to ask our supporters out there hypothetically speaking, if it had to be either macron or umbro, which one of these two would you prefer to be rangers new kit manufacturers and why?

20 Mar 2020 21:53:03
r neely

i smell a rat.

20 Mar 2020 22:31:15
Do you live near Naismith?

21 Mar 2020 07:36:31
1st choice UMBRO
2nd choice NB
3rd choice Macron
Of the 3 mentioned above. I’d prefer Nike or Adidas though.

21 Mar 2020 14:13:27
U take it Theglasgowranger you rate umbro as a kit manufacturer mate? 🤔.

21 Mar 2020 14:39:43
You can buy Umbro in Asda George these days lol.

21 Mar 2020 15:11:58
Of the 3 kit manufacturers i mentioned above as the possible new kit manufacturers of rangers, my preference in order would be-
1.New Balance
2.Umbro
3.Macron.

21 Mar 2020 16:53:16
Not that hard a choice super.

21 Mar 2020 17:15:43
Say it again, New Balance are a big outfit but Hummel, Umbro and Macron shouldn’t be for us🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧.

21 Mar 2020 17:27:47
A wee question fauldhoose bear and its not intended to offend mate as there's without question more pressing matters out there at the minute, for which we all need to stick together! Who would you prefer as our new kit manufacturer, taking into account it won't be adidas, also unlikely to be nike? Like i stated, i heard it was going to be new balance and i personally would be extremely satisfied with them as our new kit makers. How about you?

21 Mar 2020 19:41:44
I agree with you yately01,but we also have to take which kit manufacturer is prepard to give us the most money, irrespective of how big they are! Ideally it would be for example new balance with them also offering the most money into the bargain, that's the best case scenario!

22 Mar 2020 14:47:27
Guys, what exactly is the position with Ashley, is he finished with us, or, is he still hanging around as a possible disruptive element.

22 Mar 2020 17:53:27
I think irvger, we will have to pay him off, how much will be determined by a judge in the court of law.
Meantime i'd imagine james bisgrove will still be able to press ahead with negotiations in obtaining rangers a new kit manufacturer! I've got no doubts he'll be pressing ahead with this for next season,
Whenever it starts!

23 Mar 2020 08:05:51
cheers SGL, this man has cost our Club a fortune, but as John25 also said a while back, I suppose we'll just have be patient on this one.

23 Mar 2020 09:26:59
S.g.l, as much as i agree with you mate, i think once dave king steps aside we will be shot of ashley, as he knows we couldn't do business with him now, under any circumstances, and his beef is with dave king, not rangers fc,

20 Mar 2020 15:32:51
Has anyone heard anything regarding out of contract and loan players? I personally hope this is not the last time we see kamberi or Hagi in a rangers shirt.

20 Mar 2020 16:57:51
Hagi has told the club he wants to stay and has no interest in lazio. Think kamberi would be easy to get given his comments and being in his last year of his hibs deal. Shouldn't be a huge outlay for the 2, especially if borna goes and we get this apparent new investment.

20 Mar 2020 18:45:01
Need to sign Hagi - he has done more in the few weeks he has been here than Kent, ono, ex hibs winger? , Murphy, put together.
Has great skill, can spot a pass, runs beyond defences, can take a tackle, and score goals, what is there to think about?

21 Mar 2020 07:43:24
I’d imagine we will make both deals permanent. With Hagi fee already agreed. With him getting chance to play every week, his dad happy with his development here and his reaction to Ibrox on Euro nights I’d suggest he would welcome signing on a permanent basis.
I’d imagine Hibs would be easily enough to deal with for Kamberi with only snag if other side are willing to pay more than the £250-500k I’d imagine we would. Docherty in swap deal would suit Hibs but I think he’s of higher value than Kamberi and with Davis and Kamara not been playing very well in there of late he would be worth keeping.
If McCrorie is getting played as CDM I would bring him back into squad aswell.

22 Mar 2020 07:02:21
Theglasgowranger, can you imagine how his dad must have felt being at ibrox to watch yer son and he bangs two in, must be some buzz for both, but just imagine being at ibrox and watching your son score two important goals in a euro win, pheww.

Maybe not the time for player rumours, but I was told by txt tonight that before the corona crisis that we had been actively scouting Nigeria centre half William Troost Ekong, who plays for Udinese. Supposed to be a £4m target to team up with Helander, but who knows now that everything in up in air.
