Hi guys first time poster after looking at the site for years, bit of a random post for the first one but wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of any rangers pubs in Perth? Heading there for the weekend I know the games on sky sports but just asking the questions of any Gers bars . Thanks.

If your in Glasgow and Greater health care region you shouldn't be going to Perth never mind using a pub, don't you know this is why the virus is spreading and none of us can get to the football.

Give the guy a break, If he lives in Perth and he is allowed to go to the pub then what's the problem? I would hardly think he is travelling all the way to perth from the central belt when there are closer places to go to?

jings lads we don't know anything about the poster . to assume is wrong . selfish people like me? sweep you don't know the first thing about me so please do not cast judgement on me . i read the original post i do not know if perth is open but if it is . so be it i do not know if royal as C.V. so i cannot say he is spreading it . i do not know where he lives? and for you info sweep because of my work and my daughter being a nurse i have seen her in 9 moths so don't say i'm selfish mate .

Jetmayfair he said he is traveling to Perth for the weekend mate, so not a resident. I know a good few folk been doing the same to Fife while Edinburgh is shut and it's stupid and selfish. Granted he may not live in Central belt (I personally still wouldn't travel to other parts anyway) but if he does it's a clear disregard to the rules.

I don't think pubs should be allowed to show matches on TV even if the pubs are still open. It would attract crowds unnecessarily. I live on the south coast of England and we have been lucky so far with an challenge rate of less than 50 per 100,000. Our local little pub is fine, not TV, fruit machines or other distractions. Social distancing, sanitising and a one-way system in place. Some people DO follow the rules. I feel sorry for people living in the large population areas like Glasgow. I know the situation is bad in my home town Dundee as my sister is in self-isolation. Crazy times. Jetmayfair he's heading there for the weekend, he doesn't live there, why should I stay in and obey the rules while others don't? I'd love a wee jolly away in Perth for the weekend to watch rangers in a pub.

Bollocks Briangersfan. If its open, it's open for locals not travellers, not making up rules here, that's been done for us. Got turned back from Killie travelling 20 miles to Glasgow. Wasn't raging bout it, just obeying rules. And may I say this was first time oot hoose in weeks. So never mind pub in sticksville and stay safe. Where hell you going to find gers pub oot there anyway?

i agree millerbrand rules are rules and if over there you are not allowed to travel to the fore said areas then you shouldn't but like i said i don't know about over there sorry if your allowed then its ok if not then don't be stupid .

Amazing how many people defending the op. Everybody moaning about restrictions but they'd maybe be up sooner if folk would use there head n stick to the rules.

I agree Doiger. Pubs should not be showing games and people should not be ttavelling to other places to watch the games. As the famous Scottish facebook poster said way back in March: Stay in the bas****ing hoose!
