Moving forward guys I think Goldson needs taken out the team for a couple of games the same way SG does with other players. I've said before that Goldson is fine, he's ok but that is all he is. His positional sense isn't great and he needs to work on that. When your centre half partner goes to challenge for a header you need to drop in just incase the striker wins the flick on but Goldson always stands square and we get caught in behind. This happens constantly and he's not learning from it. A lot of people criticise Katic distribution but my heart is in my mouth when Goldson is on the ball. If the long diagonal to Barisic when he is playing is not on he is shocking. He dribbles with it right up to an opposition player and then turns back toward goal running the risk of losing possession. The gaffer needs to drop an undroppable in my opinion to send out a message to everyone else and for me Goldson is that man.

You can't single one player mate and there's no way SG will drop him. he's been in the team since he joined the club.

MOCBear. Never a truer word said. I have been saying for months that Goldson certainly needs to be dropped, His job is to defend, Not try fancy long passes out off defence, Because he hasn’t got the skill to do that, 🇦🇺🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️👍😎.

As1974. Maybe it’s a bit unfair to single one player out. But he needs dropped. And it shouldn’t matter if he was in the team when Gerrard joined Rangers, Gerrard needs to grow a pair and wield the axe, Not only him but a few others, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇦🇺⚽️👍😎.

I'm with you Cunny but it won't happen. He has played probably every game under SG. Seen posts saying those asking for SG to get the sack is absurd etc. No its not. peoole are judging the man and not the manager. The jobs too big for him. That's the reality.

We've had an awful February, no question but I try to look longer term than 4-5 games. We're better than we were last season, more points than this time last season, still in Europe after Xmas.
Last night's performance was bad, even then we should have won (Morelos goal should have stood)
That doesn't I think SG should be imune to criticism.

@Mr grumpy my question was is SG going to take us forward? It's more than 4-5 games. Try 7 or 8. Very poor in most of them. His inability to change a game is going to cost him. So many negatives rather than positives.

Getting better, season after season, is that not moving the club forward?
still being in Europe after Xmas, is that not moving the team/ club forward?
We got to a final and should have won it. We beat our main rivals at their own ground. Is that not progress?

at the moment its as if Mark Warburton has come back, possession football at a snails pace and this from a group of players who are supposed to be of better quality, there pace and tempo is too slow, so whenever an opposing sides few attacks breaks down instead of quickly moving into there half as quickly as possible we fart around passing the ball backwards, are we now seeing the lack of experience in management from SG, I AM A BIG FAN OF HIS AND WE KNOW BY HIS FOOTBALL YEARS HE IS NO QUITTER, BUT I THINK A LITTLE HELP FROM AN EXPERIENCED MANAGER MIGHT HELP.
