Dijga for me has again, this week, reiterated the absolutely awful recruitment from Thelwell.
A scare that was responsible for Livingston goal (criminal) and Braga goal.
Think is. that if you look up his stats on Wikipedia. it shows.
That we signed him an expensive loan - player who has NEVER had a first team game in British football, just because Wolves signed him the end of January 2025 window on a long deal. but never played him.
Would also say that Max Aarons will turn TWENTY SIX 4th January. Has completely no positional sense whether defensively/offensively, whether left or right back. Plays like a wee primary school "player".
Hopefully the loans include an option for us to send back in January. but if the parent club doesn't want them and got a season long contract with Thelwell on that basis, we might be stuck.

Aarons had a fairly decent game against Braga so I'd keep him till end of the season just for cover.

Dijga was touted as the next carlos cuella after his first game or 2. Tbf he did look the part. Weird how he went on a downer so quick. Same as Antman n Gassama. Makes me think there's something toxic deep rooted within the club. Fan pressure with is unparalleled? Who knows but we need a big January window ??.

he has played for wolves/in british football before (don't think that's entirely relevant as a lot of our signings who aren't performing have) and he came from a league and a team you would think would transfer well over into our league/team in red star belgrade.
i had absolutely no problem with the Djiga singing, thought it would be a good one but its just not working from him. An international player who's played most of his senior football in the serbian league at a team playing for league titles and trophies (of which Djiga won 4 in 2 years) who wolves signed for 10 million seemed like a good signing on the face of it.

BBJ- Only for cover as Aarons looks back for safe pass every time - rarely takes man on and final ball is debatable- he is one I certainly don't want to stay and his area needs improved on?Only stand out with potential at back is Cornelius and he is gubbed for a while ?.

Djiga is having a horrendous loan time with us and for both parties it would be best if it's cut short in January.
When a club goes through a squad overhaul it's fairly common when you sign say 10 players+ you get a mixed bag of results.
Some hit the ground running some take time to adjust to the league pace ect.
And some just don't work for whatever reason.
On this occasion only Gassama has showed glimpses of promise and has potential to be a good signing in time.
Rest have been failures
I wouldn't put Cameron or Fernandez in that bracket because they have barely played for us yet.
Which is strange considering how poor Aasgaard has been Cameron deserves a run ahead of him all day long.
Personally I think Thelwell and co thought of the SPL as a joke and buying guys from English lower leagues would walk this league at a canter.
This is clearly and very evidently been shown how wrong they were.
It's very easy to just shout the defence needs
Fixed which it clearly does but that is not our only problem unfortunately.
We have zero creativity in the team and when we do create anything we don't have guys who can finish.
We've scored 17 goals in 12 league games that is horrendous.
So it's not just a defence issue it's all over the park.
Do we cut short the loan deals in January?
Do we try loan guys like Rothwell out?
How we fix this is simple move on the bad players bring in good players but obviously it's not as easy as that.
We have guys on long term deals ect getting shot of them especially in January won't be feasible in some cases others might still have some suitors in the championship you'd imagine IE. Aasgaard Rothwell
Either way January is going to be huge because as stupid as it sounds there is a long way to go in the league and a Scottish cup to play for.
A few proper players in the door could make a huge difference.

Djiga is so bad he is actually a step down from Robin Propper. Forgetting his spell at Wolves, he has experience in other European leagues so he's no raw youngster but he plays like one. Nobody was calling him the new Cuellar, right from day one he was slack in possession and completely lacked awareness of what is going on round about him.
The red flag with the recruitment team should have been, why didn't Wolves want to keep him this season when they were rejigging their defence especially when you see what they have got playing there. He may have cost £10million but we all know the EPL clubs have more money than sense. He is the defensive version of Chermiti.

We haven't got a mixed bag though alex none of them are good enough mate, unless your seeing something i don't?
