Honestly couldn't believe he gave a penalty for that, does anyone think that was a pen? Also think he was giving them everything, but that's expected they always want the top teams to be involved in wc.
Have to say though, they are an excellent team, if they had a top striker it could have been a horrible night for us tbh.

It was a stone waller mate, Robertson's foot is clearly on the line and their red card was never a red as it wasn't even a foul.
Who cares and i'm not complaining as we are through.

Ref tries to do is with equaliser played extr 2 mins, Celtic time. Backfired we scored a worldoe.

Never seen a team score so many world class goals in one game. Never ever.

Mctominay goal is not able
To put into words.

Best overhead kick I've ever seen

Closest
Is rivaldo v Valencia 3-2 94th minute to win the league and hat tricks

I think that was better tonight I do.

Thought it was a stone wall penalty, also thought the ref had a good game.

It was rough to see from where I was, my heart did miss a beat when I seen it though, then the false hope of perhaps it was outside the box.

I've not watched it back yet as I got home late (didn't want to leave the stadium), I think that might have been both the best and worst game I've seen live.

The euphoria of going up only to be pegged back then up again was too much for me, especially sober ?

Well done Clarke, I fair give him a hard time at times but you can't take away from what he's delivered.

I said to my mate and father in law last night 'just remember the feeling of tonight when we're getting spanked 5-0 against Haiti'.

Thought a tight one but was on the line so a pen. Was never a red card so wouldn't complain too much. Couldn't believe ref giving so much extra time but man I'm glad he did.

19 Nov 2025 08:25:50
Never a penalty in a million years, the challenge was outside the box. Also McGinn dived for the red card, no doubt.

19 Nov 2025 08:27:11
Robertson is like oor Tav - not bad going forward but legs going re defending and lunges into tackles - he could be liability in USA - imho it was a pen but we got breaks for a change and some great goals to boot??.

19 Nov 2025 08:37:51
I assume the rule is if Robertsons foot is on the line? As technically the contact was still outside the box due to his knee/thigh being ahead of his foot. As for the red card it could be deemed as a professional could he's turned out wide to stop mcginn was never getting near the ball.

Can have it both ways if law states the pen was a pen then the foul is a second yellow as stopping an attack is an automatic booking. Unfortunately the game has been ruined by 'by the letter of the law' decision.
I'd like to have seen a free kick award in both instances.

19 Nov 2025 09:02:11
J-zer, i'd rather have the 'letter of the law' than subjectivity because that never works out well for Rangers ?.

19 Nov 2025 09:14:10
they should never have had a red card imo, but not complaining.

19 Nov 2025 09:27:50
Cerny v Celtic last season hampen was further in the box and surprisingly, VAR Scotland said no pen.

19 Nov 2025 09:33:50
Took Shankland to score as soon as he came on, then cashed out over 5.5 goals just before penny's worldie. Ups and downs eh?

19 Nov 2025 09:34:30
I was convinced that McGinn was fouled in the build up to the tackle that was given as the penalty. McGinn didn't get many decisions last night but, he was very fortunate that the ref seen the second yellow card in that challenge as i thought it wasn't even a foul but, we'll take it though.

19 Nov 2025 10:10:41
The issue I had with the penalty was its re-refeereing the game. In game refs got perfect view of it and doesn't give it as a foul so why then does he change his mind! Yes was on the line but ref should have stuck to his initial decision.

19 Nov 2025 11:27:24
It was in the box on the line is in. It was never a 2nd yellow for Denmark player.

19 Nov 2025 11:35:32
It was a stick on and very similar to the pen Rangers should've got in yhe cup final last year.
